We all know, the Chinese clone phone market is certainly not a secret. From the Galaxy S8 to the latest iPhone X, all major manufacturers sooner or later end up with a cheap counterpart. Today, nothing less than the Huawei Mate 10, the latest high-end Chinese giant. Lol, Today I will introduce the Meiigoo mate 10.
After presenting the Meiigoo note8, according to rumors, it seems that the Chinese manufacturer is preparing to launch his new work. The Meiigoo Mate10 as you can see by its very name will be a clone of the Huawei Mate 10. Given its special back cover of the latest Chinese high-end manufacturers, we are not surprised that another company “is lets inspire “by his style. The new smartphone would appropriate everything (or almost everything) the back of his illustrious colleague.
But what will be the specifications of the new device? From the sounds of hallways, it seems that this Meiigoo Mate10 will arrive with a display in 18: 9, in line with the rest of contemporary smartphones. Under the hood, we should find a MediaTek Helio P23 chipset, a solution already tested with the Mali-G71 MP2 GPUs. The SoC will likely be supported by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. In addition, it seems that the newcomer will be able to offer up to 4 photo sensors. For the moment, the official specifications have not yet been published (or even a hypothetical launch date).

Back in January, rumors of a possible Huawei Honor X2 successor started to pop out. According with previous rumors, the tablet named as Huawei Honor X3, would be unveiled during CES packing a nice set of specs. However it was a no show until the most recent leaks at TENAA.
Originally, we were expecting the device to come with 6.2-inch 2K device, Kirin 950 processor alongside 4GB of Ram and 64GB of Storage. Previous benchmarks also suggested Android 6.0 in a newer version of EMUI. We cannot say what happened with the device on those leaks, but we got a different picture in the TENAA Honor X3 documentation.
According to TENAA, the Huawei Honor X3 boasts a larger 7-inch display with 1920×1200 resolution. The horsepower is given with the use of Snapdragon 615, a quite old and deprecated choice in 2016; Huawei could at least consider the 616 version that fixes all the problems found in the 615, other specs include 2GB of Ram and 16GB of Storage.
The Huawei Honor X3 also comes with a generous 13MP rear camera and 5MP unit on the front. We also found the presence of a fingerprint scanner on device’s border, just below power button, a new placement that we are seeing more often this year. Finally, the device houses a 4320mAh battery to provide enough juice to run out the specs.
Hey bark,
Thanks for posting this. In my opinion, these specs seem highly unrealistic and under par even in comparison to the current X2. I'll gamble and say the specs for the X3 will be much better than the ones quoted in this article...
ya maybe they might have a lite and a pro version for x3. and this one could be of lite.
A Snapdragon processor means there will probably be a CM based rom for it in the future.
Snapdragon means NO Dual Sim Full Active.... So I have to look to other device.

My Mi Max has a Snapdragon 652 and is DSDS.
With no P8 Max or Sony Ultra successor, where to go for 6'8" size Phablets?
I'm panicked. It's a dead breed!
Yeah that sucks no P9max
Lenovo Phab Plus any good?
I am a proud P8 Max user (the international variant) and I am disappointed that the P9 Max did not get released.I am also pleased that it did get released because I have only recently purchased my P8 Max and I am pretty happy with it and would not even consider getting a Samsung S7 Edge or the P9 Plus or any of the Ipants versions.
Also, as a former user of the Xperia Z Ultra, this phone is on a completely different quality level. As for the Lenovo Phab Plus, I don't think it compares to the P8 Max in terms of quality and spec so I would buy the P8 Max again with my eyes closed over the Phab Plus or X Z Ultra or even the LeTV Le Max/Pro 6.33".
The important question here is did someone lie about the P9 Max existence? Why did all the tech blogs fail to give accurate information or gave almost confirmed information? Was Oppomart the web site that claimed to have unveiled the specs at 6.2" inch display when subsequent rumours claimed 6.8" inches did it as a scam to promote their site?
Clearly, either Huawei decided at the last minute to postpone the launch to gatecrash the release of Samsung Note 6 in September or as suggested it has been discontinued as a series. Lets hope I am wrong about some of the statements I am making and that some good news will emerge but for now I think all the so called tech/mobile experts have failed miserably even at rumour level.
Do we need a successor to the P8 Max? Possibly yes in an ideal world but I strongly think the developer community priority should be to start developing quality roms for this precious handset and the legacy of this device will last many years think of it as the HTC HD2 for the Phablet lovers. This way we would not even need to hope for a better model when this one almost ticks all the boxes (except the lack of IR blaster and NFC support).
Thats all that is needed for this phone/the ultimate REAL phablet.
On a separate note, I was looking to put my P8 Max DAV-701L Titanium Grey on sale if the successor was announced but I guess I have to put that thought on hold. Lets see what the future holds.
Yeah i don't get it. Many websites had the specs for the P9max. Now they all changed it to the P9 Plus. There is a big difference between 6,8 and 5,5 inch.
Also gsmarena changed it :s
http://www.gsmarena.com/huawei_p9_max-7745.php
I still hope the P9max comes unannounced, like the P9 Lite:

I'm also looking at the new Letv Max Pro X910 6.33-Inch. The specs looks good.

