I have started having issues with my screen not registering touch input. I do have a screen protector on the phone as well as a UAG case but everything has been fine, I've had them both on for over a week without any problems. Starting today though my phone has not been registering all of my touch inputs, whether it be typing or clicking on things. It is starting to get rather frustrating because I am constantly misspelling words or having to click on things multiple times. Any idea what might be causing this?
i just got a one plus one replaced. and in the new phone sometimes while touching 'I' "ou" gets touched. i dont know why its happening. and its really frustrating while typing. Please reply me suggestions to fix this problem.
So the other day my phone got soaked with water and I dried it out completely and everything but now every time I unlock my phone I have to endure about 3 minutes (sometimes longer) of ghost touches at the bottom of the screen after which it works perfectly. How could I fix this problem and what parts could I possibly need ? Just a screen and digitizer or an entire display ? Please help. Also, I'm nowhere near an Alcatel Support centre so please don't recommend that ??
Hey guys,
Got this phone (exynos variant) on pre-order. Besides the atrocious battery life and the wifi problem, I've been having touchscreen issues only when the phone is charging.
The screen is usable so it is not horrible but sometimes my keypresses are not registered. As soon as I unplug it, the issue goes away. I had a TPU screen protector installed and tried it with touch sensitivity both on and off. Same problem.
Has anyone experienced this?
Thanks.

I have the exact issue with the touchscreen issue while wire charging. I am using genuine Samsung charger (from my S7Edge) and 3rd party good quality type c cable, facing touchscreen is slow to respond to my touch and sometimes not register, same as you, i have TPU screen protector installed and Exynos variant (Malaysia). It is starting to bother me now. Kind of disappointed with this issue
HI
I'm having an issue, where the touch function of the screen sometimes becomes non responsive, and reboot by holding both sidekeys is the only solution. Swithing between tiles by rotating the bezel works, only the touch function is "gone". Resetting the watch doesn't fix it.
I'm running the latest software version (R895FXXU1FVD4), my strap is as tight as can be and I clean the back of the watch every day. I'm running with screen sensitivity set On, as I have a Panzerglass on the screen.
I'm kind of hoping, that I'm not the only one, having this issue, and that someone has a valid solution.
Thanks in advance

Thank you for your input.
I've been using PanzerGlass since Day 1. This is a recent problem. I was hoping it was a software related one, but I'm not so sure anymore. 🥹

do you have moisture under the glass maybe ?
No. Everything looks and feels perfect.
On my watch4classic 46mm
I have the exact same issue from previous firmware update and to get it to responding I have to let watch go to aod mode and then wake watch again
The updates of this new wear os 3 are really messed up and have ruined experience of this watch
Latest software upgrade seems to have solved the problem.
Thanks for your replies and suggestions.
