Honeycomb Bootanimation w/Tron Legacy SPC audio - EVO 4G Themes and Apps

Here is a ported Honeycomb bootanimation from the XOOM tablet that has been modified to fit the HTC EVO along with a custom SPC audio file that plays the opening music and narration from Tron Legacy. Install using ROOT Explorer and place here...system>customize>resource...note that this is for SENSE ROMS only. Also make sure to unzip the audio rar first before placing it on the root of the SD Card as an MP3 audio file.

got a video?

Nope, can't add video or images because I'm a noob and this forum won't let me. Sorry.

havent tried this but i listen to the music file .. wouldve been nice if it was the music only ..

I just downloaded the bootscreen and extracted it to view the images and it looks sexy. Might have to try this when i get home.

It's not that hard bro, I just rooted my Inspire w/Bubbys file.. Side note: It was my first time rooting this evening...

Worked perfect!!
I just used HTC bootAni Replacer
Thanks bro!!
its a good one too
Ive had this bootanimation on other roms but there kinda slow
this one works really good for my phone
and Im NOT on a sense rom!!
I just didnt use the sound bit
The file goes into /system/media folder

Glad you liked it.

Quick question, where do I push the mp3 to? And do I have to rename it to android_audio before I push?

If you're using a sense rom you only have to change the MP3 file from a .rar to a .zip and push it to system>customize>resource, but if you're on a non-sense rom I believe you will have to leave the MP3 audio out of the equation all together. Perhaps someone else on here knows how to push it to a non-sense rom(lol, a non-sense rom), but I have been told that it will not work and I have yet to get it to work on a non-sense rom even after renaming it android_audio. Hope this helps.

Correct me if Im wrong but the audio for bootanimations is simply an mp3. Its not in a zip, So you would have to extract the SPC_animation_final.mp3 from the rar file. Then push the mp3 to system/customize/resources. For sense based roms. If anyone is interested I could wrap this up in a flashable zip for those of you who have your booanimation in system/customize/resources.

Gruesomewolf that would be nice thanks ahead of time

[Theme]Star Wars for LibertyX 1.0

I got tired of there not being any good Star Wars themes for any of the Roms(except R2D2 D2's ports, which aren't really that good IMO). So I gave it a try. This is the first theme i have ever done. So please remember that if its not any good lol. Big props to Mikeyinid for his great theme bases i used to help my novice run at this much easier.
Install Instructions-
Reboot Clockwork Recovery
Mount System
Install zip from sd card
reboot and enjoy.
Also included in theme-
-Pandora Radio with transparent widget
-Black themed keyboard
-black themed market
-Star Wars Ringtones and Notification files(more than just R2 sounds)
-Located inside the Theme zip file is also a Star Wars boot animation and boot logo(they can also be found in system/media folder after installation)- both of which can be installed through Liberty Toolbox, follow their instructions.
-Also inside zip file are some Star Wars wallpapers.
Download Here-
http://www.mediafire.com/starwarslibertyx
Do not use unless comfortable using an SBF.(This is the CYA section of the post . )
I take no responsability for problems that may occur or damage done to phone with this theme. Use at your on risk.

For Droid X running Liberty 1.0. Did you come from another theme? If so install Liberty Rom without wiping data and cash. Then reinstall theme. Sometimes themes can leave things behind that don't play nice with other themes. Always good to start with the base rom then install theme of your choice. Hope this helps.

Good, glad you got it working.
The stuff you mentioned should be in the zip folder, or in the /system/media folder after install. You can use Root Explorer or another file manager to access the system folder. There is a chance i accidentally uploaded the Theme zip that i forgot to put those into, it can get kinda hard to keep it all strait when you are working on hundreds of images in the framework. If you can't find them let me know and i will download the file from media fire and install it myself to see what is wrong. Like i said in the original post, this is my first theme and attempt at moding the framework like this, so please bear with me and I will get it all worked out.
-----Edit-----
I just downloaded the file myself and the images are in the zip folder. You should be able to use Root Explorer to extract the files inside the zip. It will pull them to /sdcard/extracted. Then look in the /sdcard/extracted/system/media folder. If this isn't working for you, you could always copy the file to your PC and use a program like WinZip or camparable(thats what i did to check it for you) and then copy the files to your phone. Hope this helps.
Nice theme, I'm using it now. Thanx for putting Vader sounds as ringtone and notifications good work.

