Ambivalence
When I first recieved this phone I was impressed. Great screen, very impressive camera and I love the one button navigation. However after 3 days use, I noticed the phone was slightly bend. As with other phones (none with bending problems) I have owned it has been carried around in my front pocket and been laying on my table in the living room, that took away my positive impression. And it didn't helped that the repair center would not cover it through the warranty. However my mobile network operator , where I bought the phone, stepped in and covered the repair of the phone. So I have a little ambivalence towards the phone

The P10 plus bends? What are you? Some kind of a phone bender? That thing is solidly build. And just after 3 days too, take better care of your stuff man.

It is a great phone but the only thing that mars it is the software. And I'm not talking about EMUI. It needs to be better optimized. The battery drains like hell and the management for it sucks. Can't wait for 7.1.1 for this phone

Not bend by me (I had smartphones before like the Note 4 with no bending problems), but it must has been bend before I received it. Well , that was the conclusion of my mobile network provider. Cheers

What I like from this phone:
- Excellent call quality, louder than P9
- Strong signal reception & GPS
- IR, NFC
- Faster camera, less noise picture
- New navigation button
Dislike:
- Selfie picture, poor dynamic range, overexposed
- Main camera picture slightly oversaturated and less contrast
- Fingerprint scanner at front

GPS
Camera
Reception
Overall speed

Still on Android 7.0
Double app function doesn't work in my opinion
Neutral
Battery life seemed to be low, but now after a month it's seems better

Im totally in love with this fone. Great camera, great call quality, reception is awesome. The only thing im still confused is about the battery. On wifi for some reason it consumes more battery then on cellular network. And the overnight drain is just too much in my point of view. From 12am till 8am 12percent... Other then that im really impressed with it.

Easily the best phone I've ever owned great screen lighting fast good software and the battery life for me has been excellent 7 to 8 hours sot little bit of drain overnight only 6 to 7 percent. Overall it's the best phone for the money. Very happy customer.

Reasons not to buy an Honor 8?

I'm about to pack in my old, beloved M8, which has told me in no uncertain terms that its life is drawing to a close. I've spent way too much time researching, and arrived at the conclusion that the Honor 8 is my best fit. It's not as small as I wanted to be (I love everything about the Xperia Z5 Compact except that it cracks if you look at it funny and heats up enough to start a campfire), but the specs are there and the price is right.
The only real concerns I have left are the reports that it doesn't like to connect to LTE at times, even when there's a strong signal, and EMUI's taking away my app drawer. Are those real concerns, or just overblown? Is there anything I'm missing in terms of a reason to love or be wary of the Honor 8?
Thanks in advance. I'm seeing lots of reviews loving it, and Ars burying it because it's not a OnePlus 3, so that's reassuring.

Haven't had any issues with lte on tmobile.
Just install a custom launcher. I put pixel launcher and works fine.
My only concern is updates and dev support

Pretty damn sure I'm buying it then.
Hi, i think the phone is quite perfect, except for the chassis...is very easy to scratch it , and after just 7 days showed signs of wear on the rear
I'm too considering H8 but if true, this user review from gsmarena has a point(or two):
Since I had both(gave Honor 8 to my sister),if look at it straight objective...it's a no contest win for Mi5.
While the build quality is same, both are fingerprint magnets in specific colors, and looks is a highly subjective point,i can name few things Mi5 has the edge:
CPU + GPU is highly(and I mean HIGHLY) superior in Mi5 if u play games.
Screen in Mi5 is superior in everything to Honor 8 even in blacks.
Screen has Gorilla Glass4,Honor's...if it has any, manufacturers of it needs to be sued. Scratches like anything I've seen in my life from both front and rear. No keyes,no lighters,no change in pocket. It just does.
Sound is superior in Mi5 and I'm talking headphones here.
Dev support is slam dunk win for Mi5. Cyanogen mod official is coming now that kernel is released and community is more alive. XDA has signed agreement with Huaweii regarding dev of roms for H8 but devs are unwilling to work in unknown enviroment(Kirin) for now. So you're stuck with EMUI or what it's called. MIUI in Mi5 is no paradise either but at least u have options and they will be only bigger in near future.
Honor has better cam if you're a photo freak. To me,to my FB,twitter and instagram, they're the same in terms of performing.
So considering recent pricing that puts Mi5 3/64 version around 300-320$(delivery in EU,and pricing likely to go down as Mi5s announced for next week) I objectively cant see any reason to go for Honor 8.

