Would there be any advantage to having Reduce Blur from the VR settings enabled everywhere in the UI and not just in VR apps?
Is there currently any way to trick the UI into thinking it's always in a VR app or activating Reduce Blur in any other way?
Settings > Display > When device is in VR > Reduce Blur (recommended)

Thanks!
Still waiting for an answer on this.

Is it just me or is the latest build of Chrome Beta with just the right flags enabled is simply flying and scrolling is smoother and better that ever ! It was getting good for me "scrolling" wise for a while now but the latest version is as good as I have seen it. Even when browsing Google + sites where before stuttering always occurred, this is now much better. I only changed specific settings in "flags" and of course I use it along Adguard. The experience is now very good and no need for a browser like CAF chromium which was fast but also has many bugs. ?

Well for one thing i enabled multiple raster threads for the first time since before it would seem to degrade performance rather than enhance. I also enable experimental canvas features. Other couple ones I modify might not relate to performance per say...
The rest for the most part I leave to their defaults. Combined with adguard paid version and DNS filtering enabled. Performance is great and battery hit minimal.
At least for me ?

Thanks will try it
tv2.no just lags just as much as before, I have default tile sizes set to 1024, which is the only settings that has helped for me.
Also, is it still advisable to do so? Or would I be better off just leaving my phone as it is?

General you can disable apps in settings - apps - click on app - disable. But it depends on which android version you are. Disabling apps can help a lot to improve battery life! Which one do you want to disable?

Can anyone tell me what their default DPI is? I changed mine in developer settings, now I forget what it was.
Also, what are you using, and hows it working? I've found 360 and 400 work good, except on 400 the keyboard is too low.
Thanks!

If you've changed it in Developer Settings you can change it back to default in Additional Settings > Accessibility > Display > Display Size

Hello there.
I have just bought the ZenFone 6 and I would like to know if, there is any way that I can lock an app from closing in the background.
If it is closed I will not receive my emergency cardiac arrest alert from the dispatcher
Thanks

Yes, you can specify up to 8 apps in the OptiFlex settings but I wouldn't trust ASUS software with your life!

Why? It's doing an excellent job so far. Better than my pixel 2 XL by far
In Settings -> Battery -> PowerMaster
There is a toggle on "Auto start manager" - you can control app by app, which should be allowed to auto-start in background.
You can also toggle to allow every app you install to auto-start in the background (for good and for bad).
Furthermore, I think there are settings inside Android itself as well, to not "optimize battery" for a particular app.
I searched this forum but did not find an answer.
On mate 30Pro, menu for configuration of smart cover has on option to (de)activate steps counter.
However on P30 the same menu misses that option. Do you know if I can do it another way?
many thanks for any help
Hello,
Uninstaling "Health" app should remove the step counter.
That's seems excessive but I didn't find any option to just disable it.
Hi
But to unninstall health i need root or i can do it through adb commands? And which commands?
Many thanks for help
You can uninstall this app like a normal app :
- long press on the app icon and uninstall
- parameters > applications > applications > health > uninstall
- optimizer > cleaning > apps > health > uninstall

If you don't need the magazine lock screen, choose another style in Themes - Me - Customize - Lock screen style.
My P30 is Chinese. Not sure it works the same way on international versions.
