Honeycomb Bootanimation w/Tron Legacy SPC audio

Here is a ported Honeycomb bootanimation from the XOOM tablet that has been modified to fit the HTC EVO along with a custom SPC audio file that plays the opening music and narration from Tron Legacy. Install using ROOT Explorer and place here...system>customize>resource...note that this is for SENSE ROMS only. Also make sure to unzip the audio rar first before placing it on the root of the SD Card as an MP3 audio file.
got a video?
Nope, can't add video or images because I'm a noob and this forum won't let me. Sorry.
havent tried this but i listen to the music file .. wouldve been nice if it was the music only ..
I just downloaded the bootscreen and extracted it to view the images and it looks sexy. Might have to try this when i get home.
It's not that hard bro, I just rooted my Inspire w/Bubbys file.. Side note: It was my first time rooting this evening...
Worked perfect!!
I just used HTC bootAni Replacer
Thanks bro!!
its a good one too
Ive had this bootanimation on other roms but there kinda slow
this one works really good for my phone
and Im NOT on a sense rom!!
I just didnt use the sound bit
The file goes into /system/media folder
Glad you liked it.
Quick question, where do I push the mp3 to? And do I have to rename it to android_audio before I push?
If you're using a sense rom you only have to change the MP3 file from a .rar to a .zip and push it to system>customize>resource, but if you're on a non-sense rom I believe you will have to leave the MP3 audio out of the equation all together. Perhaps someone else on here knows how to push it to a non-sense rom(lol, a non-sense rom), but I have been told that it will not work and I have yet to get it to work on a non-sense rom even after renaming it android_audio. Hope this helps.
Correct me if Im wrong but the audio for bootanimations is simply an mp3. Its not in a zip, So you would have to extract the SPC_animation_final.mp3 from the rar file. Then push the mp3 to system/customize/resources. For sense based roms. If anyone is interested I could wrap this up in a flashable zip for those of you who have your booanimation in system/customize/resources.
Gruesomewolf that would be nice thanks ahead of time

Cool, I was thinking of something like this too.. It would be great if someone could make a simple theme kitchen that could add the files to the apk's and put it all in an xrec zip. Then we could just make "theme packs" that could be installed on any rom. And using different pieces (lockscreen, status bar,etc..)from different themes would be a lot easier for noobs (and 'advanced users' too!).
Cant say I follow u 100% but this sounds promising so when I get a chance im gonna look in to this and maybe give it a shot. Thanks for ur efforts on this.

2.1 has got almost the same lockscreen as 2.3.3 so they will work on 2.3.3 too.

Oh, ok. You'll have to make the 'vibrate' options for those since SE changed those options up. But of course you know that

Metamorph works on x10? How come no one ever mentions using it? Yes, it would be great to use that or zipthemer, I didn't know we could. Is it pretty easy/straightforward?

I have no idea if it works, but on the FreeX10 it works ! [this was the 2.2 Froyo one]
I'll test it tonight and get back. But I'm pretty sure it'll work ...
Thanks for this, have used 6 of your icon sets to create 6 framework-res.apk on my sd card. Can now copy, paste and reboot to have any one I like.
I made all mine using root explorer to extract my framework-res.apk and inserted your images. Then zipped and renamed from .zip to .apk and then copied back into system/framework. Happy days

I updated to Koush Alpha 12 ROM sound and I love ringtones and notifications, but I'm kind of disappointed with alarm tones..
Does anyone help the loud alarm tones from CM7 and know where I need to extract those files in order for my Clock app to select these alarm tones?
Thank you!
Is this what you're looking for? http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4496465/alarms.zip

Yes! Thank you! What directory do I move these files to? Thank you so much!
You copy them to /system/media/audio/alarms. Reboot and they'll be available system-wide

[iOS 10] Ringtone and Notification/Alarm Sounds by memocatcher

Hey Guys,
if someone wants the iOS10 default ringtone and some nice notification/alarm sounds of it, I made 2 zips I extracted from Alexis ROM. (Galaxy S6)
Note: There is only one ringtone (most common one) in ringtone folder, sorry but I can't add more
If you want the default ringtone, just download iOS10 ringtones.zip below and extract the folder with root explorer in
Code:
/system/media/audio/ringtones
and give the ringtone permission 0644 (rw-r-r). Reboot phone and enjoy.
Same for notifications: download zip, and extract it to
Code:
/system/media/audio/notifications
and give all notifications 0644 (rw-r-r) permisision also. Reboot and enjoy.
If this was helpful for you, I would be happy if you hit THANKS
