Hi,
I love the original wallpapers of 2.1 which are not all available in 2.2...
I just read that these are not directly available on internal memory and in some factory rfs or so .apk file...
I've all sound file from internal memory but no wallpapers...
Can anyone give those original wallpapers?
Not screenshots I want wallpapers...
I've check for tw site but cant find anything
maybe they are in framework.apk
Sent from my GT-I5800 using XDA App
I'll open it and check out
Got it...
They are in twwallpaperchooser.apk
Thank God I've baked up 2.1 apps
Though without root...
In this way we can get wallpapers of any launcher theme app...
I guess...
Mr prateik,
Where are you?:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
And you can get any file,
From.apk in this way..
Just open up the .apk file as a packed file...
All the images and sounds and videos you can get from there

For more information on the base ROM and install instructions please see the official DJ DROID thread.
You will need the radio update from that thread!
----------------------------------------------------------------
Here is a little guide to restore apps:
1. Get the .apk file of the app. For example if you want to restore the car panel you can download the DJ Droid ROM and open it with WinRAR. You can find the .apk file in /system/app (HtcCarPanel.apk).
2. Download this ROM and open it with WinRAR, go to /system/app and add the .apk file you just got from the original DJ Droid ROM. Close WinRAR and it should be fine.
I've added the Car Panel apk as an attachment.
If you want to remove other apps yourself you can also just open the ROM with WinRAR and go to /system/app and delete the .apk file.
Cheers for this!

Um, I think is correct version, because before flash this ROM, I am using "r21-update-bravo-withoutadditions-signed" and my CIME file is "r1-wvga-cime-signed.zip". It work fine on that ROM. But get error on DJ Droid ><

13/6 DIP7's 2.3.3 Gingerbread download link :===> http://www.multiupload.com/SV0HETV8GM
This ONLY work and must work on DIP7's 2.3.3 Gingerbread
I just share what I am running on my tab come with Dip7 rom.
I don't responsible for any damage to your device, may be u need to restock if it refuse to boot up in the worst case...flash as your own risk...
If u are brave enough, just flash it in CWM, 1 st boot up need about 3~5 minutes..
Known issue: in setting->application->manage application, the application name is invisible whithout pressed. ( I can't solve it...)
For DIP7's 2.3.3 Gingerbread : http://www.multiupload.com/SV0HETV8GM
sorry for no support... again the worst is to restock....
wish u can boot successfully.....

To arrange the layout in ADW launcher, pls refer to the post link below:
HoneyComb layout by GANJDROID ----->>
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=983846
or video ----> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBAzOcfLcig
If u get issue on ADW launcher, use rootexplorer and get into /data/app/org.adwfreak.launcher.apk click it and re install again will solve the issue.
All the icon u need is inside /system/media/HoneyComb
which is created by Natious and his thread link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=947200
He will be glad if u feel the icon pretty.(I love the icon very much!!1)
For the Dip7 2.3.3 version , I decided to use SOHRAB1985 modifed Contacts.apk which give us a fresh look in the Dialer, wish u enjoy!!

Awesome theme! Can you post the wallpaper or a link to the thread with it by any chance? I'm trying to find it after flashing the theme but don't see it under default wallpapers.
File should be unzipped on PC only.
When unzipping on the SGT, you get 12MB file.
On PC you get a working 63MB file.
Very nice theme indeed!!!
Nice job my friend!!!!
Tx, Shahar.

very nice. This version seems to work without any issues. excellent!
Thanks for combining the best of the best! This sounds to be a awesome theme, however I've reverted to the Overcome 1.4.5 due to some issues with 1.6.3
Is it very difficult to support OC 1.4.5?
Thank you!
Nice theme. My only problem is all the extra apps it puts on. Adw launcher ex would force close, and I uninstalled everything extra.
Nice. . . Thanx!
Awesome
Nice and clean. Really liked it.
Thanks

The default wallpaper should be in the Launcher2.apk. Browse to /system/app and copy launcher2.apk to you PC and rename the apk extension to zip. Open the zip file and look in the res\drawable-xlarge-nodpi directory and you should find the wallpapers.

Here's the Thrive wallpapers I pulled from a system dump I got in this thread. I had to put them in 2 separate zip files due to the forum upload constraints as the total size of a single zip file was just over 8MB.
The wallpaper you are looking for is called luster2_a.jpg and it is in ThriveWallpaper(2of2).zip.
Reminded just me how good 'glow hex' is
im sorry, this issue my first post, huge noob question but how do i download those zip files, because it says it downloaded them but when i go to open it on my XOOM it says it cannot be opened and i have my "unknown Sources" checked in my settings so a little help please? thank you!
you have to install apps that can unpack zipped file

The primary background for this is a mesh looking, honeycomb. I love that, and would like to have a full sized version of just that background. I know for this image, it's from the thrive, but it looks like it was put together. Anyone know where I can get the primary background out of this picture, so I can use it as a background on my Xoom? Thanks

Hi everybody
I'm looking for "how to change the default apps and wallpapers on mediatek devices" in order to make my own custom ROM.
For default apps, I tried to put .apk files in /system/app, and created a backup using MTKDroidTools, but it didn't work (like the MX Player apk file). Can someone help me for this.
Also I couldn't find how to replace defalut wallpapers in my stock ROM.
I have a iNew i2000 (MT6589)
Thanks
for that you have to put .so files in system / lib folder...btw putting apps like mx player is not a good idea.... as user can install them... it just make rom bulky...

To change default wallpaper you have to edit framework-res.apk, and replace defaultwallpaper.jpg
To change wallpapers in launcher you have to edit Launcher2.apk, and replace wallpaperXX.jpg and their thumbnails for your dpi
To add apps, put them in /system/app, and if it contains any lib in apk package (check it using 7zip or winrar), extract it and put inside /system/lib/

Yes use es file explorer to extract the apk and search for the files.. However I am not sure if it is Ok to do this as Goolors is a paid app.
