The 50 downloads you mention should refer to the Pro Feature Unlocker?
The number is not reflected by the number of download of the Pro Feature Unlocker because for the promo code to work you only need to download the free app..
And yes that means I'm getting very little money from this.. but it's not always about the money

Im running a new promotion. Check out the first post of my thread.

Although I missed the campaign I tried the app anyway since, like many have said, it looks cool and useful. Worked like a charm, but kept the phone awake for 7h straight with 3000+ alarms and using WLAN constantly.
Due to twitch reflexes I insta-uninstalled before taking screenshots of any kind, but here's the report anyway.

My review

List Easy to use and looks awsome.

Aj Newkirk
As simple or as detailed as you need it to be.
So far I am really liking this. Later today my wife and I will start using the shared list feature, which will make shopping easier for the 2 of us to do. Great app!
==================================
Thanks for the great app! Looking forward to using the shared feature later today.

Simple and intuitive. Oh small typo in settings (ai trainig should read ai training)

This app is great and uses common sense for making the shopping intuitive. Nice!

Simple and useful
Great app that does what it's supposed to without gimmicks. Simple and fast, keep up the great work!
Luka Kaspar :good:

Andrei Poenaru
Simple, yet powerful
Nice interface and the colours make it fun to use. It's lightweight, but has enough features for anything I can think of.
If I may add a suggestion, it would be useful for new users if long pressing action bar buttons showed a toast with the name of the action (like the normal action bar behaviour). Otherwise, it's an awesome app and my new shopping list keeper :good:

Dude, I'm not joking, this app is awesome!
It looks great and the features are really great. I've only been playing with it for 10 mins, but I'll send you a PM with some constructive feedback once I've had a chance to properly test it out.
nice little handy note pad. Great job.
Pretty cool for sure. Needs a widget to compete with other note taking apps. Good job so far.
I like it. Being abel to backup is a BIG PLUS to me

Awesome, this looks like it will be my notepad!
All I ask is that it stays nice and simple
this is great.
great app, it force closed once on my asus transformer but i couldnt recreate it to see how it happened.
awesome app. lots of features, just my ideas, but this app would be great if you included these :
--widget that shows the contents of that particular note.
--that widget's fonts must be resizable, for people with big screens or small ones.
--oh, improved UI instead of pressing the menu key for almost everything, meaning you gotta move the ads somewhere else
just my opinions on what can be improved. AWESOME APP THOUGH. oh, and no offense meant
This is a win. Android > iPhone. Period.
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA Premium App
Great app!!! I will definitely be using this as my note pad from now on. If you added a widget that would top the cake.
Thanks for the great app!!!
I will try it

Hi, I've made a notepad app similar in appearance to that of the standard iPhone one but features such as add to statusbar, google translate, and much more. If anyone is interested in trying it can be found in the market by the name of "classic notes lite" or web link below. Thank you guys and any issues, please feel free to mention them to me etc.

need option to change font.
The ability to pin a note to status bar makes this a must have for me. Would like some customization options such as changing fonts though. Great job!
Great App..changing fonts and reminding(Alarm) me about a note would also be helpful!!!
For me too ... Would love it if:
a) it had alarms to remind me of certain notes.
b) it had a widget that allowed me to flip through notes either by taping the left/right edges or by tapping icons <- ->
c) the widgets mentioned above could be a colour defined by the user.
Cheers
I really like this compared to others I've used. I really like being able to back up and send notes to the notification bar. An alarm would be good but its a keeper for me.
Great work!

Google Sync?
Pretty slick, mate! Any chance to build-in sync with Google Tasks? I found this handy when I was using the MIUI Notes app - keeps calendar tidy while still giving you an alarm function. I also second ability to change font.
Cheers!
Nice little app.
Thanks

[APP][Android 2.3+] Simplest Reminder

I forget things quite easily so I have been using my phone for years to help me remember about certain tasks I need to do. I tried few applications but did not fall in love with any. They are often too complex and require too many steps to create a reminder / note.
Therefore I decided to make my own. I learned the basics of Android development and spent 2 months developing "Simplest Reminder". I was working on and off and only during my free time which was just a few hours a day at most.
Without further delay I present my first android application
It is available for free, with NO ads, in the Play Store:

