Nice idea.
On my Galaxy Nexus I'm unable to play because the bottom line of digits is not visible.
Please fix that, I want to try it...

The nexus is a preset in the SDK so it should be easy to check.

nice job
Is it still worth €150? Or should i get the LG Optimus 2x? Both would be used. How's jelly bean running? Also, how many space for apps?
I would buy it. The price is not Bad. It is a i9020 or i9023? JB is on the Nexus S really smooth. Batterylife is ok. And they are many Roms too.

bought mine for about $200 in my country. now it replaces my cowon j3 as a music player (voodoo + poweramp w/ tweaked eq).
Space might be depended on the rom and partition configuration. Running SlimBean with 1GB available, you can always move the app to SDcard if you need more.
If you are willing to flash roms and customize it then it might be worth buying, but for a little more you can get a Galaxy Nexus. Also I don't feel the camera is good enough anymore, but I do find the GPS signal on this pretty better than other Galaxy S variants.
Converting to USD, 150 euro is a bit much for now, but maybe 140 or less.
Its the best phone I've owned.
I can do everything in one device now. I've sold my sat nav and now I can do away with my iPod after setting up Google Music. I was looking to get a S2 or maybe a Galaxy Nexus, but I listen to a lot of music at work and both those devices haven't got a decent sound chip, unlike the Nexus S . So I will be keeping the Nexus S for the foreseeable future.
I think if you want flash ROMs go for it.
But at stock its still good.

I would always buy Nexus. The Galaxy Nexus is too big so I still vote for the S. It's really smooth with Strawberry ROM from kzno. The only thing that's really bad is the GPS signal. No chance to use it for navigation.

Mine have good GPS signal. I can even get it indoor. Might want to try this to improve the signal: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=878970
I buy phones with CM, the S7 here use Exynos, seems Exynos has no good support in CM, but S7 is interested, should I wait and see or I can already look somewhere else?
thanks.
If you want cm13,14,.. like me you'll have more chances with the new HTC 10... (snapdragon).

Pretty sure AOSP-based developers abandoned the Galaxy line with the S3.
Hahahaha
Don't expect anything other than debloated ROMs with Exynos
Hello,
In the UK here and have the HTC u11 life on pre-order, I can see a few posts on here so can see that there are actually some people that own and have first hand experience of the phone. Im moving from a Nexus 5x so would be very interested at your thoughts about this phone ? Screen, speed, quality, are the bezels that big, etc etc. Anything u can tell me....
Also, One main question: does it have a notification LED ? I contacted HTC support and they have said, yes it does but I cannot see this in the specs or pics.
Many thanks for the info

Great phone for the price.
I have a T-Mobile version so it's not Android one software.
It has notification led. The phone is basically just like my 10 in size. The screen is only 1080p but it's great still.
Cameras are great. Battery and standby are great. It's a really great phone overall.
Thanks Bro

I literally just got back from T-Mobile to get the u11 Life. I set it up to my liking and everything is great so far. Touch response is great. Speed is great. I just wish it came with the USB-c to headphone adapter like most phones workout a headphone jack. But the free headphones are great.
Just having a little lag every so often with the finger print unlock.
I rebooted the phone and now the fp sensor works great. No complaints so far with this phone.
I've seen many reviews complaining about trouble with getting Edge Sense to register properly, but I've had no issues; I've actually found it to be very useful when using the short press for Google Assistant and the long press for the camera app. Can anyone confirm consistent issues with Edge Sense or a lack thereof; did the reviewers tend to roll poorly in the silicon lottery?
I have a U11 (Android One version, with 4 Gb RAM and 64 Gb storage) and everything works perfectly, including Edge Sense. This phone is amazing, takes vary nice pictures (and pics are OK in low light, not as good as on the U11 but for the price it's a great choice).
It's lighter and had more "grip" that the metal edges, at least for me it's not as slippery as big brother so I tend to enjoy it more without a case on !

Hello!
How did you get your unit? I live in France too (judged by Bouygues Telecom in your status bar).
I pre-ordered it from htc.com and I have no clue when I will get it.

He obviously got the 32GB version, wich is on sale since a week or so. The HTC website is the only place where you can get the 64 GB Version.

I was lucky to test the unit a few weeks before it was released (I am running the french blog www.monhtcone.com). I confirm this is the 4GB / 64 GB version.
I 'm going to post a Q&A video soon on my channel, so if you have any specific question feel free to ask

Same here in NL. I contacted HTC NL and their customer service said they expected to deliver the 4gb / 64gb devices not until beginning of December... Not sure if this also applies to other countries but a little disappointing seeing how the 'regular' model is already available through several webshops here...
Not Great at all. Looks like another 2 weeks worth of wait, oh well, I do hope its a case of 'good things come to those who wait.'
Been reading reviews and although this is not a flagship phone the reviews do seem encouraging. Bring it on HTC...

Well, there are some in Germany who offer the small device already too, but none is shipped in a short time frame.
I'm waiting since 2 weeks now for the blue version

I've ordered 2 yesterday.
The black version seems to be available. The Blue version not. So expect delays when going for the blue version.
On a side note. Black Friday sale started yesterday, so the phone now costs around 341€
Check HTC Club

My wife needs a new phone. She has an S7 Edge.
My range is around 200 euros (she breaks the phone too much), so the options are the S8, used with 2 years warranty, or something like a POCO X3 or Redmi 9 Pro.
I will go for the Redmi, but she says they are too big.
What do you think? Is it worth it? I imagine I will need to flash custom rom, is there one that is stable enough?
Thanks!
RN9 with snap 720G or if something smaller then maybe it's better to invest a bit more and get Pixel 4a.

Yeah, my doubt is not with the Remi/Poco. My doubt is if the S8 will still be a good phone today.

I wouldn't go for custom roms with Samsung, the camera is crap and there are some battery limitations, plus no Always On Display. Those are the reasons that are stopping me from moving to custom.
I would choose Samsung S10e it's a compact flagship device it's great

I have the S8 is great I bought it this year but yes no software updates anymore so I would definitely go for that S10e I wish I have done that (this is a great device anyways and I'm enjoying it but yes I don't mind a lot about the updates that's just me)