And it seems to me,looking that other thread with complaints bout scratches + some reviews that have mentioned it,that phone is built with cheap materials and that is,personally a deal breaker for me.

Sand also scratches Gorilla Glas 4/5, to me personaly the device doesn`t look or feel cheap and both performance and batterylife is great. What more can you ask?
People don't carry sand in their pockets dude. It's like counter argumenting that crocodiles kill humans too when someone says that motor bikes are dangerous.
And i'm having my Xperia Z3C 2 years now, carried it in Thor Steinar bag with Zippo lighter, coins and keys(I miss sand tho) for 99% time,no tempered glass no case. Not a scratch on the screen.
Excuse me If i look for a replacement with same quility of screen(and overall) protection. I don't fancy buying a good looking phone just to armor it up like I'm heading to a warzone.
What about things like battery time, has it got a removable battery so it's not a brick or DIY project after a few years, will it get Android 7, 8 and so on. That far outweighs things like having Crapple A10 speed or 4K screen res. for me, hands down. Paying $1000 and you don't even get a notification LED on some devices, geez.
For the LTE connection I didnt find any problem as I already used for 2 months already.

Honor US, India and UK models provides updates for minimum 2 years from the date of release. i.e you will get update till Android O for sure.
Remember that Honor 4X which released in Kitkat is now running on Marshmallow. So you will get for sure.
Regarding Dev support, Since Honor has joined hands with XDA, it will be improved hopefully.

SOT is amazing, people are reporting 7h in average
the only downfall is the less durable screen on the back which is prominent to scratches.
I wish the back glass was as strong as the front
GPS bug and light sensor still not fixed
Current version (after last soft release) still has a very crappy light sensor and a huge GPS bug.
whenever you're indoor, GPS is reset to position 0;0, thus teleporting you in the Atlantic Ocean... and ruining every Driving app that was running at the moment.
Currently triggers in every long tunnel, 100% when indoor , randomly if your car windows are blocking GPS signals ....
I bought one , considering all the reviews (sponsored or not), but i had to sent it back.
Now back with my Z3C.

I dare not say it but GPS is dead on for me on Google Maps, even indoors. Auto backlighting in low light conditions is too low, have my H8 set on manual brightness in the evening. GPS faillure might very well be a hardware faillure.
See attached pic, indoors.

What would you like to see in the Mate 10?

I would like it to get ip68 rating, even bigger screen with bigger battery, better software, much better low light camera with f1.7 and larger pixels, better DAC and better stereo speaker that don't have distortion on highest volume.
I'd like to see them fix the problems with the Mate 9 first. Otherwise I'll be going back to Samsung.
Less bezel with the same screen size, wireless charging, and battery life as good as the Mate 8 was.

Go back to 6 inch screen. Qhd with 4000ish mAh battery. Switch to AMOLED even if they stick with 1080p.
Make the regular yearly upgrades to the specs.

Really?? I came from an S7 Edge AND a Note 4 and I think this phone is better for my purposes with no problems for me, albeit wanting IP98 certification and fast focus camera [yes, S7 had these but I was willing to forgo for other features]

I can't speak from experience, as I don't own one ATM.
I don't know what RR-99 is speaking about, but In align with his comment, the one reason I have not purchased this phone so far is the apparent issues with the GPS.
Regarding everyone wanting water proof capability, I would NOT trade an SD slot for that. I have a habit of avoiding water with my phones. I realize accidents happen...and did have my experience with a device in a toilet in the early days, so I am almost paranoid in my water avoidance.
The other thing I would like to see is 6gb ram. I know the pro has that, but it is smaller, and doesn't have the fingerprint sensor on the back. I like that. I did try a LG V20 for a while and came to really love that feature.
Oh...one other thing I'd like to see is an unlocked version that works on both GSM and CDMA. I would like to be able to go to a different carrier w/o need to purchase a different phone.
QI Charge IP68 Water Resistant
i would like to have on the Mate 10 QI Charge and IP68 Water Resistant

It doesn't have to be 1000$, the fact that sammy and iphone overpriced, does not mean others should be.
All of those can be done with 400-600$ phone, stretch it to 700$ if you will.