Just saw the Mate 8 in the store here. Phone looks great and front finaly in black but its 6 inch So i still need to think about it.
Looks like there will be a P9 Max after all. If this supports full LTE on T-Mobile in the US you bet i'll be buying one:

Yeah! Saw that P9 Max 6'9" screen info!
Sadly, I'm positive there be no LTE frequencies for T-Mobile..
It's just been a Huawei guarantee!
Been using in US? HSPU? How's that been for you?

I am using it with LTE enabled on the Three and Vodafone UK networks and the reception and 4G is really good (coverage dependant). Also, as I have the international model, the overall operation is really good and smooth and call drops etc I used to experience on same networks with Samsung handsets is non existent.

There will be full US LTE support, same as the Mate 8.
Hi, I believe the next big thing is a dual screen of 6.8 inch each as one phone the same size as p8 max. There was conspiricy to cover up with NEC's dual screen phone that had combined screen area smaller than p8 max's single 6.8 screen. I have said too much and endangered my own career. You need a blue tooth keyboard one in home, one in car, one in office. And the thing will be the last laptop you ever have to buy.
I hope P9 Max release...

Mobile phones Recommended for 2016
According to the Antutu note, there are several recommendable mobiles.
The first one is oneplus 3T, with Snapdragon 821 processor and the note reaches 162,000. Then is Huawei mate 9, it is favorite for traders. As for the sound, is Vivo Xplay 6, not only with curved screen, also equipped the new ES9038 Hi- Fi chip. What more? Is the xiaomi mix, the screen occupies 91.3%, it advances a lot in tecnology. Finally, with the best design, it is Meizu Pro6.
What do you think is the best cell phone?
Here's all you need to know about OnePlus 6 launch and specifications
There have been several rumours about OnePlus 6‘s launch date, with the most recent one claiming it to be on May 21. It turns out, this date wasn’t far off, as the Chinese company has just confirmed that the OnePlus 6 will meet us officially on May 17 in China. This finally puts a rest to the conflicting release dates suggested by different rumours in the past couple of weeks.
Now that the launch date is confirmed, we can finally focus on the other aspects of the device. The OnePlus 6 is confirmed to feature a glass body with round corners, different from the all metal design adorned by the previous flagships. This should also pave way for Wireless Charging support, a first for a OnePlusflagship device. The glass body has been reportedly selected among 70 different prototypes and the final product will feature 5 layers of nanotech coating to give a better feel of depth on the rear glass as compared to competitors.
Coming to the specs, the OnePlus 6 is almost confirmed to feature a notch up front on its 6-inch AMOLED display. Other rumored specs of the device include Snapdragon 845, 3450mAh battery, 8GB RAM, 128GB / 256GB ROM options, and a 16+20MP rear dual cameras.
The OnePlus 6 release date in India was said to be May 18 according to a recent report from Money Control. With the official launch in China set for May 17, this date doesn’t seem to be far off. However, it is worth adding that OnePlus had officially reached out to us stating that this release date was false. So, we’ll have to wait for an official confirmation from the company for the India launch date of the OnePlus 6.
Note that the OnePlus 6’s China launch conference tickets will go on sale from April 27 at 10AM.
And now, an additional official info says there Will be an event in London the 16th to introduce the oneplus 6 : https://www.gizchina.com/2018/04/25/oneplus-6-global-launch-event-set-for-may-16/ and the official teaser https://twitter.com/oneplus/status/989048462758109185
I can't find anything which says whether or not the phone will have a micro sd card slot. Does anyone know either way?

It most likely will not.
Jhn
Oneplus 6 will be available to buy straight away after premiere 16 may?
Or we will have to wait few days?
How it was with for example 5t?
Full specs
The listing informs us that the phone will be powered by a 2.45GHz octa-core chipset, undoubtedly the Snapdragon 845, 6GB of RAM, and will have 64GB of native storage. That's certainly the most basic version of the phone, which will likely feature a souped-up version with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. A 3,300mAh battery will keep all of the lights going strong hopefully for a full day of usage in the least.
Further down the line, the device is listed as having a large 6.28-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 by 2280 pixels which works out a 19:9 aspect ratio. Although it's not listed in the TENAA listing, we know for a fact that the device will also feature a display notch - it's just how phones roll these days.
In the rear, we find a dual camera combo consisting of 20 and 16MP snappers whereas the selfie camera is listed as being a 16MP one. In terms of size and dimensions, the OnePlus 6 will likely measure up at 155.7×75.35×7.75mm and tip the scales at 177gr. Android 8.1 will be running the show; we expected nothing less.
Cameras will be the same like in 5T? How do you think?
@Gramzz
According to rumors the 20MP and 16M are the same as on 5T but they will use a new sensor on 6 with the same MP.

also better SOC that should balance the bigger screen and battery. it would equal to 5t, in that case, it should be good enough not to forget Dash charge V2.
Will it have OIS for the cameras?

