Any ideas ??? BIOS chip needs reprogramming???

Hi there. I have this model. Have you ever tried to turn on with a HDMI output plugged in? In my case it works. But the bios I'm still looking for

Hello! Recently got the tab. C2D8. Couldn't turn it on, the screen remained black. Thought the tab is dead, but it wasn't. plugged into dc outlet, usb tester showed charge. Then installed the drivers and when connected to pc it appeared in device manager. Put it into dnx mode, flashed firmware. Didn't help. Lastly connected it with hdmi to TV, and there came the picture. The tab screen is very dull, brightness wa set to max, though. Is there a software solution, or is it a hardware defect and should be sent back?

Hi. Same happens to me with Teclast X98 Plus II C2D4.
I need to plug my TV through HDMI. Boots in black screen on the tablet but it's ok on TV.
Android runs with very low brightness on tablet screen but Win10 runs ok. Screen looks perfect on the tablet.
So any possible solution?
Thanks.

Hi, did you find a solution to this issue?
I still have the same problem.
Thanks.

[Q] Hdmi out and unresponsive screen?

I have a very strange issue.
I have rooted + bootstrap/cwm, 5.5.1-edem-28.
Issue is, when ever I plug only the hdmi or hdmi+charger in, the screen basiccally refuses to work with touch.
But if I plug hdmi+usb (to laptop etc), touch works perfectly fine.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
Rom is basically stock except removing some Telecom apps and moto-chinese/english keyboard.
I may reflash system to see if any of the keyboard apps were required... But still strange....
Well.... I flashed and wiped completely back to stock. (grrrrr)...
No change, still only have touch response with hdmi only if usb laptop plugged in.
Not, even, with, ps3 usb plugged in...

[Q] Tf300t not turning on since yesterday, is it bricked? Please help!!

I left my Tf300t to charge yesterday morning and when I came back later, it was fully charged but the screen was blank. I tried to turn it back on by many methods: I tried the "soft reset" method and also poked into the microphone slot to reset it.
But the tablet is not turning on. It turned off by itself yesterday and hasn't turned back on since. I'm clueless and out of ideas. Please help!
When I connect to the computer, it does show up and I can access the files, so I'm still a bit hopeful. I haven't done any tinkering on it(no root or anything, it's on stock) so I'm really confused by what happened!
Please help!!
Sounds like the display. It IS on if you can connect and access the file system.
Still Charged Up

Do you mean that the display might be corrupted? Shouldn't the tablet still make some sound as I've tried to restart it multiple times? Please provide more suggestions about what I can do, not having my tablet is driving me crazy!
Couldn't it be a software issue? Is there any way I can check through my computer?
try to connect it to a pc via hdmi and see if this is working. Than you should no that is is the display.
Since you can't see anything I would think the only sound you might hear is the ding from charging. You can't see what you're trying to launch so you really can't force a sound. The tablet is whisper quiet when no audio present.
Still Charged Up
Is there any way to check it without HDMI cable? I don't have one.3

[Q] HDMI stops working after a minute

I bought a mini-HDMI to HDMI converter (just the plug) to connect my cheap no-brand tablet (based on Rockchip 2928) to my TV.
It works for about a minute after booting, but then the image disappears and the TV shows "no signal". The tablet's screen stays off, until I disconnect the HDMI cable, then the tablet's screen comes back on. When I plug the HDMI back in, the tablet's screen goes black, but I get no image on the TV.
The only way to get it to work again is to power down the tablet and power it back up, then it works again for a minute.
I tried three different HDMI cables and two TV's. The tablet is fully charged and plugged in. I tried it with WiFi turned off, but that did not work either.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

Android Auto USB disconnections

Hello everyone,
I'm writing this topic because I've an annoying problem with my OnePlus One, which is a wonderful compagnion fr everyday life.
Recently I bought a brand new Seat Ibiza, loaded with an infotainment system, with Android Auto, MirrorLink and Apple Car connectivity. Android Auto works greatly BUT from the beginning, I've got an issue with this. When I plug the OPO to the car via USB, all works great, and randomly (but often after 30 minutes), the OPO seems to shutdown the USB port. I think the problem is on the OPO side because when I unplug the USB cable on the car side, that have no effect, but when I do the same on the OPO, the connection restart and Android Auto start again.
I've tried with USB Debugging, Charge mode only, MTP mode, with another cables ... Many things but nothing that really works fine, with COS 12.1 and now with COS 13. Sometime, the headunit display a message "verify your smartphone, it seems that the device is locked" but all the screen locks are OFF, and in the Automobile system profile, I've told him to NOT lock the phone.
Anyone have an idea of the problem ?
Thank you for your answers :good:
I'm seeing the same issue...

I'm seeing the same issue with my OPO, and I have not yet been able to fix it. I've read threads that said turn on USB Debugging and turn Battery Optimization off for Android Auto. The best I've come up with is using the original OPO USB cable and leaving it loose, but even this has only minimized the issue.

MI TV stick self turn on after latest update

Hi.
I've checked 3 pcs of Mi TV stick - each time after updating to latest update the stick is turning on by itself in 20 seconds after turning off by remote.
The new piece from box before update is ok, after installing latest update same issue. Does Xiaomi knows some solution to this bug?

I have the same problem bro. Still not found the solution.
I got the solution - at least that worked for me. The problem was with charging adapter from xiaomi phone. When stick was charged from PC USB slot then no problem with turning on by itself. It seems those sticks need power from low voltage sources like PC USB or TV USB (that I didnt check). Try it.
In my case there is no difference. TV Stick turning on by itself no matter if it was in TV USB, PC USB or plugged in charged which came in package.
It was my 2nd TV Stick because 1st was sended back because of classic problem with remote - losing connection and you need to unplug the device.
Unfortunately I have same issue with latest PI.1727. It's not able to stay in standby. On my side I'm sure it's a reason of updated hdmi-cec code. Once upon a time I was able to shutdown both tv and stick with a single button click. It's a dream now. I wish we were able to downgrade firmware.
Same issue on brand new Mi TV Stick updated to PI.1727. It wakes up with no reason.
Same issue here. I can shutdown MiStick + Tv, but I can't turn on both devices from remote using HDMI-CEC.
And both devices turn on automatically every day at same hour.