Doubt xda speaks for the majority.
Fan boy aside, I haven't experienced those issues. But then again I don't use social media apps.
pure nexus experience
less huawei bloatware, iaware is disgusting, so is the rest of their software that clutter this phone unnecessarily.
edit: also, maybe huawei should hire a ton of linux experts to tweak the android OS for performance
theres alot of tunables that can be modified for a better experience (i.e journaling, noatime, f2fs partitions, etc)
Bigger screen definitely. 5.9" feels small. Bigger battery or otherwise better battery life, though I seem to survive for about 3-4 days on a single charge, so it's okay as it is.
For the Mate 10 I wish no pre installed apps from Cheetah Mobile and/or Kingsoft (parent company).

Oh, looks like what I meant came out wrong. The 3-4 days are already amazing and I've never owned a smartphone with this good battery life before, but of course I keep hoping for improvement. I hope now I'm being clear enough. :good:
I would like to have not any problems with flashing - ROMs without Authentication, easy rebranding.
It would be great if Huawei will cancel their freaking desire to localize useful things:
- dark interface for all models, not for AMOLED only
- ability to hide navigation keys (not for Chinese firmware only)
- double tap 2 wake (not for a few devices only)

Honor made a phone with impressive phone with great build quality at such price range without any doubt.
Hands on to Honor
Coming from Samsung galaxy S7 Edge and LG v20 ( sold all flagship phones because of family issues ) i can say i am in love with this phone. Really nice display. Crisp and sharp. Good battery life with normal usage. Overall very happy with Honor 7X
I got this mobile recently. I am in love with this mobile. Camera is great and overall smooth performance. Battery has power saving mode for running more than 30 hours, with full charge
fast and reliable for daily use
Came from a Nexus 6P of two years and I love this phone!!
Love how easy EMUI theming is and I can make it look like stock android if I want to all without rooting and without the slowness that I found substratum can cause.
Easily getting 5+ hours of SOT on a daily basis; and only time I've noticed any sort of lag is when I haven't used the phone while sleeping; it unlocks quickly via fingerprint but the first app i open takes a second longer to open then its back to it's snappy self.
Love it! Thing is a beast!
Joined the crowd today with the Mate SE, WOW! What a Great Phone!
Sure, it's not a flagship, but it feels like one! and if it does most of what you *really* need, with such a great price, It's astounding really. I've spent some time Mate SE vs MI A1. It's subjective of course, but the SE has all the US bands, bottom line, if I'm out in the boonies, I want the best odds of being able to make that call.
Have been using it for an hour and did app updates, map downloads, etc. Hasn't heated up at all, cool as could be. Very Happy with this choice!
Just got this phone cuz my Galaxy Note broke, and i needed something ASAP. Although i didn´t expect too much from a phone in this price range, I´m still bothered by the mediocre camera, and a poor display with horrible view angles. I´ll keep it for a bit, the build quality seems decent, but that´s all.
Just got it 2 weeks ago. Good bye all other budget phones. It rocks
My Galaxy S7 committed suicide about three weeks ago and still having payments on it and trying to get out of AT&T without having to get into more payments this was an AMAZING choice. does everything i need it too and some. works way better than my S7 IMO, One week of use and i love it!
I wish I had heard of this company before buying all these second hand Samung/Motorola phones through craigslist just to save money, when I can buy a comparable phone brand new for a price that is cheaper. This phone is just an improved version of the Honor 7X.
My review is based off replacing a Samsung Note 4 and my work phone is a Galaxy S7.
Battery:
The battery life is superb on this. Seeing how my Note 4 had all this bloatware and these Samsung extras out of the box. The Note 4 couldn't even last through out the day with constant usage. This phone lasts through out the day, set it down without charging it for the night and it still has power.
Battery life is about the same as the S7, though.
Design:
Doesn't feel like a cheap, cricket phone. Feels like it has some weight, some heft to it. I am also impressed by the fingerprint technology on the back of the handset. It is much better and responsive then what the Galaxy S7 has. I never had to 'retry' my fingerprint as if it didn't register it.
Communications:
Haven't noticed any difference in terms of call quality or signal. Yet, my carrier is AT&T. The only concern is that the phone doesn't support 5G Wi-Fi.
Camera.
Unless something was wrong with my Samsung Note 4, this camera is much better than the Note, but similar to what the S7 has, or maybe even less.
Display:
I can't tell if this is part of the android or part of Huawei, but there are animations in the display which are interesting. From where you can see the display brightness slider move automatically to where texts seem to 'bounce' when you scroll through them. There is little bloatware and I like the drawer design of the apps. Screen is also bigger than my Note 4.
Also some people state the charging cable is different, yet my cord that charges my samsung phones can charge this phone.
At the end of the day, this phone can do everything a $1,200 phone can do.
Just bought new one from amazon, I will give my review very soon.
I've had it since the day after Prime Day. Love it. My only complaint is some of the bloatware. I also find the organizations of Settings in EMUI somewhat annoying. (It's like 4 clicks to get to the screen where you can choose a new wifi network.) Overall, this is a great phone and an incredible value.
Phone still going strong. My only major issue is that GPS is horrible with this phone. From Waze to Google Maps, the signal isn't consistent and drops when it comes to GPS. Never experienced anything like this, and it's been like this day one.
Great cpu performance. great battery life.
Poor audio output. Volume boosting apps don't work.
Rooting was easy, reverting... still need to wade through that.
Screen replacement wasn't too difficult, cheap (and cheap quality) parts on ebay. BEWARE! The battery pack is a gel pack that's glued on to the chassis. I ripped the battery open trying to remove it and had to order a new one.
The chassis is FLIMSY. After disassembling the phone to replace the screen, I saw that 1. the back cover is a flimsy bit of plastin (plastic or tin) and 2. the main chassis itself is a weak and flimsy bit of cast pot metal. This phone will bend and break very easily, which is what I suspect caused the screen to break so easily.
Overall, great performer, the sound issue may be addressed with newer Android, the chassis is in need of serious reinforcement.
The Honor 7X was one of the best budget phones of it's time. For under $200, this phone is a really great deal.

