Current prices: 520€ for 6/64 modell, 570€ for 8/128 modell.
The 256GB one could be the Avangers Edition, but no info/price yet.
EDIT: Yeah, this thread is a discussion... Sorry -_- If any mod sees this, please move it. Thanks.

Hope they have a couple of varients.I imagine the 8/256gb varient will be fairly expensive so hoping for maybe 8/128gb.
Will only buy if it is around €550.
Hope they wil announce it early this year

I read somewhere that the base (6/64) variant will be ~530€.
But elsewhere i saw 600€+ for the base variant so hope the best

$529 (6/64)
$579 (8/128)
$629 (8/256)

OP1: $300
OP2: $330 +30
OP3: $400 +70
OP3T: $440 +40
OP5: $480 +40
OP5T: $500 +20
I's guess a price around $540 or $550 for base model based off of how it's been going.

It is very simple: If they price it too high people won't buy it. They used to make "flagship killers", but if they get the price even higher with this model, the flagship killer concept actually dies, because it will reach the flagship price. On the other hand, the average OnePlus user has become much more greedier, we want all flagship features possible, stellar cameras, high-res displays, but we are not willing to pay. It's kinda hard for OnePlus to make everyone happy.

if they ask for €600 there will be better options to buy.
Even the note 8 can be found around €650 now

Yeah, good price would be under 600€

I am absolutly happy with my OP5, had the OPO and OPT before, and the amount of money to purchase has been grown up to my personal limit.
500 bucks for a flagship killer is ok, but more....it would be a flagship and nothing different with others.
The community and the developer scene here on XDA is one argument to stay, but we'll see...

We don't know the price of the OP6 yet.
Of course it will be a better phone than the Mi Mix 2S (hp jack, oled display over ips, better default OS imo, but with notch), but if the price is too high, go for the Mix 2S.
EDIT: I have been seeing rumors for two days saying that the price for the base modell will be ~530€.
+ The Chinese release for OP6 is 5th May. (This is also a rumor)

Are you positive OP6 will have oled screen?

Rumor is that OP6 DXO Mark score is in the triple digits.

IMO this is going to cost at least €600 for the base model. Which will render it a pretty unattractive proposition to any informed consumer, as by the time it's out an S9 should be available for under €600 (can already be had for €630ish).
But then, they've built the brand, and some people will stick with it. Even though this is just going to be a very overpriced Oppo R15 with a SD845.
Still, it should be a significantly better phone than the 5 / 5T, if the R15 (& Pro) are anything to go by.
If you like the look of it, and you don't play mobile games, you should probably save yourself €150 and buy an R15 Pro, or the R15 if you don't mind the MT SoC. It'll be marginally slower, but have better battery life.

From oneplus its £229 for the 16GB version and £269 for the 64GB model. There's a few pound for postage also, can't remember how much.
You can buy without an invite from online companies like oppomart, coolicool, aliexpress, etc. They're usually a bit cheaper but obviously take longer to get here.
I'm stuck between this phone and the Ascend Mate 7 gahh lol

Looks a nice phone too, usual pros and cons for both. Although for customisation and price I think the opo is hard to beat at the moment. I've got a nexus 5 but keep considering a opo, particularly for the battery and better camera. But will probably hold out to next year to see what opo release next. It would be nice to just buy directly from them with no messing about, but maybe that will change.
Below are another couple of great value devices also worth a look.

Your prices are spot-on, the delivery charges are £5.99 for standard and £9.99 for express. Note that it takes OPO 3 working days to process your order...
Also note that buying from APAC usually involves the buyer being liable for import taxes and VAT... which makes the phone F. expensive. And takes ages....

HTC A9 vs Xiaomi Redmi 3

What you think about the Redmi 3?
It's the better/cheaper A9 from China?
Definitely wayyyy cheaper, but the A9 has the better components to it. Better when compared to the price difference? Probably not, but still better.
If you live in a region where you can easily get the Redmi 3 and it matched your network bands, it's probably the better choice. The only region where the A9 makes sense is in North America.

The battery life is almost 100% bigger. LOL. I'm in Singapore and usually the phone will release in China itself first before making way to other countries after few months. by that time, they are ready to out another new model of redmi/note/Mi series again. with their price being so close to each other, it's hard to justify the purchase when another model is coming out soon again.

Yup. Much bigger battery.
The only problem with that line of thought is that you just never end up buying anything, as something new is always just around the horizon. If the OP needs a phone right now, the Redmi 3 offers some great bang for the buck *provided* you live in the target market. The A9 is a great device, it's just priced too high (and comes with weaker internals outside of NA).

Ya it's sgd798 which is usd554.38 for the 32GB version.
I've gotten a 16gb export version for usd329. Not a heavy user so I guess 2gb ram is good enough.
& I already got 64GB memory card standby for it.
There's only Xiaomi that price is comparable to their original market (in this case, china, because anything under $200 is dirt cheap).
Even OnePlus doesn't feel cheap over here, around usd 30-40 more expensive than US itself (the hype starts in US afterall)

Probably $799 for base model. $899 OR $999 for 8GB/512GB variant.
If Asus can sell the Zenfone 5z for $599 I think $799 is about right for the ROG. Remember, they need to SELL units. No one will buy when the price is significantly higher than the Black Shark's or Razer.

