[OPENSOURCE APP] Andlytics (Play Store Stats App)

I've been a long user of Andlytics and I just read that the author has released the source code because he struggles to find the time to update it.
See his Twitter feed for info: @andlytics.
He has put the code up on GitHub.
Maurizio Pinotti already created a patch, which is already committed, to fix the changed authentication Google implemented.
I wish I had more time so I could help out, as I really love this app. But I'm just as strapped for time.
So if there are any developers out here who have some spare time and also (want to) enjoy this fantastic app, maybe you could have a peek and see if you can squat some bugs or implement some cool features.

I'll stick with defim's one as he has the link to the original github code. The other one is blue, so much for being official.

Hmmm, just checked APK sizes on the play store.
Open = 487k
Redux = 514k
Project = 664k
You would think that the size would be similar, so what's in Redux and Project that's not in Open?!?

I'll help with Portuguese (PT-BR) translations.

PROJECT is bigger because it has "changelog" dialog, updated error-reporter, new design an so on. Also changes in proguard config. Read the commit log for more! But sadly there are some errors after all the changes..
OPEN got only a update for the google-api, noting else (renaming the package name is not funny...). So it's smaller

Thanks defim, much appreciated. Because it was all blue I though it might have been another guy just publishing it to the market. And with the added size I was wondering what code he would have put in. But it seems all legit then!?!
Do you know if the original author is still involved in the PROJECT version?

The 50 downloads you mention should refer to the Pro Feature Unlocker?
The number is not reflected by the number of download of the Pro Feature Unlocker because for the promo code to work you only need to download the free app..
And yes that means I'm getting very little money from this.. but it's not always about the money

Im running a new promotion. Check out the first post of my thread.

Although I missed the campaign I tried the app anyway since, like many have said, it looks cool and useful. Worked like a charm, but kept the phone awake for 7h straight with 3000+ alarms and using WLAN constantly.
Due to twitch reflexes I insta-uninstalled before taking screenshots of any kind, but here's the report anyway.

Nice interface and the colours make it fun to use. It's lightweight, but has enough features for anything I can think of.
If I may add a suggestion, it would be useful for new users if long pressing action bar buttons showed a toast with the name of the action (like the normal action bar behaviour). Otherwise, it's an awesome app and my new shopping list keeper :good:

I recommend you put Steam somewhere in the title. I think you would attract a bigger audience. Right now just by looking at the title I can assume it's a discount app for bagels and just move on not interested

I agree with every word. I did it with the first application which contained Steam in the title. But unfortunately Google Play has blocked it with REASON FOR REMOVAL: Violation of the impersonation or deceptive behavior.

@drKmz I would challenge Google on that. That's not reasonable at all. Besides there are other apps on the play store with "Steam" in their name. So I would either challenge Google's claim or report the other apps to get their name changed. After all if you can't do it why can they?

These applications dated years 2012-2013 when Google Play's policy was not so hard. Secondly I'm just afraid that after a second lock application Google will block my Google Play account.

The update with the dark theme just got pushed to play store for me!! Wow that was quick. Thanks so much!! I'd donate if I wasn't dead broke right now. I'll just share your app with more people in the mean time.

I'm having problems with this app, mainly after login in, because i have steam guard activated, i insert the code sent to my email and after that... if i press back, the app will automatically log me out.
Appart from that it does login correctly but every time i open the app, i have to relogin which sucks lol
Any fix for it?

1) It should be actually. Authorisation is via ajax so the guard request occurs on the same page so you can't return to the start of the login's page by clicking on the back button if I have correctly understood your problem. Without pressing the back button authorization is normal?
2) It should not be so. Do you have any kind of cleaners that remove cookies? If yes then the problem is in it, if not then as said steam support you have strong privacy settings that do not store cookies

The auhtorization works normally! BUT if i close the app, when i reopen it is logged out.

Nop i don't use a cleaner, because i had problems with those in the past and now i don't use any of that.

I have tried CloudPlayer for the trial, really liked the concept. I used it with Google Drive. Could you add support to Mega, they have well documented API and I haven't seen any other player to support it.By the way ,sometimes Chinese and Japanese support is weak，please fix the text decoding error. Also, i'd love to get one unlock code.Thanks!

Thanks! Check your PM for an unlock code. Right now our focus is on completing core player features (gapless, etc) but we are planning to add more cloud services later this summer. We'll start with OneDrive for Business/Office 365 that have a sweet 1TB for subs, then we'll add Box, and after that we'll look into MEGA. As far as issues with Chinese and Japanese songs go, this is usually due to non-unicode tags. In these cases, CloudPlayer tries to guess the correct encoding but sometimes it's unable to guess correctly. There's no full-proof way to fix this as it may break tags for other users, but in the future we may add a way to manually pick the correct encoding.

We don't support OwnCloud yet, but the app works like a charm with Dropbox. You can also chain-link Dropbox, OneDrive and Google Drive to create a giant jukebox

Would like to join, I'm still looking for cloud-music player. If there's a translation program in my language (Indonesia), I will try to help.

ABOUT
DutyManager is a simple application for people, small and medium sized businesses which manage on call duty.
It based on your pre-defined list configured on into the app and set up unconditional call forward for you.
This task is automatically triggered by a keyword found in the description of any calendar (synchronized or not) hosted in the phone. It's the first keyword which appears on the description on the event, separated by a space. Any keyword can be used (name, surname, trigram, etc ...)
STORY
This app was written after looking around some solution to manage our duty schedule during week-end hours inside my IT department. We've look around our IPX but it didn't offer any calendar system to shift automatically phone number. We've also found bunch of online apps which offers virtual phone number but prices were the limitation.
Therefore as we had an android spare smartphone where we manually forward call to people, I decide to automate all the stuff with Tasker. Since almost one year now, it worked well and now I propose this app for all with a GUI made with Tasker.
REQUIREMENTS
- a dedicated android smartphone (version 5.0 Lollipop and above) with the phone number that your contacts/customers/alarm system know
- a calendar synchronized on the device (even works a local one)
- DutyManager application
FEATURES
★ Manage shifts from google calendar website (or any calendar configured and synchronized on the device)
★ Customize short code to setup unconditional forwarding based on your mobile provider guideline
★ Manage your own list in an easiest way. Keyword (a name, trigram) + phone number
★ Add new contact remotely by text message
★ On-Call Reminder Notifications: Automatically remind duty contact when their on-call shift is begin with a customizable text message
★ Override on-call shift ("takeover"" on a scheduled contact) or check the status at any time, through text message (sms)
★ Any text message (sms) received on the phone is automatically forward to the duty contact (very useful for alarm system notification)
★ Be notify when phone battery is below 5%, battery overheating
★ For battery concern, calendars are checked every 5 minutes
★ Extended functionalities available if your device is rooted (clear popup, reboot phone remotely command)

NOTES
- Please verify that call forwarding is on your mobile plan. This application will not bypass plan's limitations
- Some carriers charge for call forwarding so please check with you carrier before purchasing this application
- Accessibility option has to be enabled in order for this app to work properly. Due to an android limitation, accessibility service must be enable for DutyManager in order to grab the result of MMI code query and catch the setup phone number.
- The best config for DutyManager is to plug your phone via usb on any "always-on" computer or on a wall power plug.

Still get 144 active users now and sound like folks are happy with, as I didn't heard any complain nor getting any new request about feature. Sounds like all need have been filled, right ?
A new free period has been scheduled in a couple of weeks from now : from Sept 8th to Sept 15th
As said on another place, I'm not here to make money with this app but mostly to have fun and discover by the keyhole what could be a global process of launching an app.