Just dropping these here...
Ah, a pretty invite.
Hi all..
I've just bought a Nokia 7Plus and love it's updates cycle among many other things.
But now I feel I should have waited for OP6 ( my earlier phone had broken in April and thought OP6 would come after June end).
Just one question-
How is the security updates cycle of OnePlus?
Do they make you wait like Honor and HTC or are they better?
Thanks
can someone comment on the camera?
what will it be comparable too?
i bought the p20 pro because of the camera specs very nice on paper, more than not it takes really nice photos.
i hope the oneplus 6 can rival it, if it does ill be purchasing and selling the p20 pro
Will there definitely be a 8Gb/256Gb version upon launch ?
According to 'leaked' German Amazon website: OnePlus 6 will have OIS, and Super Slow-mo, with SD845. Base modell price: 520€, 8/128 570€. There were no information about any 256GB modell. Maybe it's the Avangers special?

Any info on the camera sensor?
I'm using a p20 pro
Wondering if its worth changing, main deciding factor is the camera, if camera is comparable or better I'd definitely swap my p20 pro
I guess I'm not the only one around with an old good Mate 20x waiting patiently for this year's new phones revelation firmly determined to upgrade.
And I did some research. I don't want to replace the phone for something worse. I'm not into such a big screen anymore, I prefer something lighter and more ready for one hand manipulation.
There is not much available or coming to the higher class. According to reviews, Galaxy S20 has problems with the main camera, besides Exynos for non-US markets lags significantly behind Qualcomm and it is overpriced. Note is not substantially different. Oppo seems to finish this year's production, its Find X2 pro is currently the best choice but it still has software problems. There is an interesting new kid in the block - Vivo X50 pro plus, but Vivo is so slow regarding system upgrades that is wise to forget it. Otherwise there is another mighty product in the market - Xiaomi Mi 10 pro, its's really ugly according to today's standards and the global software is buggy.
Sure, there are bunch of Huawei phones from Mate 30 pro 5g to P40 pro+, they are still actual and reliable. And a new pair Mate 40 and 40 pro are coming. It's now confirmed and some of their characteristics are known already:
1. Both phones are coming wth curved screens, Mate 40 pro with a waterfall 1080p OLED 90Hz display in dimensions between 6.7 to 6.8 inches, which is just right for my new orientation. The displays of the Chinese manufacturer BOE have been chosen by Huawei for its next high-end smartphone, namely the Mate 40 . The most powerful version of the terminal, the Mate 40 Pro , will have three companies as official suppliers: Samsung Display, LG Display and the aforementioned BOE.
2. They might have 24 and 32MP selfie snappers and Mate 40 phone might have triple settings in the back camera with main 50MP RYBY, 16MP ultra-wide, 3x optical zoom lens respectively, while the Mate 40 Pro version comes with 4 sensors main and wide 50MP RYBY, 5X periscope and a ToF sensor.
3. The battery of phones will have the capacity of 4500-5000 mAh with the support of 66W fast charging technology, and 40W wireless charging.
4. As we already expected both phones come with EMUI 11 on the base of Android 11 (without GMS) and are rumoured to round late September/ Chinese language Nationwide day which falls on October 1, 2020.
5. There are more improvements already speculated as outstanding performance, 5G capabilities, system optimization, ID design, unique features like remote thermometer.

All these are good news but there are bad too. Both models supposed to be equipped with the new 5 millimeter SoC dubbed as Kirin 1000/1020. But we know that the producer of this chip TSMC stopped receiving orders on May 15 and all due Kirins must be taken over till September 15 according to the US trade ban. There are rumors that Huawei didn't assure enough chips and that deliverable quantity could only cover 80% of expected Mate production. Not to mention that Huawei might want to save some of these chips for next year's P50 models. Hence the Kirin supposed to be intended only for Chinese market, global Mate 40 phones might come with Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ SoC (Samsung's dual chips policy). What looks like a bad joke: Dimensity 1000+ is not a 5mm chip, it's not equivalent Kirin 1000/1020, it's even well below Snapdragon 865. Make no mistake: in 2021 5g becomes something that makes a difference between phones.
And there is more. The most important improvements of Android 11 seems to be 5g and electronic id documents support (together with car keys replacement). The end of China - US trade war is nowhere in horizon. On the contrary - the CCP aggressive attitude toward China neighbours is bound to bring even greater restrictions. Huawei is working hard to attract developers to its app store but more and more Chinese apps are blacklisted every day. There is not only GMS outage to consider (it could even be bypassed), the growing limitations of use Huawei products puts the new Huawei phones on the risky side.
The bummer is that Huawei is so highly above the rest in R&D investments that there is hardly any decent competition. We'll see what might bring Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro+ and Nokia 9.3 if they are real.
For me there is no upgrade path from 20X.
Maybe ROG Phone 3 if the cameras are great but other than that idk

This is how I feel as well. If Huawei would of simply allowed launcher changes on my phone (china phone) and bootloader unlock so I could eventually move to lineageos it would be perfect. It's one of the only phones that didn't slow after a short time. I feel like once the security updates run out I'm hosed due to not being able to update it to another room.
