it is a available code for the sprint note 5, i have the phone info + app and went to the csc changer, i am rooted, with magisk currently, but ive used supersu also, when i change it to bst, it like factory resets it or whatever, then when its booting back up the boost startup animation comes on, but when i check the csc code it is back to spr, or xas, and when i restart it after that, it goes back to the sprint or no startup animation, is there any way to make it stay(BST)? i havent been able to figure it out,

Hi,
I recently got a Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100 from my girlfriend which was locked to T-Mobile (it had been a contract phone). My contract is on Orange so I flashed an insecure kernel in Odin and used Samsung Quick Root to root the phone. I booted it up and managed to unlock (though i'm now not sure if this was a full unlock or some kind of soft-unlock, I don't know if that's even a thing - I used an app called "Galaxy S Unlock"). Anyway I tried sending a text just to make sure and it was fine. I decided to install CyanogenMod (latest version on the website), I did and all was fine. Then I was prompted to update on my phone so I did, halfway through it crashed and - being an idiot - I turned off the phone. After that I could only get as far as the Samsung logo when trying to boot and after that it would return to a black screen.
I did some Googling and decided to flash back to a stock ROM which worked and the phone booted fine. Now however, the phone asks me for the SIM unlock code (making me think this was a soft-unlock) yet I still get bars of signal but if I try to text or call I get the "Not Registered on Network" error. I've tried adding Orange's APN manually but it won't save, everytime I press save and go back into the APN it's blank. I've also tried to select the network using the "Select automatically" as well as trying both Orange and T-Mobile in the network options and simply get an "Unable to connect. Try Later" error. I've also tried to update through the phone and it says it's upto date. I'm currently running Android 4.1.2. The Baseand Version is I9100BVLS4 and the Kernel Version is 3.0.31-889555 with Build Number JZO54K.I9100XWLSY.
Could anyone give me any advice as to what to do? Thanks!

The Galaxy S unlocker mods the EFS folder and putting it back to stock might have messed up something. I would re-root and re-do the unlock. hope you have a copy of the original EFS partition before you started or that the app made a backup for you in case...
Hi there i'm new with Samsung so after some flash with odin i got 6.0.1 MM with my G920P. But something went wrong that Sprint boot screen disappeared. I am looking to get it back and realized that my CSC change from SPR to XAS.

After that i reboot then my mobile come in the starter setting screen. But after some mins it auto reset then my CSC back to XAS.
Anyone can help me please
Hello everyone
New here
I have a small problem today I bought a S8 + version in Switzerland because the price was about 15% cheaper than the FR version of my country and today I tried to change the configuration AUT (which corresponds has a unbranded Switzerland) to FTM (FranceTelecomMobile) To be able to benefit from VoWiFi and VoLTE. I flashed factory binary with the CSC FTM, in the IME dialer I was able to access the menu and install in full custom version FTM. The phone restarts the change has been taken into account so I flash my phone with other FTM files and when I go back in the download mod I notice that as in the attached photo the AUT version is still present which causes me to serious bug when I make calls (Bug that I do not have with the original AUT ROM)
I did several times the manipulation I also noticed that in the factory binary menu the FTM version remained well checked.
Detail noted, when it's factory binary and my CSC is flashed, When I'm in downloadmod the line CARRIER_ID disappears.
Other note: in the factory binary menu (with my chip sim) the grip was perfect for 20 minutes I observed 0 cuts. So my concern of cut appears well when the rom oreo is put.
My question is what to change so that it takes into account my change of rom and stops showing me CARRIER_ID: AUT. And especially not to have any DATA cuts every two minutes

