Hello,
Welcome to XDA.
Have you tried factory resetting the device with the factory reset option in system settings? Have you tried booting to recovery and selecting the factory reset option and the wipe cache option? You may be able to do this and then when the device reboots you may be able to set the Samsung Account up in your name/email address, it may give you the option of creating a new account.

Hello!
I am new to this forum so please excuse my bad english and don't ignore my post. Idk if this is the right sub forum for my problem.
So. Today I wanted to root my GS6 Romania Orange model. Android 6.0.1. When I wanted to flash the kerenel via Odin I got a fail, and on my phone smth about R/L(reactivation lock) blocked custom binary or smth. I did then do some research and it was about having enabled reactivation lock. The problem ia here: when I want to disable it, I go to fins my mobile and it I can not disable it. More, it tells me to add an account and the reactivation lock setting is enabled and greyed. When I want to add an account it goes to the provious screen. I then remembered that I can't download themes also. I went into app manager to search for Samsung Account. It is not there. Even searching through system apps I could not find it. I reset my phone and realized that in the initial setup I am NOT asked to login to any knid of samsung account...
Please help.
My roommate got a Galaxy S6 earlier off of Craigslist but the person who sold it to him doesn't know the Samsung Account password,so unable to factory reset. Would downgrading the firmware via Odin trip the FRP and still ask for a password?

Click to collapse
Just go into recovery mode {press 3 keys} and do factory reset from there.
Usually when you do that,FRP trips and it won't let you use the phone until you put in the password
We know the Google account password that's on the phone right now (his). So if I factory reset it via recovery ,wouldn't it ask for his Google account password? Double checking before I do anything.
Phone was flashed and dont have previous owners google account information so am unable to get pass the welcome screen so how can i bypass this what do i do PLEASE HELP im inexpierenced
Hello , I did a hard reset on my Samsung galaxy s6 g920f duos. Reactivation lock was on. After that while signing in to Samsung account with correct email and password brings an error message "processing failed".
6.0.1 G920FXXS4DPG4
Can I downgrade this to a lower version so that I can bypass and remove the reactivation lock?..
Any other ideas/solutions please ?
You have Google account associated with the device? Use that.
If not you can bypass FRP but it's not particularly easy or fun... google it.
In the future...
Delete accounts before a factory reset.
Do the factory reset from settings rather than the boot menus if possible.
Write down the passwords.
I deleted all accounts except for Samsung account before resetting..which also brought same error message "processing failed"
I never dealt with the Samsung lockout... Thanks for the warning.
No doubt it's tied to Knox.
If you got a Samsung Experience center near you they may be of help.
You can try their support line but it almost anyways sucks. US support is the best of that lot.
Hopefully someone here knows a work around as I don't.
