Need Help in Fixing My Tablet - SM-T111 - General Questions and Answers

Hello everyone,
I bought a tablet - 'Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Neo SM-T111 Tablet (8GB, WiFi, 3G, Voice Calling)' a couple of years ago (maybe 2 years??). Last month I ran into a problem. I charged it overnight (which I did many times) and the next morning I saw that the tab was stuck on charging screen. I tried many methods but still it is stuck on this loop.
To clarify, I have never, ever rooted or flashed this device before, no matter how tempting it sounded.
Since then, I have tried fixing it myself quite a number of times but did not find a way to fix it.
What I have tried -
1. Holding the power button + volume up/down button (without pressing the home button).
2. Pressing the power button + volume down button + home button to enter the download mode. Then I downloaded the samsung kies drivers., Odin3 3.12 and the firmware T111XXUBOC2_T111ODDBOC2_T111XXUAOC2_HOME.tar.md5. I opened the Odin software and selected the firmware in AP. The options which were selected are Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time which created the following log

3. I tried extracting the file recovery.img from the firmware but while mounting it, the error dialog box showed - "The disc image file is corrupted".
Despite all these efforts, the tablet still does not work.

Actually I don't know the first thing about rooting or flashing. I just googled stuff and watched a few tutorial videos. From what I can tell, the process stops after reaching the recovery.img and system.img.
So....... I want to know what I should do - download a custom firmware, download another firmware or get the recovery.img file from somewhere and then mount it?
P.S. I downloaded 2 firmwares from different locations and the chances of both of them being corrupted are kinda slim.

Hello, I had a custom ROM on my phone called Hyperdrive, it's not too popular. I felt like switching back to stock, to try out Lolipop, I had Safestrap installed, so I used to to revert to my backup, then when I found out my wifi button no longer worked, I decided to restore to to stock through the boot menu, I didn't think much of it at the time, but it was probably a bad idea to hard restore it with safestrap on.
After I tried this, my phone got all buggy, and I could not get past the Samsung screen. Safestrap was giving me some error, I'd happily tell you what it said but safestrap no longer appears on boot, I went through the options to factory reset it from there, but nothing happened. So I tried the Odin flash. Absolutely no luck. I no longer have those specific logs, but it had something to do with Pit repartition. After some research I did try again, with the proper PIT file, and I got these logs
Code:

Failed.
After that my phone on startup says
"Software Update Failed
Your device didn't update successfully. Use the Verizion Software Repair Assistant to repair your device and complete the update."
I looked around, couldn't find Software Repair Assistant, bit I did find Samsung Kies, and I tried it, this time I got the progress bar to show up on my phone, but once I did it asked me to create a password on my computer, but for whatever reason when I typed Kies didn't register what I was typing, probably **** luck, so I was forced to cancel. I got to this point 2-3 times, then after that, I no longer got a progress bar, instead it said Kies was unable to communicate with my device.
What I'm hoping for is that I can get the VZW Software Repair Assistant program, I'm sure someone around here has it.
I've tried numerous Odin flashes with many files, many versions, but no luck.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
UPDATE:
After trying two other computers the problem still persists, with absolutely no luck. I at least got a loading bar, but it just sat there for two hours making no progress.

I'll give that a try, thank you.
I did try something else earlier, Odin did work on the phone, but everything's gotten worse. The phone still doesn't boot up, but I get the Samsung Custom screen now. Oh joy, voided warranty, of course this is my fault for being desperate.
Still in need of help though.
Now I get this in Odin

[Completed] Soft bricked Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505

Recently I was trying to flash a firmware to update from Android Jellybean 4.3 to 5.0.1 lollipop. Ended up soft-bricking my phone.
Here's what I have already tried:
1. Do not tell me to change the USB cable/port, as it worked completely fine to root my phone the day before it got bricked.
2. I downloaded what (I think) is the stock firmware of my phone, and tried to flash it with Odin (3.07, 3.09 and 3.10.6) and a PIT file. (Gave an error without the PIT)
Here's the logs of what happens:

It fails, and nothing happens. Sometimes on the phone's screen, it also shows "SV REV. CHECK FAIL : fused : 4, Binary : 3" in one of the lines. Not sure what it means.
3. I tried flashing the PIT file without a PDA, and it succeeds, but then it gets stuck in the start-screen boot loop.
4. I cannot go into recovery mode, I've tried it but it didn't work. (Home button + Power + Vol Up.) I can only go into download mode..
Please help me.

Well.. ever since it was bricked, I can't seem to find it in the device manager at all, though Odin does seem to recognize my device.
Also, I reinstalled Samsung Kies and the drivers several times, but it always gets stuck on "connecting device" each time on Kies.

Is my GT-N8010 bricked?

Hi all,
I have a Galaxy Note 10.1 (2012) which worked fine until one night I switched it off before bed. The next morning it doesn't boot up. It just shows the Samsung logo.
The machine won't go into recovery but starts to show the TWRP initial screen before going back to rebooting.
The machine will go into download mode and I have tried flashing stock a stock ROM and TWRP again but each time, ODIN reports a fail.
This is the log from ODIN when I try to flash the stock ROM:

I have very often flashed ROMs in the past without a problem. I had TAB Sensation on the Note and had been using this for quite a while, then this just happens without any obvious reason.
Any help would be so gratefully received.
Thank you.

