Yes, you're right. Multiuser support is what you're talking about, and it is available from android version 4.2.2 and above. It is enabled on tablets by default. For phones, you would need to flash custom ROMs that have multiuser support. If you're not on 4.2.2+, then you could try the SwitchMe app on the Playstore instead (requires root).

Since I do not know much about your device, you should probably ask this question here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2100
You're bound to get a better answer that way!
P.S. When you ask in that forum, avoid using words like 'best rom' or 'stable rom'.

Says this
Build number: ALPS.ICS2.MP.V1.18
Custom build version: 9920.2013.07.02
I've reason to believe this phone is running 4.0, as I've read the 4.1.1 is actually faked

Check keypad
I recently faced trouble finding the call settings option on my Android 4.0.4 for my need to divert my calls to another number. I my shock it isn't already present in the system settings menu. After hours of searching here and there it was under or hidden under keypad.
1. Bring up your stock android phone keypad dialer
2. Tap Menu
3. Voila! There is the call setting option.
Android, in process of creating more easily accessible options is in turn making it difficult to find the same and hence the paradox.
Hope, the solution helps to those in need. :good:
Hi
I've been in call settings, which is why I know I'm missing call alert from the list of options on that menu.

[Q] Multiuser Bug on BR lollipop 5.0.2

Hi! I'm very please with the lollipop update, but I'm facing a problem I didn't get the solution.
I want to share app with my second profile on the multiuser feature from android but can't . I have seen in other devices the option to limit the app you want to share with the second profile, but that option is missing in my moto g.
Any work around this "bug"???
Another this is you cant install app from unknown sources in the second profile, and the root don't work. Thanks

[APP] [ROOT] [Android 4.1+] [v1.106] nMAC - Nil MAC Changer

What is nMAC?
nMAC(Nil MAC Changer) is a root application that can change your Android device's MAC address.
Why?
There are a lot of privacy concerns regarding Android's static MAC addresses. The possibility of being tracked everywhere is just one of the problems involved. This app aims to solve this issue by giving you, the user, control over your device's wireless identity. nMAC is intended to be used only for legal, non-malicious purposes, which do not involve unfairly abusing various wireless services. If you do not comply with these terms, please do not use this app.
Features:
A unique MAC file layout system
Works when other tools can't
Very fast and easy to implement support for more devices
Yet a generic approach
Persistent change
Safe backup and restore of original MAC address
Asynchronous, non-blocking & responsive design
No reboot required
MAC randomization functionality
Ability to set custom MAC address
Officially supported devices:
Google:

Samsung:
Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo
Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini
Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini

Hey, my device is not supported and i would like to see it get supported, how can i help making it compatible
I have a oneplus one with cm13 (android 6.0.1, se linux enforced)
Edit: i found the file where the MAC address is found and the lines
I only need to check if 5ghz uses a different MAC because there are 4 MAC addresses / interface configurations pressent but i already know one of them as it matched the one in the WiFi settings
/persist/WCNSS_qcom_cfg Intf0MacAddress=C0EEFB43FAxx (removed last 2 hex characters) this is 1 of the 4 addresses present that us sure te be one of them
Edit2; if i have time tomorrow i might look into making a pull request
I have an Xperia L with Resurrection Remix (a CM13-based ROM). Unfortunately not supported

This would be immense help! Please check my newly created guide to implementing support here - you will save yourself a lot of time. If you can't make it work or don't have time, please let me know and I will implement it ASAP. If that's the case, please make sure you send me this info first.
Also, I never thought about 2.4GHz and 5GHz having a different MAC. Please let me know if you find they are different because currently I change only one of them on the Nexus 5X! Thanks!

My access points don't seem to be reporting other macs also they are not AC access points. Using hotspot will use a different MAC address, i found a option for that.

Very good to know! I haven't considered changing the hotspot MAC (yet). It can be added on my to do if it's important to people.

Do I have Lemon or Marshmallow? Device says 6.0.1

I'm confused. In About Phone my device says it's 6.0.1. Google tells me this is marshmallow but if I check it with an app such as CPU-Z it says my device is Lemon. Whats going on here?
I try to follow videos about features of 6.0.1 marshmallow and my device doesn't seem to have those features. Which one do I have and why is this not straight forward?
Edit: The phone manufacturer does claim it's 6.0.1 Marshmallow https://www.zteusa.com/jasperlte - So why don't I have Marshmallow features?
Could I have an illegal black market version of the phone?
Thank you.

I'd be happy to but I have no idea how. Edit: I'll work on it and get back to ya asap.
I managed to get in in Google Photos. Here is a link to the file. I have no idea if this is the right way to get the info to show here. I've never used this feature.
(Old links removed by OP)
Edit: I just checked this with another browser not signed to google. It appears you guys cannot see these files.. I'll have to figure out another way to post them.
Try This: https://ibb.co/efk0N5 - About Phone
https://ibb.co/cBVd9k - CPU-Z
So, which is it.. Lemon, Lollipop or Marshmallow - and why?

O.k.. I have Marshmallow - then why don't I have the same Marshmallow functionality I see on 6.01 feature videos? For instance, I cannot hold down my system icon to access a system ui tweak settings page. It and other 6.0.1 features simply don't exist in my device - why? Shouldn't all stock Marshmallow 6.0.1 operating systems be identical?
I can see perhaps an exception if my device was missing a specific hardware required to make the application work but that's not the case with something as simple as UI tweak settings. I feel like i'm cheated out of functionality you know.

Thank you for your time and answers. If I could find a way to root the phone, i'd try to flash a version that gives me back all the stuff the OEM cut out. It's sad they work this way. I can get a copy of any Windows operating system and I'll always know it has full functionality no matter who installs it. Android should be the same way or don't claim it's really Marshmallow if it's a scaled down version. Not fair.
Again, My Thanks, sachin.