Thanks, glad you like it. I almost went totally Empire/Darkside with the theme, but i had to many good images on file that were Rebel/Lightside. I think I am gonna make a Empire one still, just gonna take a little bit cause i gotta make a lot of the images for the framework from scratch to do it the way i want.
LOVE IT
Thanks man i found everything except the wallpapers . Ok don't know what i did but wallpaper appeared on my home screen . THANKS LOVING IT !!! .
Liberty 1.5 is coming soon please make this to work with it because this is a Keeper . Thanks

[Boot Animation] Black Ops for any Android Device

Pulled an all nighter for a little afternoon treat. Here is a Black Ops boot animation for any android device.
Important: These files I upload are not flashable via recovery, you need to push them via ADB or copy them to your SDcard and then placed in the correct system folder. User Tiffany84 will upload flashable zips for everyone shortly, please thank her for her work as well.
Instructions: Place or push via ADB the "bootanimation.zip" file just as it is downloaded into the system folder where your boot animations are located. The directories are either "/system/customize/resource" or "/system/media". I have included the mp3's for either directory, simply unrar and copy/push the files. "android_audio.mp3 goes into /system/media and "SPC_animation_final.mp3" goes into /system/customize/resource" you do not need both, its one or the other depending on your rom.
Here is a little .gif preview as well as the youtube link so you can see how it is supposed to sound. I hope you all enjoy!
As always, if you need help or have questions, please feel free to ask.

These are flashable zips of the bootanimation. The first one is for people that are on a rom that has the bootanimation located in system/customize/resource. The second is for people that are on a rom that has the bootanimation located in system/media. The audio is included in both of them. Enjoy.
Edit: I just tested the the one for roms that has the animation located in system/media and I had no sound. The animation looked great but I didn't have audio. I've never had any luck with audio for bootanimations that are stored in system/media. Sorry.

This is pretty good. I was wondering if its possible to make a seperate bootscreen animation that is just the green wire with the Android logo.... skipping all of the "black ops" footage.
Honestly, that green wire android is amazingly sick! Just loop that and im sold!

after rebooting and watching the animation several thousand times, wouldnt it be cool to have HTC EVO 4G logo show up right at the end with a camouflage and ripple effect? The logo of course would be placed right in the middle where it always has been.

Yes it would, working on Gears of War at the moment, but will revisit this idea.
I think your sound won't work for some. On the Inc im pretty sure the sound is VZW_Droid.mp3 since 2.2, depending on the rom.

[Boot Animation] MW4 Android intro animation as requested.

A user requested this boot animation to be seperated from the current Black Ops Boot animation thread. Here it is for everyone to enjoy.
Important: As usual this boot animation zip is not flashable and must be pushed via ADB or copied to your SDcard and then moved to the correct system folders.
Instructions: Push or copy the file "bootanimation.zip" just as it is d/l'd to either /system/customize/resource or /system/media on your phone. Audio file needs to be unrared and push/copied to those same directories. Make sure to rename the audio file "android_audio.mp3" if your boot animations are located in /system/media. The audio can remain titled as d/l'd for the other directory.
Of course, user Tiffany84 will provied flashable zips for everyone shortly, please be patient and thank her for her work as well.
Previews below, and as always, if you have questions or need help, please feel free to ask. Same goes for requests.
Enjoy,

If the flashable zip doesn't work for you, you can extract the bootanimation.zip out of the flashable and use root explorer to paste it in the proper folder. Unfortunately I don't know the location for that Rom. Most go in either system/media or system/ customize/resources. If you can find it, rename the new one, if necessary, to the same name and paste it to the same location.

Blue Android Gears:
Credit goes to gammaRascal, he made it for the Acer Iconia A500 at this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1163491

Yes, rename the file to TMOUS_bootanimation.zip and put it in /system/customize/resource/
Be sure to rename the original one in there just as a backup.
just used both of these, and they're pretty awesome.

Same as above, though 'bootaudio.mp3' ~ no joy
Do i need to zip the mp3 file first?