I think it's great for gamers, and anyone else that just wants a dope phone all the way around. MKBHD said about the Razer Phone, "the idea making gaming as good as possible, but as it turns out, a lot of those things also make for, pretty great, everyday use too," and I agree.

I feel like the Zenfone 5Z may be $500 or $550, only because they did say it'd be about $500. I think the 256GB model would be around $600 however.
I'm looking at it being between $800 to $999. I have heard that the ROG line is pretty expensive, and I looked it up, and it is. So I do expected it to be towards the later, than the former. But if they can get it at $999 for the 512GB model, it's a sure buy for me. I looked at their official website and it has EVERYTHING. It didn't miss anything I've ever wanted, and I feel like it's a real superphone. It also has the same camera in the 5 and 5z, which was rated very well my DxoMark, and I have checked out real world results, and they were great.
Wish it had a micro sd card.
I am in the market for a phone and this one certainly has my attention. Currently between the Sony Xperia XZ2, OnePlus 6, and this Asus ROG. Maybe by Black Friday all the phones will be available, unlocked, and rooted!!

Buy OP6 or Go Pixel 3?

Should I go ahead and buy the OP6 now or wait for the Pixel 3? I rather get a phone asap since I am tired of iOS. I can get the OP6 Silk White for $560 w/ an education discount and fast shipping.
Perks of going OP6: Fast updates, close to stock Android, mild water resistance, high end specs, affordable price, state of the art phone, works w/ T-Mobile Band 71, and will be reliable for 2-3 years from now.
Perks of going Pixel 3: Pure Android, best camera on the market in all likelihood, good enough high end specs, 3D Facial Recognition (rumored), minimal bezels w/o notch, T-Mobile could subsidize half the cost of the phone, and it could come with a 2 year warranty as well.
Thoughts?
I ordered the silk white but will sell it and wait for the P3. This is only because of the size. I'm using a P1 now and love the size so 5.3" sounds appealing. If the OP6 had one handed mode I'd be tempted to open the box.
don't you care about how small the Pixel 3 is? cus the Pixel 3XL will have an ugly giant notch and giant chin
I would grab the OnePlus 6. Pixel won't be out until October or November and the 128gb model might cost $900-$1000.
For me having the OnePlus 6 with 256gb for $200-250 less is great.
Buy now and take care of it. Lose about 20ish dollars a month. That's what I'm doing
Google phone became a total waste, complete trash after they removed audio jack 3.5, which is absolute deal breaker.
On top of it, Google phones after nexus6 are ugly as f...uck. Those HUGE bezels, retarded glass insert on the back, stupid dual speakers on the front, are not acceptable at all.
I don't understand Google seo, why they hired those completely incompetent designers.
Shame on you Google for selling garbage hardware.
Get the OP and see what the Pixel has to offer later.
Pixel 3 looks disgusting
Google is due for a stupid move. They've been holding off on really stupid features so far, they're most likely going to succumb and start wasting $400 on the MSRP on some stupid ass gimmick no one ever asked for. OnePlus 6 unquestionably.
It depends, the pixel 3 will mostly have the best camera and software support for up to the years.

I don't like the idea of the T series as they will have the Soc (SD845) at the end of it's cycle and the next SoC is just a couple months away. So you're always just buying tech that is about to be replaced while I can enjoy that new tech in the regular models for a full year.
Update:
lol sorry, Buy the OP6. Why waste all that extra cash on the pixel when you won't get better performance and marginally better camera?

But if you buy it at the end of the year it will be more refined and perfected.
I understand your point, but the sd845 is a very good SOC. And the OP6t is going to have more dev support quicker and for years to come. Besides it's still going to cost hundreds less than a Pixel 3 XL and the P3xl notch is the size of Tennessee.

Tcl 10l 128gb @ $190

So since the dawn of the S6, I've been a huge Samsung fan (and we don't need to go into why I believe that Samsung is the best, that's not why I came here), and I'm also a true Note lover because of the stylus. So my Note literally fell from a 13th-floor balcony and got destroyed, talk about luck and number 13 ?, thank god I had a complete cloud backup of my phone's data and It was just a couple of days old, so no data was lost.
I'm using an ancient backup phone I had just for now until I decide what phone will I buy, but of course, I'm not going to buy a new Note, I plan to buy a mid-range phone so that I can do all my daily tasks, I use my phone a lot at work especially when I'm out of the office for calls, emails, PDF viewing, WhatsApp and Skype besides that there's social media consumption, web browsing, some amateur photography (I'm not a professional), music streaming, youtube, 9gag and light gaming like Egg Inc. and wait for the S21 or whatever Samsung decides to name it.
So I've found out that the TCL 10L 128GB is up for $190 where I am right now so I thought that it's a good idea to buy this one considering the specs and the price.
So my question is at $190 is the TCL 10L 128GB a good phone for the tasks I mentioned above considering It'll only be used until the S21 arrival?

For that price range you could get a better phone, like the Xiaomi Poco X3. It has a bigger battery, a better processor, better benchmark scores in general. And it's around 180€, and since you're buying the next samsung, it'd be better not spending too much.

Well the Poco X3 is $285 where I am now, and I'm on a budget since I'm on a business trip in another country. That's why I liked the 10L offer because is very inexpensive considering the other phones with the same specs.
And since I need a phone ASAP and won't be using it for more than 4 months I thought it would do fine.
So If the X3 is out will the 10L do fine handling my tasks for the time being considering the price.
