Nokia 6 tones - Nokia 6 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Hi,
I managed to extract ringtones, notification sounds and alarms from nokia 5/6 system dump.
*All of these were created by nokia, I only extracted them!
Enjoy
(I am also working on extracting wallapers but I cannot seem to find them)

Can you please extract the music and gallery apps

These are only some AOSP sounds. I don't see any Nokia related thing here.

Can u extract bootanimation with sound.

- Restored default wallpaper to HTC Sense

Download (mirror)
For more information on the base ROM and install instructions please see the official DJ DROID thread.
You will need the radio update from that thread!
----------------------------------------------------------------
Here is a little guide to restore apps:
1. Get the .apk file of the app. For example if you want to restore the car panel you can download the DJ Droid ROM and open it with WinRAR. You can find the .apk file in /system/app (HtcCarPanel.apk).
2. Download this ROM and open it with WinRAR, go to /system/app and add the .apk file you just got from the original DJ Droid ROM. Close WinRAR and it should be fine.
I've added the Car Panel apk as an attachment.
If you want to remove other apps yourself you can also just open the ROM with WinRAR and go to /system/app and delete the .apk file.
Cheers for this!

As far as I know a wipe is not required if you are using DJ Droid. And yes, this still has the froyo a2sd.
Great Job!! Can I add car panel to it or is there a way to restore it?
Ta
nicely done!
The default map still there? Anyway to remove it?

Um, I think is correct version, because before flash this ROM, I am using "r21-update-bravo-withoutadditions-signed" and my CIME file is "r1-wvga-cime-signed.zip". It work fine on that ROM. But get error on DJ Droid ><
Just a little bug
Fantastic work guys , but not perfect ; yes I must report a bug . When I set high resolution in the camera the phone make a strange sound and reboots automatically .

How to change Default Apps and Wallpapers on Mediatek Devices

Hi everybody
I'm looking for "how to change the default apps and wallpapers on mediatek devices" in order to make my own custom ROM.
For default apps, I tried to put .apk files in /system/app, and created a backup using MTKDroidTools, but it didn't work (like the MX Player apk file). Can someone help me for this.
Also I couldn't find how to replace defalut wallpapers in my stock ROM.
I have a iNew i2000 (MT6589)
Thanks
for that you have to put .so files in system / lib folder...btw putting apps like mx player is not a good idea.... as user can install them... it just make rom bulky...

To change default wallpaper you have to edit framework-res.apk, and replace defaultwallpaper.jpg
To change wallpapers in launcher you have to edit Launcher2.apk, and replace wallpaperXX.jpg and their thumbnails for your dpi
To add apps, put them in /system/app, and if it contains any lib in apk package (check it using 7zip or winrar), extract it and put inside /system/lib/

[BOOTANIMATION] Android Lollipop (Xperia M2)

Hello everybody!
I've just "ported" the bootanimation from the Android Lollipop Preview from Nexus 5, I've resized every picture one by one so that they match the screen resolution of our smartphone
Also, I've created a new bootsound, that combines the old Xperia Bootanimation and the song that Google used in the intro of the I/O Keynote of this year
Preview:
Demo video:
Download: MEGA / Dropbox
Instructions: Move to /system/media and give permission RW-R-R
Hope you enjoyed it, and if so, hit the thanks button
Added demo video to OP, so that those who didn't tried it yet are able to check out how it looks like
Nice. What about android l theme for non root device

Sorry, I think that's not possible, check that some people, like JanM RS and Ben Ling, have already tried with Sony's SDKs to make a theme for Xperia Themes, but it didn't work because it needs the SuperUser Mod, so let's see if it's still necesary to root the device when KK arrives, or if we are able to use it at 100%..
BTW, check this post, it's a request for CyanogenMod to bring official support for our device, you might be interested, maybe, if they bring us support, we might have Android L rom's in the future :fingers-crossed:
Thanks man!
Thats look nice i guess,, so i'll try to port to mine..thank u..

Yes. U need a rooted device for sure.
Upppppp (so that new ones can check this amazing bootanimation )
Cool bro! Keep it up
Works great on my Xperia M2 Dual:good:
works fine on D2305, it's a bit blurry at the edges but the resizing must have messed it up
one kool tip for people who are paranoid about changing the boot animation and bricking their device is to:
1)be rooted ofc
2)IMPORTANT!!!: RENAME NOT REPLACE
3)now you can move the "new" boot animation to /system/media
4)now navigate to /system/bin
5)find the script "bootanimation" it shouldn't be "bootanimation.sh" or anything else just "bootanimation", may be diffrent for other devices but it should be consistance across all android devices
6)if it shows the new animation then done! :victory::victory::victory:
7)else, go back, delete the "new" one and rename the old boot animation to it original name "bootanimation.zip"
8)check all the contents of the "new" one and perform a MD5/hash checksum on it, then take it from step 2 again
i'll personally keep another copy of the boot animation on my PC so i can adb push it if all fails
