I have the VS835 LG Stylo 2 V, Verizon edition, and as soon as Nougat was available, it was installed, but immediately it caused problems. I have since downgraded back to 6.0.1 (VS83511B)
The problems I experienced with the original, and 2 replacement devices, were bluetooth, wi-fi and SIM.
Bluetooth, would randomly disconnect or not connect to devices.
Wi-fi, would do the same as Bluetooth.
SIM, would randomly say no SIM installed.
To "fix" Bluetooth or wi-fi, either toggle airplane mode or reboot.
To "fix" SIM requires rebooting.
Verizon would always say the Bluetooth and wi-fi devices needed updated, that it wasn't the phone. Even though every other devices connected to the same devices, would work just fine.
Since downgrading, I have not had any issues with anything.
Has anyone else had issues like these with the Nougat updates?

I’ve received my One on Monday. It’s working very well except it won’t connect to the Wi-Fi network at my work place.
1) The phone connects without problems to my Wi-Fi at home
2) I have the exact same Wi-Fi settings for the work network than the ones on my other android phone which was connecting just fine to this network.
I’ve rooted the phone but otherwise I’ve not changed either the ROM or the kernel.Any idea what might cause this or what I could do to fix it?
I had trouble keeping a bluetooth connection with my Sony Smartwatch 3 and LG G3. The devices worked fine via WiFi but not over bluetooth after the initial setup. So after contacting Sony support(waste of time) and hunting online line for a solution I fixed it by turning off the bluetooth then turning it back on. It connection via bluetooth right away. I then changed a setting in the phone to not ask me to connect to that device. I'm guessing that's the same as auto connect. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm posting this mainly to help others since I THINK the problem is resolved.
I think i have exactly the same problem, but my G3 is unbranded from PL distribution, with freshly installed Marshmallow.
I can't tell anything more yet because i have my SWR50 since 3 hours...
Alright so I've run into an issue here. I just got a net ISP last night and so hooked up my own modem and router (I had TDS before). I set everything to run the way I used to at my previous home, WPA2 Personal, Wireless N Only, 20 or 40hz auto setting, auto DHCP, etc. Everything is connecting and working just fine except for my wife's LG G4.
The phone is only a couple of months old. My 1.5 year old LG G3 (running Cyanogenmod) connects to the wireless n only network with no issues. However her phone simply refuses to connect. It sees the network fine but just won't ever attempt to connect to it. It just 'saves' the network info.
I've tried rebooting the router, rebooting the phone, powering off the phone, pulling the battery, disabling network security, changing the channel from 20/40 to just 20hz, etc. Nothing I do will make this G4 connect to the wireless n only network. The only way I can get it to connect is to drop the wireless signal down from n-only to "mixed". Once it's set to "mixed", the G4 connects instantly.
Anyone else run into this issue? I know that the phone itself is supposedly rated for 802.11ac, along with 802.11n, g, etc. but it seems like there must be some sort of software config preventing it from connecting to n only since my G3 has no issues, but is running a custom rom.
Thoughts or ideas? I'd really like to get n only working as I'll be upgrading my modem pretty soon and will be pulling 110mbps down from my ISP.
Thanks!
Hello everyone!
I have a Motorola g7 power xt1955-4 reteu2.
In the last two months, I got an issue with my wifi connectivity. My phone is Connected to the hotspot of another smartphone. And it frequently disconnects from wifi. It works after I turn off and then turn back on the wifi.
But I have to do this each time.
I uploaded two screenshots, to see how my wifi menu looks like.
I did a network reset.
I uploaded two bugreports.
And the issue is the same on motorola g7 power.
Besides, I connected to my hotspot another device (a computer with wifi usb), alongside motorola g7. When my motorola wifi got disconnected again, the wifi icon from my computer showed no problem.
I also connected another phone to that hotspot. The wifi remained connected while motorola's wifi got disconnected.
Which means the issue is only at motorola wifi, not the hotspot.
As I remember, it only has this issue since the last update.
Besides the wifi issue, I remember that two times my phone stopped responding and I needed to restart it.
It is updated to the last version, I think.
I have build number QPOS30.52-29-7-5
I turned off the constantly scanning for wifi and bluetooth devices, but the issue is the same.
What would you suggest?
Thanks in advance for your answer.
Hi, I've got an unlocked bootloader, and I'm on Android 10. I have disabled it from automatically updating.
I am having an issue with Wi-Fi and USB tethering. Everything appears to work, except none of my hotspot clients are able to connect online. With the exact same sim card, in my old phone (Motorola Z2 Force) I have used tethering with no issues, so I do not believe that it is an issue with my carrier.
Has anyone run into this obstacle while using the stock ROM?
