Hello,
I was needed a software which ouput ALL data the Motoactv was recording when running and was unhappy with the data exported by the native Motoactv software.
So I made my own which track you GPS position, 'ant+' HR measurements and 'ant+' footpod measurements. those measurement data into a csv file.
that csv file is durectly readable by Sporttracks (including lap info:good.
I didn't do it yet for (ant+) Bike Speed/Cadence sensor, because I use My Xperia-Active for biking, and on my Xperia-Active I made a similar software (more complete actually (with map support)). But maybe with enouh donation I may do it (I mean if people here find this software usefull).
I also plan to later support the internal Motoactv accelerometer (footpod) if I'am able to hack it too like the ant+ reading.
So the small user Guide of the soft:

pre-requisite: Your watch must be Rooted (by the way mine is 16 GB)
A) the soft has 4 swipeview pages.
Pg 1:

a) you have 3 button to connect: the GPS, the SDM (footpod), the HR. below the button you have some status info
b) scrolling down you have two buttons:
'Start': to start/stop a workout
'Continue': to continue the previous workout. (button is disabled when you are recording),
Note, that at startup the software load the previous workout.
Pg2:

Main Recording Screen with: HR recording info, footpod recording info, GPS recording info.
scrolling down this screen you have a "LAP" button to mark a lap when recording.
Pg3:

you have the summary of the last 6 laps
Pg4:

a checkbox to allow a lap to be made automatically whan your speed goes below 1km/h or your cadence drop below ???
B) General note
the csv file is located in directory " /sdcard/TrackGmn"
the "home" button is performing a "LAP"
the "volume_down" button is starting/stopping recording
the "volume_up" button is doing the "continue" (from previous workout)

Just got an email from the "Smartwatch Universal Remote" team saying that they will eventually be porting the Android wear version over to Tizen OS. As always is the case they can't give a definite time frame but here's hoping it's soon as "watchon" currently being the only restrictive available remote control app. Also I had encouraging responses from "Smart IR Remote Lite" – Universal Remote For Your Gear 2" is also working on reinstating thier version as Samsung changed the code causing it not to function .
As Samsung no longer supports ir blasters under current gear s2 watches it might be worth other gear/gear2 owners requesting support for the remote control software directly from these developers so as to give them encouragement to commit resources to a speedy completion.

I bought my gear 2 a few days ago due to my note 4 infrared blaster malfunctioning and currently being unable to be repaired it was a cheaper option to do so at current note 4 / gear 2 prices. So you can imagine my disappointment at the limited functionality of the Samsung official "watchon remote control app".
Also even though I am not a competent OS coder I have requested the original source code from Samsung via their open source portal for the gear SDK to see if it is possible to extend the functionality of the Watc on and will update on their reply here.
Exactly my feeling here, I will send the emails to petition a speedy gear development as my note 4 IR is no longer working.
It is the 1st of April 2021 and I have just received Android 11, EMUI 11 Update notification on my EVR-N29 Mate 20 X 5G.
I have attached a screenshot of the changelog.
Please share your experiences with this update. I really hope that 2 things will improve: battery life and audio output management.
I will download and install later today!

I had emui 11 since december and there is not much a difference just higher number. no any changes ..
I been like one year thinking what else ppl want from an phone?? water fountain next update??
They can make change log about things but real feeling just same..

Regarding your post, I consider myself the biggest critique of the mate 20x that I know. That said, I must admit that the newest update provides the best one thus far with noticeable improvements in the multitask and app switching depts. However (and thats a big 'however'), the benefits of this update should've been in place at least a year ago since huawei is always late in providing stability and features other phone companies already furnish much earlier with their own updates which to me is inexcusable for huawei not to do.

It is not late but they not gonna be hurry with 3 year old phone.. They will focus on their latest flagships P40 series and mate 40 series.. As not many ppl bought 20 x series..
Had it since 2019 and I didn't notice any performance improvement just same..
I had a Mate 20 X a couple of years ago and I am thinking of getting another one, but the 5G version, because I am bored with my Z Fold 2 already.
Is GMS still supported on the EVR-N29 with EMUI11?

They are late which is what you dont understand. Theyre not just tardy in updating a 3 year old phone but for their other new offerings of phones as well. Many consumers who have bought huawei flagships complain of missing features as well as those that shouldve been baked into past updates rendering huawei phones below par to the rest of the competition's.
Especially important to note is huawei's brand suffers when even their older phones lack the stability and features that are integrated into updates for newer phones. Therefore, updates for grandfathered phones do reflect their current quality as a global company, else their brand suffers among consumers which negatively impacts their bottom line and long-term reputation.

Truth be told, 5G is gimmicky and limited in practical application.

How do I get this EMUI 11 update? I just got an EVR-N29 for very little money which I could not pass up.
My software is 10.1.0.235 (C431E4R2P1).
Software Update doesn't show an EMUI update.

Hi I have the Mate 20 X 5G Version C431 11.0.0.146 (Android 10) and I can not find the Wifi Calling or VoWifi options. Anybody knows if they take that out in EMUI 11? Thanks
Also in the lockscreen the cutout at the top right is not in the correct position. It covers part of the battery indicator

How the heck are you guys on emui 11? I can't get mine to update at all. Still on Android 9
So I finally got the updates going. Getting a Chinese sim card definitely did the trick. It wasn't even activated but worked instantly finding the updates