Hello.
(backstory, boring) I have an SM-955F from Claro that I've been trying to unlock completely from the carrier. I've had lots of trouble with them and am pending a case with FCC to get out of their claws. In the meantime, I've been trying (without success, hence my posts) to get it working 100% with T-Mobile. I've had T-Mobile for years under a friend's name and couldn't get a device -so I took one from Claro when Puerto Rico was hit with the Hurricane (T-Mobile had no signal for months).
(Little-lot- of info) So, I had the phone updated to Sammobile's PCT 8.0 firmware -G955FXXU1CRC7_G955FOWA1CRC2_PCT-. But it didn't have the OEM unlock. At one point I remember installing TWRP but something happened to the phone and it wouldn't boot up. So, my act of magic (*coughs*, XDA) I found a way to get it back to official firmware (I think at first it was a Germany's 8.0 firmware*can't find the file name*). Anyways, I want to get the phone to have Wi-Fi calling, VoLTE, etc from T-Mobile and, for what I've interpreted, that comes from the CSC files.
Now, I found a thread that uses TWRP+AROMA to get a list of CSC files on the phone and I can just install the one I want. (I don't know if there's an easier way directly from ODIN but I've not found that compatible TMB CSC file for my phone to get the features working, if any).
In any case I still want my phone rooted (I think I triggered Knox, but the phone updated through the Samsung Updater just fine after installing a PCT 7.0 firmware -G955FXXU1AQCC_G955FOWA1AQCC_PCT-. Clearly I'm out of my depth)
(to the point) The phone doesn't want to install my TWRP file. Says "custom binary(RECOVERY) blocked due to remaining installment balance". Obviously it's Claro's side blocking it, I think?. But I can't get them to unlock it (since it's still "theirs", until I get my case resolved or pay their stupid balance. Long story short, Claro's service is **** and I regret not waiting to get my credit approved my T-Mobile)
So, how do I go about it? I read that its RMM blocked. But my state says normal. The OEM unlock only appears on the 7.0 -G955FXXU1AQCC_G955FOWA1AQCC_PCT- firmware (even then it won't let me install TWRP through ODIN). I honestly don't know. I'll appreciate all the help I can get to reach my goal of getting 100% on T-Mobile's features (mainly VoLTE, if possible-the feature is greyed out so I assume it can be activated). Can't even change the radio band on the thing. I read something about using Nova Launcher and having the widgets activate it through "Enhanced LTE" (I think) but that option doesn't appear on the list. I'd also like to delete all remnants from Claro on the phone, bloatware, booting logo and such. Since it's a 955F, I assume one can make it as if international?
Also, please check my previous post, I just realized I forgot to detail something. I did hit that "your phone has been modified, restart to undo process" and I forgot. Maybe that's the root of it all?
Any questions, please do ask. I'd like to get this moving. For now I'll use my Nexus 6 (God I love that phone a lot)
Maybe there's some compensation on this, maybe, if I get it done.
I've included the picture of the error and the info on Download mode, links for files I refer to also at the bottom.

Bump.
I have the same problem "custom binary (RECOVERY) blocked due to remaining installment balance", when trying to install TWRP, in my case I want to install Custom Rom and I could not, I have not found any solution to this problem, I do not have OEM on 8.0, and the RMM status is normal, I could unlock unlock SIM thanks to a friend with Z3X tool, do not charge for it but thankfully I made a donation for the hard work and also that the Z3X is not cheap at all, if you need to talk to him, you inform me to give you his contact.
SM-G955F Claro Puerto Rico.
I have the T-Mobile version A71 5g, model # SM-A716U. I can't stand the T-Mobile branding, especially the jingle on startup.I am trying to flash the generic firmware XAS-A716USQU1ATFB-20200713085932 with odin and it fails every time with a message on the phone.
Odin on the computer does not show any error. Once that process is complete the phone reboots to the bootloader and shows an error message: failed the resizing-data
Is there any way to do this without wiping the phone? I read some things that say you have to log out of google and samsung accounts, would that really make this process fail?

I doubt Odin cares what accounts you do or don't use. Shouldn't have any effect.
I'm not a fan of the T-Mo branding either. The all-pink screen splash is obnoxious.
Sounds like the problem is the internal memory partitions are slightly different between the generic image and the T-Mo image and it doesn't lime that.
So you think for this I will need to factory reset. Do I just select re-partition in odin and then select CSC file instead of HOME_CSC file?
And is there any risk of tripping the efuse or setting the warranty void status to 1?
In the meantime I tried the *#272*IMEI# and this is just such a mess. When I set it to XAS the phone thinks it is Sprint phone and tries and fails to activate. When I set it to XAA then that doesn't happen but it refuses to make VoLTE call and calls over CDMA do not connect for some reason. I am using Verizon SIM card BTW. Also in XAA T-Mobile 5G does not work.
But now it is stuck on XAA *#272*IMEI# does not bring up the menu!

Where are you finding generic (unlocked) firmware?
I've looked on SamMobile & couldn't find anything for the SM-A716U.
As best I can tell, there is no unlocked version of this firmware nor does Samsung even offer an unlocked version of the phone itself.
I don't know, this is all very confusing. Some random websites say XAS is generic firmware, other random site say XAS is Sprint. And then they show a BST firmware too but nobody tries to guess what carrier that is for.
In any case if I used the *#272*IMEI# menu to switch it to XAA and now Verizon VoLTE doesn't work and T-Mobile 5G doesn't work what can I do to revert back to stock since the *#272*IMEI# menu will no longer show up?

Have you tried using Samsung's Smart Switch desktop tool to restore your phone back to stock?
https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/app/smart-switch/
Smart switch doesn't give me any option. The old version says this phone is not supported for recovery.
And now I can't even get the phone back to download mode
I am also looking for a way to update my A71 5g to Android 11 and OneUI 3.
I have the model number SM-A716U, the AT&T variant that is network unlocked and on Metro-by-Tmobile.
I have been looking for a way to update the phone but I only found the firmware for model SM-A716U1 which is the unlocked variant.
I don't want to take the chance of bricking the phone.
But the firmware is from AT&T but the model number is different.
There is an update for the right model number but it can't be downloaded anywhere.
Smart Switch also doesn't recognize that there is an update.
I guess I am just stuck with Android 10 and OneUI 2.5