If you can think of any improvements don't hesitate to post them here.
Again, app is available for free without any ads here

UPDATE, May 22: I now have a donation version of my application in store. It is located here: Simplest Reminder (Donate)
If you like my application please consider buying the "donate version". Both apps have the same features so buying my app ($ 0.99) is just a way of saying Thank You for my hard work.
UPDATE, October 16 2013: Donate version has just became PRO version with new, exciting features based on user feedback. Simplicity has not been compromised but functionality has been greatly improved.
It is available at the same URL: Simplest Reminder Pro so that anybody who donated to me gets free upgrade. Thanks to the bunch of you who supported me with nice words and especially those who bought my app! I hope you all enjoy the new features
Here is a list of new features in the Pro version:
- Recurring reminders. Choose between daily, weekly, monthly, or annually
- Pop Up dialog. This can be disabled in Settings
- New, analog style Time and Date pickers inspired by Google Calendar's app
- Self-repeating reminders. Reminder will repeat itself every 10 minutes so you don't miss it. This can be disabled or interval can be changed in Settings
- LED light notifications. This can also be disabled in Settings
- Swipe notification away to delete reminder. This can also be disabled in Settings
- Swipe notification away to dismiss recurring reminder
- Help screen
- Improved user interface and performance
Pro screenshots:
UPDATE, October 17: APK for free version uploaded as per user request. This is for people who can't use Google Play for any reason.
UPDATE, October 18: Version 1.8 of the Simplest Reminder Free has been released. I refreshed the looks to be as nice as the look in the Pro version. I updated the screenshots in this thread.
UPDATE, Nov 12 2014: Version 2.1.1 of the Simplest Reminder Free has been released. I fixed bunched of things and added minor improvements such as ability to choose more sounds.
Pro version now has Pop Up dialog option.
UPDATE, Dec 2 2014: Version 2.6.2 of the Simplest Reminder Pro has been released. I added new, analog style Time and Date pickers inspired by Google Calendar's app. They make picking date and time much easier and they look great too! I attached new screenshots.
Thanks for your interest!

Hey Teadious. What country are you in, if I may ask. I can enable it. For now only US and Poland are enabled. The reason is that my app uses this time format: 12/25/2013 which is standard in the US but not other countries (not even in Poland but I enabled Poland because other tester is there )
Thanks again for your interest.
EDIT: I enabled ALL countries. It will take couple hours for the changes to take effect.

I love this app! :cyclops:
Thank You all for the support. In just one day the number of installations went from 6 to 24! Awesome.
I spent few hours recently trying to find a very frustrating bug in my application that was causing reminders not to go off under certain circumstances.
I found a potential issue, fixed it and pushed updated version 1.2 to the Google Play yesterday.
I really hope that it will permanently fix it! However, if for any reason a reminder doesn't go off for you it would be very helpful if you could provide some details here or PM me (version 1.2 and up only).
Thanks!
EDIT: Just pushed version 1.3 to the market because there still was a bug. Third time a charm... Hope it is gone for good!
Today I pushed 2 updates to the market.
Version 1.4 is meant to put an end to the mysterious bug causing reminders not to go off (I am 100% confident I nailed it this time and it turns out it was not even a bug but rather a missing feature, lol - simply put, the alarms were not set after phone reboot [Android OS removes all alarms on phone reboot])
Version 1.5 introduces new option in the settings panel - now you can decide if screen should be turned on when reminder goes off.
Thanks for sharing your work!
A nice feature would be, if we can decide Yes/no Notification Sound per reminder.
So one is with notification sound as set up in settings, one without because of not beeing so important.

While this is a nice feature, I don't think I will be implementing anything that would add complexity or increase number of taps required to create a reminder. The main goal of my application is being the simplest to use out of all reminder applications in the market.
There are many great applications in the market that have all that complexity and extra features including colors, note priority, sound per reminder, vibration per reminder, repeatable reminders etc. The reason why I don't use those apps is because setting up a reminder takes a minute or so.
I realize that limiting the number of features in my app may turn some users away but at the same time I am confident that it will be appealing to users who expect mobile apps to be simple and intuitive to use.
With all that being said, I really appreciate your feedback and please keep it coming. I may actually build another application based on Simplest Reminder that would have whole bunch of additional features.
Will give it a try! Teamed up with NotifyMe or such, could be very useful indeed.
Nice app, but how hard would it be to add some sort of calender view when picking a date?
So instead of scrolling, you just tap the date/day.
Would that make the app more complex?
can I get an .apk? I don't always have an active internet connection.
Great app, but I'm afraid that U.S. date format does my head in...
looks great!
going to try this on my s 3 i9300 with Paranoid Android 3.00 )
Awesome, just awesome and it looks beautfiul!
Thank you so much!

