Hi,
I use Good for Enterprise for accessing my work emails on my Nexus 5. Ever since the recent update of the app, i am facing a strange problem. As soon as I start the app, the phone starts to heat up and lose battery life at a fast clip. The only way to stop it is to restart the phone. Then the temperature slowly comes down and the phone is usable again. The heat is concentrated near the camera lense at the back.
Have anyone of you ever faced a similar problem? Please help. I am stumped.
regards,
Shuvabrata
Hi,
since i have rooted my phone with this tutorial (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xper...weaks-t3298224) and help during some problems i now have another problem.
When using high graphic apps like navigation or games the phone is getting extremly warm! Which also causes the apps to slow down or even stop working (properly).
Any suggestions how to fix this?
Thank you,
That happens on my unrooted phone. Just the way it is
I didnt had this trouble before. The temperature is going above 65 ° C which is way to hot.
I get 50+ when playing Pokemon...
My Z5 on lollipop sometimes heats up pretty badly when using anything related to the internet. Eg maps navigation, browsing internet, Facebook. It happens whether im on 4g/3g or on WiFi. Looking at cpuz, it heats up to 70C under the thermal tab. This happens randomly, and restarting the phone doesnt help too much. It just comes and go. Any ideas?? TIA
Edit: my Z5 is on android 6.0.1 which is marshmallow..
If its not 90 its ok. But why on the world would u use lolipop on this phone?
Oops.. Sorry marshmallow. Android 6.0.1. Lol. But yea.. It gets pretty hot and battery life isnt really good either.. Can barely last a day
Are you sure 90C is when I should be worried about?? Thats almost boiling point...
I also have a problem about the audio jack. The problem is shown in the video:
Im not sure if that is normal behaviour or not.. But it annoys me as whenever insert my car stereo jack, I have to wait for it to settle down before I can play my music.
Any ideas anyone?
I have Huawei Mate 7 MT7-L09 with official Android 6.0 C432B571 from here, bootloader unlocked and rooted.
The phone seems to be a bit laggy in general use, when working with apps etc. Is there any way how to improve it? I changed battery mode from intelligent to perfromance, which helped a bit, but I still feel that the phone with such hardware should perform better. I have LG G4 that should theoretically have similar performance (at least by Antutu), but it runs much smoother.
In addition, fingerprint sensor doesn't work reliably for me so I had to turn it off. And sometimes lock screen is not responding to touches at all after waking up the phone and I have to wait tens of seconds until it starts working (I use unlock gesture).
I am not sure whether the issues are caused by the ROM itself or some Huawei power saving features. Which ROM is the best for this phone? Do you also have some of the issues described?
Hi
I have exact the same issues and asked in different Boards ... But I don't get any functional response ...
Interesting...but good to know that I am not alone Did you test any other ROM or Android version? I got this phone a month ago, so I went directly to Android 6.0 and didn't try others...

Hi,
A few things i did to make my Mate7 a bit snappier:
- in Phone Manager > Battery > Protected Apps, I added apps that i use alot, so that the phone doesnt close them, so starting them up again is quicker as they are still in RAM
- switch to Nova launcher, as it seems to be much smoother than the default launcher
- if you're rooted, i installed L Speed from the play store, and tinkered around with some settings there - seems to have sped up the phone alot

Which ROM do you mean? "Ale95 KangVip V3.5" or "Honor 6 Plus KangVip Full Port" or something else? Is it better than stock ROM? What is the difference between those two?

B514 is quite an old version of Android 6 for the Mate 7. Why don't you try upgrade to a newer version first, like B560? Alot of bug fixes were made in newer version which solved battery and performance issues.

B514? I have B571, right?
B560 RAM usage
So I have the b560 fw running on my mt-l09. But while closing apps in multitask I became aware the system uses massive amounts of RAM, is this normal? Upon closing all apps it states it has 800 - 900 MB free from the 2 GB available. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot.

HI ALL,
I have Samsung s21 plus exynos 8gb running latest one ui 4.1 but it is very slow lags a lot even sometime when unlocking phone it shutter a lot and even when I'm watching videos I scroll down the status bar it lags , the performance isn't like flagship any suggestions? any lead to fix would be apappreciated ..
The only time I notice a slow performance is when the phone hot, but it rarely happen to me. If the phone is slowing even when the phone is not hot, then you probably got a bad device.
I'm using Exynos though.
Unlock the bootloader with volume up and down when it is off and connected to the computer, save all your stuff because the phone will be formatted.
Then test the performance of your phone again, it happened to me but that's how I solved it strangely, I had already formatted it many times but it was always the same so I unlocked it and that's how I managed to solve that error.
I have no idea why it is but it happened to me in the exynos version, today it works as it should, less in emulators because they are not very compatible due to their api and/or OpenGL
