[Q] HTC Sensation not receiving call while active GPRS

Hi,
I just bought HTC Sensation yesterday and now noticed a problem that I am unable to receive calls while using/active data connection i.e. GPRS. Earlier I had Incredible S with the same problem and changed my handset thinking that this might be a problem with the device.
Is there any solution available? Please advise, I'll be really grateful.
Thanks.

If you're getting the "G" that is GPRS and that means you're in really poor coverage (no EDGE or 3G+).
GPRS and EDGE are not simultaneous sessions meaning that it's DATA or CALL, but not both at the same time (unlike 3G+ data).
Usually the CALL overrides data but in some situations DATA will override the call. Try moving back to a regular coverage area where you can get 3G+ and you'll be fine.

[UK][Q] T Mobile (EE/Orange?) Signal Problems

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I don't usually come in the General section, but I was wondering if anyone else has the same problem as me.
Currently, I'm getting no reception with my T Mobile SIM in my S3. I know it's not a phone problem because my o2 SIM works perfectly fine. I can turn the phone on with the T Mobile SIM in and I'll have signal and all calls, texts and internet work. But a few minutes later the H+ icon changes to 3G with only the green outgoing arrow flashing for a few minutes. Then it'll just go off. I'll still have 3 bars of signal and the notification drop down still says EE. Is anybody else getting this problem, or just the area I'm in?

India - Airtel 3g getting disconnected during call

I'm using airtel 3g in India. Whenever I'm connected to 3g and I get/make a call, the data doesn't work.
Is anyone else facing the same problem? Due to this, I can't use maps, whatsapp, true caller or anything for internet while driving and talking.
It wasn't the issue some 4 months back. I have experienced the same in htc one max, moto g, lenovo vibe z2 pro, oneplus one and some more mobiles. ExperimenTed with Vodafone as well.
3g is supposed to work during calls also right? Is it limited to airtel alone or is it the same with aircel, idea and docomo?
Thanks in advance!

contact Airtel Customer Care and tell them your problem....
Tried that. They said you can't access data over 3g while on a call. Only differentiator between 2g and 3g is the speed difference. I tried explaining the details of 3g, but he told it doesn't allow data while on call!

lol ...that is a funny answer. well the meaning of 3G is mobile broadband. well mean you can use data along with phone line. in simplest terms. i used airtel 3g in haryana and using it from last many years. also used in delhi in early days. always able to use it along with call. even truecaller works one same principle it shows your caller name on 3g connection because its necessary to have a 3g or wifi for it to work. well call again and ask the representative to let you speak to senior representative. :good:
Well, I managed some debugging on my own and figured out that issue is due to the access point settings. Changed some parameters and now I get slow internet while on call atleast!
The default settings I get won't allow me to get data while on call!
Can someone whose data works properly share their access point details? If airtel that is!

6616 on ATT?

Just picked up a Z3 on swappa. Loving the phone so far. Issue Im having is after getting APN setting from my S6 it connects to 4g lte..but, if I turn on and off wifi or make a call it reverts to 4g and will not go back without a reboot. Reboot and I get 4g lte again. From reading it sounds like this model is missing a band for att. But why will it connect then reconnect. Anyone using this on att and have a fix?
Thanks
Also curious to know... Having additional issues surrounding replying to group (mms) messages as well

S10e 9700 LTE connection issue

Hi,
I recently recieved my G9700 and until now I'm quite happy - apart of some connection issues.
At home I get 2 or 3 bars 4G after log in. Then after some time this changes to H/H+ or even down to E, but never changes up again.
So every loss of connection speed is permanent until next log in.
Am I the only one having this?
Are there possible solutions?
Thanks,
Derk

It could be either a hardware fault or network issue. You need to run some diagnostics. Change sim card to another network carrier and see if issues persist. Also the first thing to check is your APN settings before anything else.