Cinnamon is a beautiful and efficient grocery shopping list app. Cinnamon has features that are guaranteed to improve your grocery shopping and grocery list building experience. Here are some amazing features that make that possible:
• Sync and share your shopping list with others. Lists update within mere seconds of each other.
• Bundles allow you can group multiple grocery items together and add them all at once. Create a Bundle for your weekly grocery staples, create a Bundle for all the ingredients you need for a recipe, etc.
• Pantry helps you keep track of what items you already have. Purchased items are automatically sent to your Pantry. Once you've used up an item in your Pantry, you can send it back to your shopping list with a single swipe.
• Organize your list by using the predefined categories or create your own.
• Sort your list anyway you like.
• Keep track of the total price of all the items in your shopping cart.
• You can enter the amount and unit of the grocery item directly when adding.
• Automatic unit conversions.
• And many more for you to discover on your own!
Here are some WebMs of Cinnamon in action:

So you mean after you have purchased your items, you would like to save those items in history with an image of the receipt attached? I can consider adding that in the future, but I am buried with other features to add currently.

By all means no rush but yeah that would be exactly what I am talking about. It would help to see where the vest price's are located in a sense. Any who no rush and again awesome app.

I'll consider that in the future. Thanks!
Hi I just paid for this, very promising, really like the pantry and save for later list.
Would it be possible to display unit/total price on each item? So instead of just saying "1.5kg" of bananas, it would say something like "1.5kg @ $3 = $4.50"?
Edit: just found that the total is shown when swiping to the cart, but even so, it'd be helpful to have the option to display it in the buy list.
Hey, I have implemented a few requested features.
• Ability to set item as tax-free
• Ability to add notes to items
• Send list via email/text
• Barcode scanning (Beta)
Would it be possible to add the ability to create lists in lists?
I prefer to have a view of all items, some of them sorted by supermarket.
Code:
Main List
- Bread
- Milk
- Butter
> Walmart
- Apples
- Bananas
- Lamb Chops
- Shampoo
> Carrefour
- Noodles
- Eggs
> 7-Eleven
- Soda
- Ice Cream
- Peanuts
I'm also curious if you habe any plans to create a web interface, which allows premium users to check and edit their lists on a PC.
Hi Gary, I've been using Cinnamon since I saw it posted on Reddit (paid to support you) and it's the first grocery list app I've switched to and have kept using instead of "Our Groceries" which I have been using since all the way back in 2009 on my Moto Droid 1 !
Great app. The only "wish" I have is the ability to add/manage the list from a website while at a computer.

Nested lists would be difficult as the app is not laid out that way.
I want to create a web interface but that is a huge task so I am working on other features requests for now.

