My phone is bricked and fails with fused 2 binary 1 and eMMC fail when I try to flash with odin. Please help me as I'm new to this. Also, I can get the phone to boot into download mode. Kies doesn't work as it asks to reload into recovery before it starts and unfortunately I can't do that

I have a Samsung Galaxy S Duos GT-S7562 which stopped working with no warning a few months ago. The device has stock Samsung firmware and has never been rooted.
On power-up the device hangs on the Samsung logo.
When a charger is attached the battery charge animation is frozen.
Both stock recovery and download mode are working.
Attempted a factory reset and clear cache through recovery mode. Both showed as successful. Still hangs at Samsung logo.
Attempted to flash official Samsung stock firmware through Odin3. Flash succeeds with no error but restart still hangs at Samsung logo.
Attempted to flash TWRP recovery through Odin3. Flash succeeds with no error but recovery mode still comes up as stock rather than custom.
Why would Odin3 report a successful TWRP recovery flash but the device still boots the stock recovery? I have another identical S7562 that I successfully flashed the same TWRP recovery and Samsung stock firmware using the same setup, Odin3, PC and USB cable. Both are unlocked devices. Disabling auto-restart in Odin3 and attempting to boot straight to recovery after flashing doesn't help.
I suspect that a JTAG recovery may be my only option but from what I've read it should only be attempted if stock recovery and download mode are *not* working. In my case both appear to be working. Would a JTAG recovery help in this case?
Could there be some sort of NAND memory failure that does not result in any error messages during an Odin3 flash?
Thank you for any help!
I guess JTAG is the only way. Sorry.

Use the most current binary and try with the PIT file, maybe formatting the partition table will help,
Hi
My phone stuck at “firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies“ and it neither boots nor goes to recovery mode but fortunately i can go to the download mode so i tried to flash official firmware but odin can not complete flashing and errors failed, i tried to flash twrp recover but it freezes and doesn't complete flashing so i tried to flash it via z3x samsung pro box and it can't complete flashing either! (for example during flashing, imaging boot.img size is 7mb flashing freeze at 6mb) and then errors timeout pop-up.
any solution?
is it hardware problem?
I really would appreciate if you help me
thanks

tried all the usb sockets on my computer, noting changed
When i try to power up the phone it says: " Firmware update encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."
Install TWRP Recovery in your Note 4 I had also this issue early. First Root your device then install twrp recovery and download Tedy Bear Rom Android 6 Marshmallow easily Available on this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...10c-h-tedybear-rom-v1-5-updated-v1-5.3768967/
