Device Administrator Locked Device - Huawei Mate 9 Questions & Answers

I downgraded from Orea this week, and now I keep getting the message in subject line and can't figure out why. It's inconsistent...maybe 60% of the time.
I found one thread on the topic with this answer:
login to your Google account through the web. accounts.google.com, and remove the remote lock

I find no such setting in my Google account settings.
Any thoughts?

[Q]Zune Installation Problem

i download two different installer from zune, but both showing me something like that.
can any1 help me out? thanks a lot guys.
Did you already try searching for the error code listed, or clicking the links in the error message? The error code states that you have some essential services disabled on your computer that help with the updating of your system. These should be turned on.
Try a Google search for tons of solutions.

Not the download button, the microsoft support link, or punch the error code into Google/Bing to get a long list of results and solutions.

any solution?
You have update services disabled.
If your Windows is a pirated copy, as you seem to be suggesting,
"btw, do we have to install zune on genuine window?"
you probably have the update services disabled to hide your illegal copy from the Microsoft servers. Unfortunately, you need the update services to install certain windows options and services, like ZUNE.
I suggest you get a legal copy of windows.

[Q] Amazon App Store Not Working?

I am running Miui 1.9.2 with Trinity 2.6.32.45 kernel and when I try to sign into the Amazon App Store I get this message..."There was a temporary error signing you in. Please try again in a few moments..." I know that it is the right email and password. I also uninstalled it and re-installed it and I still keep getting that. Any one else having this issue with the Amazon App Store?
I can't remember where I saw it, but do a google search for that error. If you flash your phone a lot you will get this because each time you flash Amazon thinks it's a new device and there is a limit on the number of devices (20 I think). There was a link in one of my searches that takes you to a page that you can delete devices off of your account. Once I did that it started working. I'll see if I can find it for you.
EDIT: Go here. Sign in and on the left you will see a link for your devices. Deregister some devices and you should be good to go.

Duplicated devices on Location History

Hello. Since updated to Google Play Services 7.xxx I just realized this.
As screenshot attached, my device shows up as 2 devices. How to remove device at the bottom?
Had already dig in on Google Dashboard, delete here and there, no luck.
Thanks for the help.
Do u have multiple users on this device enabled?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
No. Even guest mode.
Now it getting worse. My OCD senses are tingling...
Here's mine. Not sure what the hell is going on with play services.

Yes but I've always chosen to continue from a backup in the setup screen. I figured it would keep the data the same. All these duplicates might be why Google Fit hasn't worked for weeks for me.

For me 8 March is from upgraded to 5.1 and 12 March is from factory reset. That's it.
It seems that even make additional copies.
From my theory is every factory reset we make new DNS host name for our device. Maybe that's the culprit.

I don't think it's a biggie. It happens to me quite often, usually when I flash a new or updated ROM. External services will detect that as a different device when I connect.
My guess would be every time you flash and sign in with google it creates a new android ID. Thus google thinks it's a new device linked to the same account. I have location history turned off so I'm not seeing this behavior. One thing to try is Titanium. It has a feature that allows you to restore android ID from a backup. Menu/manage android ID. Create a new one and see if it adds another device to location history. If it does that's the source of the issue. Then you just have to figure out how to flash the ROM and gapps and restore a previous ID before signing in.
As much as I have been flashing lately and looking at my list it seems that the date the duplicates started was when play services 7.0 released. Otherwise everyone on XDA would have a massive list from clean flashing ROMs. It's almost like the same issue with the set up screen. If you choose set up as new device too much sometimes the servers stop updating your back up.
This is pretty annoying, I have close to 20 entries... I am flashaholic.. .
Will try out the TiBu with update zip and see if it resolves the issues.
Google need to fix this.
Hello,
Did Google fix this issue on nexus device ? Because i'm having it on my Note 3 (SM-N9005)...
Really annoying.

Apparently no. Still have >1 month old entries and still not deleted.
nO..........but I really really really wish there was a way to fix this. I really really really wish there was a one button kill all to wipe ALL history of EVERYTHING from the server to start fresh. Currently you can wipe backups, location history, and Google Fit data but there is no way to remove these device entries.
same here but don't know what it's disadvantages to us
deleting all data in /data/data/com.google.android.gms causes this too... I have 4 devices in the list now... the problem is that they are stored in the google account and not on the phone.
Google should allow to delete old entries. Also this messes up things in GMS.
I am trying to contact google for this but it's hard.
Also, deleting that directory seems to fix the problem with google play service eating the battery.
Got the same problem with you guys, and still haven't found the solution yet.
Please update here if there's someone who knows to resolve this issue..

[Q] Somebody else's phone is syncing with my google account

So under the "Devices and Acitivty" section of my Google account it shows that a Galaxy Nexus is syncing with chrome. The funny thing is that I don't have a Galaxy Nexus nor do any of my friends. After I changed my google password, it is still syncing which is weird because all my other devices were logged off and there is no way anybody could have guessed my password. As you can see in the screenshot, I don't have the option to remove account access from this Galaxy Nexus unlike my Nexus 5. I have also checked "dashboard" and "account permissions" and "android device management" sections and this Galaxy Nexus isn't listed under any of them.
I have already posted to google product forums, but no one has a solution.
If anyone knows how I can prevent this phone from accessing my google account, I would be very appreciative.
Change your account password? Enable 2-step auth?

I already have 2-step auth. And in the op I already said that I changed the password 24 hours ago, yet it is still syncing after that.

The galaxy nexus doesn't appear on device manager, it is only listed under Devices and Activity.

Isn't that device one of yours but because of some build.prop editing somehow it became a Galaxy Nexus?

But I haven't edited build.prop. I just double checked and its definitely a Nexus 5 not a galaxy Nexus. Plus, I'm using chrome 41.0 not 34.0.

try to run a virus scanner on your PC and remove every suspicious app from your devices, Maybe you have a keylogger on one of your devices or on your PC. I cant think of anything else.
After everything you tried not working, I would contact Google support.

How do I contact Google support? Their helpcenter doesn't have any method of direct contact and I've already tried asking on Google's product forums which yields no results.

Huawei's Find My Device App?

I assume Google's Find My Device app will not work on the Mate 30 Pro (unless USA ban against Huawei gets lifted).
I also can't find an app like it in AppGallery.
So, does anyone have a recommendation that would help me if I misplace my phone or it gets stolen?

If you have installed Google services, "find my device" from Google will work right.
If not, in device's settings of your Huawei Account you have an option in the synchronization of the Cloud where there is a Huawei app also called "find my device".
Thanks, I tried it out, and it worked perfectly.
I had disabled Cloud cause it was asking me for
a chat ID when I first got the phone...I didn't see
any purpose until now.

It is true that if you have google the app finds my device it will work but not perfectly because if you try to make it ring once you are logged in it does not work you will find the device but the notification that it is hooked to the phone does not appear.
On second thought, I am still open to other apps. The problem I have is that I usually keep location services off
to save power (so my Cloud ping today only gave me the location it knew of way back on April 24, but that is
to be expected I guess). It would be nice if the phone kind of registered itself on its own every so often, even
with just my IP address in case no location updates were made, but of course that uses power too...so maybe
I'll just start keeping location services on.
I am also looking for a best huawei device finder app.
