I had Genisys MM on my G4 and today i was downloaded adnroid N to instal on my rooted G4. In one of tutorials i saw that i must instal latest TWRP on my phone so I have done it like that. Now, when I want to enter into twrp after choosing twice "yes" my phone just restarts and starts to boot the system wich I messed up btw with textoder_dpi app, i changed dpi on 520 and now i cant use my phone at all. if someone know how to solve this i would be so much gratefull. Hi ppl, this is my problem i updated my prophet with the g3 update rom, it worked ok, the problem was that after it made the update and the device rebooted it became with the 3 colours on screen, my microsoft active sync could not syncronize with it and right know i cannot work in any way with it please help me... I made the update with the g3 rom of mobiz, i didin´t get to the second step.
Now i Know how
1. Install original Rom
2. Do an update to the rom to wm6
3. Do an hardspl g3 or g4
4. Install a new Rom with RUU update utility.
just where to find original rom ?? ? i have the same problem
I was eager to update my Oneplus one to lollipop 5.1.1, so I found a download to what I thought was simple update to 5.1.1.I am new to all this so did not have a clue what I was doing if I'm honest. I downloaded 5.1.1 download then i ran it on my phone. Afta which my phone bricked!! I managed to unbrick my phone. N now in my settings in about phone it's says I'm running 5.1.1. So did I actually flash my phone?? The phone was also displaying all the correct attributes of 5.11. But then due to something silly I did a factory reset by first wiping is it cash partition? Afta reset the phone not displaying the things it should do running 5.1.1 but in about phone it clearly States phones software is lollipop 5.1.1. So what do I do now do I have to root phone to get further updates by installing ROMs or is my phone already rooted bcoz I managed to manually update to 5.1.1????Also my Oneplus one is a bit confused with itself as it keeps telling me to do system update to guess what?? Yes lollipop 5.1.1!! So i am totally confused as I'm a total noob and confused as what my next step should be???
if you want to fix your device back to normal then root and unlock it (learn how to do it its really simple and wont void warranty on the one ) flash stock image of COS 12.1 unrooted .if you want to continue using root then do the same procedure again and it would be fine otherwise run it with cos 12.1 without root if you arent all that tech savvy.
Read Heseinberg's thread, it will teach you what to do and not do.

Just got a small problem with my phone. I have rooted and unrooted my LG L50 multiple times now with different programs, iv changed to boot image which is somehow messed up now even though it was fine before and i'm wondering if there it a way of reinstalling android on it (kitkat 4.4.2) or maybe even put android lollipop onto it if possible.

for lollipop we need unlocked bootloader witch im currently working on.but i will probably faill--.-- to get your android 4.4.2 installed you will need flash tool and a kdz file just follow this guide and good luck http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190 .. and btw this will not wipe your data you will have to do that later

I tried to install two KDZ ROMs by the KDZ updater however it consists as Phone not found, and by the LG support tool it arrives at 80% of the rom install in the error apparatus. Anyone who can help thanks.
Hey Dudes. i Want to install miui8_gpro2_yanzihan_6.12.27_6.0 on my g2 pro (d838). iam currently on lollipop and iam rooted with dproot. But i cant enter to recovery or download mode by pressing the hardware keys. i tried to install twrp with the twrp manager, but there is no official support for my modell (without carrier branding). is there a way for my to install miui8 on my g2? iam new on lg g2 rooting/custom roms, coming from samsung (s2, s4, s5, s5mini) and there will be all installed by using odin and the recovery apps.

i resolved my problem myself. with the Script per ADB from another member (https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg...thod-to-flash-recovery-lollipop-lg-g-t3414263) it worked. but i have to edit the script (paths wasn't correct). now iam using ressuraction rom marshmallow

PS.: How is Resurrection?
Hey. You cant Brick your Phone. Open the Script and enter every command manually so you can see the errors live and you can change the paths (try the paths with cmd)
If the paths are wrong only the upload of one or more files will fail.
I dont know the paths now, but i thought correct path was began with /sdcard/yourpath. You will See it when you upload one file because you get an access denied.

Hey does anyone know how to flash twrp on the new android 10 version of the blackview a80 pro? I got the scatter file from some guy that sells phone screens on alibaba and the screen won't work without this particular update, but I've tried everything and can't figure it out I done tried fastboot and the flash tool even adb sideload and all it does is boot normal. I can't figure it out plz help... Also I can't help but think there's sumthin fishy about the screen only working with that update do y'all think my phone is bugged?? Or is there a way to make the screen work without the update any help will be appreciated thanks

Did you find any solution?, i just accidentally bricked mine a80 pro (it was android 9 pie), so i installed the full system again, it's now android 10, i've been trying to install twrp or root but doesn't seem to work on 10 version