Thanks for this but what should I download again?
stock ROM # for your model .
Same problem, but with unrooted model on stock 4.4.2. Happened once before, when under guarantee, and Samsung fixed it. Issue in detail:
Switch on - stuck at 10.1 logo
Will restart into download mode
Won't restart into recovery
Windows 10 computers won't recognise it when attached ('unknown USB device'), so ODIN doesn't see it.
So I'm stuck - any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Attempted remedies so far:
uninstalled Kies
installed Samsung drivers (various versions)
reinstalled Kies
Skipsoft Toolkit
I've got the exact same problem with mine, it started several months ago. I was about to toss it but figured I'd give it another shot after a coworker told me of this forum. He suggested loading a new firmware/OS via the micro SD card, although since it won't even really boot I'm not sure how I'm going to do that.

Old Note 10.1 suddenly stops on boot...

Hi people,
Yesterday my 10.1 was slow as something very slow again, its internal memory was nearly full (frkn Rayman is 5 gig by now) so I deleted some little games through the aps-manager. And also "google text to speech" which surprised me a little bit, i thought that woud be one of the million apps i dont use but have to keep, but he led me deinstall it. Happy, i went to bed.
This morning I took the thing and started Animation Throwdown, which is in part on a micro-sd ( I recently put some apps on the sd, again with the app-manager. Didnt work before kit-kat, but works now i guess.
During some loading screen it suddenly rebooted and halted at the glowing SAMSUNG logo.
I turned it of by pushing the power button 10 secs some times, Then i took out the mini-sd. I think after that it didnt really power down anymore, when i tried it always rebooted.(This is solved by attaching the power..why???)
I cant enter recovery mode, just download-mode.
So I got Kies and Odin and a stock os. I just recently updated to kitkat, so i took this one.
Installed kies, shut it down, shut down the single kies process, start odin in admin-mode (every odin version i found tested), add firmware, connect tab in download-mode. It gets detected. But all the time:

I googled and found a gazillion threads on stuff like this, most times not solved but rather old. According to this either something broke, my computers usb suck (possible) or its a general problem with odin and note 10.1 and .tar files. There seems to be a chance that making my own .tars could help, but i dont know i i will be able to learn that stuff...
Ah, installing twrp doesnt work either, its another error though.
Any tips? Something broke? Should i try another firmware (will have to wait for this, sammobile stuff is down for non-premium members. There is an eplus (carrier) version, but the tab was unbranded bought from german retail "Saturn". Would trying out lolipop be a good idea?
I know this stuff is old, but i would really like to get at least my data back ;(

S6 NAND Write Operation Failed SM-G920F

Hi everyone,
On my S6 all of a sudden I got the blue screen saying that I need to connect it with Smart Switch for a Recovery. Smart Switch wont recognize the S6. So I tried with Odin to flash a new stock firmware but I keep getting NAND Write Operation Failed after boots.img.
This phone hasnt been used for several months, but I want to recover it because there are very valuable holiday photos on it. So the internal memory cant be wiped. I a hoping that flashing a stock rom will make the phone boot again.

I have tried various stock roms and also various usb cables. The phone was last used in the 1st week of october, so the first rom (6.0.1.) I tried to flash was the lastest prior to it (september). After that I tried August and then I jumped in time to January because I read about a rollback isnt possible. After January (the last month for 6.0.1) I decided to try the latest stock rom avaible for 7.0.
My phone is unbranded but just incase I also tried the 3 branded roms for my country (the netherlands) for vodafone, T-Mobile and Ben. All tried roms gave the same response as stated above.
I also tried to unpack the tar file and use TarCreator to create a separate Tar file for each .img. Then flash them 1 by 1 in Odin. But again the same Nand write error is given.
Odin versions that I used: 1.85 and 1.10.6
Things I didnt try yet:
Pit I kept the Pit empty on Odin. After some research it still wasnt clear to me if using a stock Pit file would not wipe the internal memory.
I hope some here could clarify that. And if I can safely use a Pit file, do i then 1st run the pit file, restart Odin and then flash the Rom. Or can i just enter them both at the same time/session?
BootloaderI found some info that said that boatloader might be corrupted? Again also about that I couldnt find a clear answer if it would wipe the internal memory. Also I am not sure where to find good boatloader files.
I've spend now 3 days on google searching solutions and trying different roms and I dont know what to try next. I hope one of the experts on this forum might know another solution or can give a clear answer on the Pit or Boatloader options.
Kind regards.

After boot.img the phone turns off black screen, then goes back to the smart switch recovery screen. Gave it a few more tries and tried with Auto Boot enable and disabled. After the last attempt the phone screen stays black, even when plugged into the charger
Also Ive noticed that the right side of the phone now gets very hot when plugged in.
The screen still stays black. The phone wont even turn on anymore :/
Flashing stock will wipe your data anyway. There is a chance it won't format your internal storage though. If there is VERY important data, you should go to a professional data recovery service.