DutyManager is a simple application for people, small and medium sized businesses which manage on call duty.
It based on your pre-defined list configured on into the app and set up unconditional call forward for you.
This task is automatically triggered by a keyword found in the description of any calendar (synchronized or not) hosted in the phone. It's the first keyword which appears on the description on the event, separated by a space. Any keyword can be used (name, surname, trigram, etc ...)
STORY
This app was written after looking around some solution to manage our duty schedule during week-end hours inside my IT department. We've look around our IPX but it didn't offer any calendar system to shift automatically phone number. We've also found bunch of online apps which offers virtual phone number but prices were the limitation.
Therefore as we had an android spare smartphone where we manually forward call to people, I decide to automate all the stuff with Tasker. Since almost one year now, it worked well and now I propose this app for all with a GUI made with Tasker.
REQUIREMENTS
- a dedicated android smartphone (version 5.0 Lollipop and above) with the phone number that your contacts/customers/alarm system know
- a calendar synchronized on the device (even works a local one)
- DutyManager application
FEATURES
★ Manage shifts from google calendar website (or any calendar configured and synchronized on the device)
★ Customize short code to setup unconditional forwarding based on your mobile provider guideline
★ Manage your own list in an easiest way. Keyword (a name, trigram) + phone number
★ Add new contact remotely by text message
★ On-Call Reminder Notifications: Automatically remind duty contact when their on-call shift is begin with a customizable text message
★ Override on-call shift ("takeover"" on a scheduled contact) or check the status at any time, through text message (sms)
★ Any text message (sms) received on the phone is automatically forward to the duty contact (very useful for alarm system notification)
★ Be notify when phone battery is below 5%, battery overheating
★ For battery concern, calendars are checked every 5 minutes
★ Extended functionalities available if your device is rooted (clear popup, reboot phone remotely command)
COMING FEATURES
★ Manual import of contact list
★ and more..
NOTES
- Please verify that call forwarding is on your mobile plan. This application will not bypass plan's limitations
- Some carriers charge for call forwarding so please check with you carrier before purchasing this application
- Accessibility option has to be enabled in order for this app to work properly. Due to an android limitation, accessibility service must be enable for DutyManager in order to grab the result of MMI code query and catch the setup phone number.
- The best config for DutyManager is to plug your phone via usb on any "always-on" computer or on a wall power plug.

The full project has been published Oct.2017 on https://github.com/baudbox/DutyManager. Meaning that if you like my work ...
I really appreciated any feedbacks from anyone here. But please be gentle because it's my first app.
I've learnt a lot by browsing xda threads, asking and answering questions, so I use this thread as a "test platform" in order to check if my idea is good and if I can go further by bringing new features.

Good day Folks,
DutyManager is out of beta cycle and you will find a new release on Google Play Store.
Note that price for pro version has been decreased to 0,99 but for making happy users, the app is free for 1 week, starting from August 1st, 2017.
Enjoy
Hi, you were around more than 500 people who had downloaded my app during the free week and first, I want to thank you all :good:
Still get 144 active users now and sound like folks are happy with, as I didn't heard any complain nor getting any new request about feature. Sounds like all need have been filled, right ?
A new free period has been scheduled in a couple of weeks from now : from Sept 8th to Sept 15th
As said on another place, I'm not here to make money with this app but mostly to have fun and discover by the keyhole what could be a global process of launching an app.
I'm thinking about putting all the source code under Tasker format on my github for those who are interested.
Feel free to try the free version in // till there
Cheers!
Folks,
A new week of promotion > check it out, DutyManager is free
Any review and feedback are welcome.

Highlights
Users are now able to backup and restore the app state manually. Just select a Google account and backup, the app stores data in a dedicated section on your Google Drive storage.
From my tests on devices and emulators, the dynamic video player scales properly on devices running Android Nougat and above. The player still works on older Android versions, but it crops the video when the view is minimized. Unfortunately, the YouTube player library offered by Google is closed-source and I was unable to pinpoint the reason why it responds differently to scaling animations on older Android versions. If you find the player too unstable, please switch back to the static player in the Settings page or disable it completely.
Scheduled background syncs now start in foreground mode by default, which means the Android OS will not kill that process if it needs resources for other apps while Release Tracker is syncing.
The sync algorithm has been optimized, it's faster and uses a fraction of the amount of data it used in the previous version. Notifications will be generated for recent releases only. A release is counted as recent if the associated year is equal to the current year. If the current month is January or February, releases from the previous year are also counted as recent.
Please check the updated Help page for more details.
Notes
Over the next few months, no major features will be added. This app will continue to receive support updates (bugfixes). When I will begin working on another major update, I will consider all the suggestions received, starting with the one feature that was planned but didn't make it in this update, importing artists from your Discogs collection / wantlist.
Please report app crashes by pressing the report button.
If you notice any abnormal behavior inside the app, please send me a PM describing the scenario that caused that behavior, the device make and model and screenshots / video if you find that necessary for better understanding the problem.
What database are you using to find when new releases are out?
I am using the Discogs database. I forgot to specify that since the description is from the store listing where I am not allowed to mention other products. I will edit the post right now
Changelog for the latest update:
