Wifi drops when locked - Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S Questions & Answers

Hi,
I'm currently on xiaomi.eu 8.5.10 rom and my wifi drops everytime the device is locked. This is super annoying with whatsapp web but it's not related to miui closing whatsapp because there is no issue if the device is connected with LTE... I can't find a setting like "keep wlan always active" anywhere:/ would be happy if someone has an idea to fix that.
Thanks in advance
Flatric

Does it do the same on original Xiaomi rom?
M

Did you go to Settings > WLAN > Additional Settings > Keep WLAN on during sleep?

Was on China stable before, there the issue wasn't there

Fixed it by installing Pushfixer

European wifi channels (12/13) and Cyanogen Mod

Hi all,
I'm the proud owner of a german htc magic (vodafone, 32B). I just installed the cyanogen mod and noticed that I can no longer connect to wifi channels >11 (since the cyanogen mod is based on the US version, where only 1-11 are allowed).
Since I had a similar issue on my linux laptop, I wonder if this is just a minor configuration issue (On my laptop i just had to add 'options cfg80211 ieee80211_regdom="EU"' to '/etc/modprobe.d/cfg80211'). I looked for a similar configuration file on the magic but couldn't find anything that looked familiar. Does anybody know if it is possible to set such an option?
Thanks in advance!

Says this
Build number: ALPS.ICS2.MP.V1.18
Custom build version: 9920.2013.07.02
I've reason to believe this phone is running 4.0, as I've read the 4.1.1 is actually faked

Check keypad
I recently faced trouble finding the call settings option on my Android 4.0.4 for my need to divert my calls to another number. I my shock it isn't already present in the system settings menu. After hours of searching here and there it was under or hidden under keypad.
1. Bring up your stock android phone keypad dialer
2. Tap Menu
3. Voila! There is the call setting option.
Android, in process of creating more easily accessible options is in turn making it difficult to find the same and hence the paradox.
Hope, the solution helps to those in need. :good:
Hi
I've been in call settings, which is why I know I'm missing call alert from the list of options on that menu.

How to enable ANT+ on K30 Pro

Hi there,
I just got my K30 pro, and installed MIUI 12.1 by xiaomi.eu 20.7.9 Beta, which is Android 10.
I installed ANT Tester and it shows that Built-in ANT detected. I tried to unlock the Built-in, which normally done by Permission>Additional permission>use ANT hardware, unfortunately, there's no this "Additional permission" under ANT radio service app's permission tab.
On my previous One plus 7 pro with Oxygen OS Android 10, I can enable Permission>Additional permission>use ANT hardware.
So, I guess it's the MIUI's issue?
Any suggestions?
Regards

Have you got ANT Radio Service app from Google Play? If so, go to that apps permission and set the additional permission there. If not, download it and then do the above.

Hi thank you for your reply. Please check my first post, no options in miui eu 12 (Android 10), I attached the screen shot.
I guess you're using some asop OS.
