i have tried to restore a stock rom on my huawei honor 3c according to codelovers tutorial.
after few seconds this error message was shown: "S_FT_FORMAT=FAIL(4010)format flash error"
and from now on my phone doesn't boot.
i turn it on and all ~25 Seconds it vibrates. the display was dark. nothing happens.
You see the problem at this video at 8:49: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3TmXtOA0IA
my phone reconnects allways.
i have tryed different hotkeys.
the hotkeys for the recover or upload mode does not work and my computer and laptop doesn't recognize my handy.
so i have no chance to use sp flash tool or any other software.
Has my huawei honor 3c a meta mode?
I have this version: V100R001CHNC00B627
Where can i find a stock rom with scatter?
is there any chance to rescue my phone?
thank you for help.
Merry Christmas
i have found this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3TmXtOA0IA and have updated my problem in the first post.

Hello Guys,
I have a Huawei Ascend G730 (Model: HUAWEI G730-U10). No boot, No power up, No nothing, but when plugged in a computer, the computer detects it. It detects it as an MTK Device.
I tried flashing it with SP FLASH Tools (I used at least 5 roms), all failed. It's an SP FLASH Error (“BROM ERROR : S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (0xFC0) ).
I tried searching for results on the interwebs but to no avail.
I also saw this (https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/xda-assist/brom-error-sftenabledramfail-0xfc0-sp-t3378499). But that guy was met with a stock answer.
If anyone knows. Pls do help.
Thanks in Advance.

Is your FRP unlocked?
You can check by booting to fastboot mode.
Download minimal adb & fastboot installer. Install.
Put phone in fastboot mode by plugging in USB to computer and then start using power + vol down.
If it says FRP unlock its pretty easy to fix.
If not you could try factory reset from recovery, then back to fastboot mode and check if FRP is gone.
Check this and reply back.

If it just says that, and not FRP locked, you can use this guide to rebrand and/or get a working firmware.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/how-to/guide-mate-9-flash-update-package-t3593108
I realise it's the same hwota as OP posted but it's explained a little more in the release thread.
Does the bat give any errors?

Thanks to this post my Huawei mate 9 is finally working, tried restoring it for the past 3 weeks but nothing, this was the only method that worked for me, everything on the phone works perfectly except that my single Sim Sim now says it's a dual Sim(MEID showing a lot of zeros) , but I'm just glad it's working after all this time, thank you to everyone who helped

Hi
Please can you tell to me why when HWOTA wait my phone in TWRP mode do not detect my phone ? Thank you
Please help
My mate 9 had a security patch dated in April last year. I was trying to update it to a recent patch. I tried a couple OTA passages on FF, but none of them could finish and left me with a starting screen saying your phone failed for verification. So I tried a full OTA package ( don't remember the number more, but it's a package dated Jan 7th I think) that passed the access test in FF.
The whole process finished and screen showed update successful. But all of a sudden, instead of normal restart, the phone started a downgrade process and tried to install B567 back to my phone. Then it kept going to erecovery, but always showed recovery failed after downloading a package from server and trying to install it.
I don't want to void any warranty, only trying to reset it back to original state. Please help.

Have you check the oem info which you had flashed using HWOTA?
Flash the correct oem info for your device and follow instructions in case if it failed again post screenshot of the error.

Hi
Apology for late reply, if you got the unlock code try unlocking bootloader using hwota, and continue the process
BUT before proceeding make sure you noted correct unlock code, double check your imei, sno etc if something missing in your unlock code.

Hi,
If it is giving incorrect unlock code then confirm your imei, product id, serial number, get the unlock code from huawei developer page and save it as notepad and try again with hwota....check imei on product box , for some reason after rebranding device gives you some different imei.

the code is not incorrect and HWOTA doesnt say its incorrect it gets failed to write which is normal for every phone if they dont have it oem unlock enabled from developer options unless there is any other way around
needing file location clarification

* I have downloaded ant unzipped HWOTA on pc desktop
* I have downloaded the 3 additional zip files as well.
Do these files go directly into the unzipped HWOTA folder? (you mention UPDATE folder?)
* Do these 3 files stay zipped?
* It doesn't seem to allow me to change the file names
* where is the "update.bat" file to open?
Thank you so very much