Someone's coming from G6?

Thanks in advance

Well, I'm coming from a G4 and even though I miss a bit the LG UI I can't say the OP6 isn't a good phone. It's a beast, RAM keeps apps open for so long that you will even forget that you opened them recently. Front camera is a huge step forward, massive dynamic range and colours very close to the real. The rear camera is ok but the difference between the two is almost non existent. I'm guessing it's because of the OnePlus camera software that doesn't make the camera work at its best. The autofocus is nowhere near as precise as the G4 was, there is visible post processing noise in night photos and those tend to get a bit on the reddish side. However, the flash is bright as hell and the light balance is perfect. Something I loved to do with the G4 was shooting long exposure photos at night. With this phone the job becomes a tad harder, mostly due to the crappy autofocus. When you manage to get a stable picture with no motion noise and balanced focus the result is pretty amazing. I would say the step up isn't worth it if you have a G6, hold on for another year or wait for the next V series LG phone.

Take in count that I've decided to switch the G6 afte more than a year because of the crappy battery life (I mostly use the phone under mobile network) and the more crappy reception, add to this the lack of development and updates from LG and the fact that, apart from the second camera, the main camera got worse than G5 and G4 for no reasons. This is why I'll never buy another LG, and why I've decided to switch on OP6

Alright, understandable.
I had an overall positive experience with LG (my G4 died of saltwater damage -at the beach my umbrella flew off in the sea with the phone attached to it-) so I'm sorry for you.
Don't take my review as gold plated though, I got my OP6 just yesterday so mine is a 24 hours first impression review. The OP6 is a great step up in terms of battery life, I used it quite heavily (constant social networking multitasking, high camera usage, chatting on WhatsApp, Telegram and Discord -no games or video recording tho-) and it covered a full day of usage no problem. Also it charges so damn fast that I'm not even charging it overnight anymore, it will just disrupt the battery's lifespan. Reception is amazing, at the moment I'm at my holiday home near the sea in southern Italy, my mom's iPhone 7 for comparison rarely gets in 4G and tends to lose signal standing very near to the sea while the OP6 is always in 4G if not 4G+ occasionally. You get used to gestures quite easily, just the recent apps tab takes a little more to get used to. Also the phone comes with a dark greyish clear cover with smoked sides and a flawless installed glass screen protector (that tends to hold fingerprints tho). No earbuds are included. Audio quality is very loud but not the clearest sound you'll ever hear. Call quality is just fine to me. In-ear volume with earbuds seems quite low but I guess it's just the crappy headphones I'm using ATM, also if I won't be satisfied in the future I'm going to install ViPER4Android and some other audio mods as I did on the G4.

You're welcome, if you have anymore questions I'll try to answer at my best
I'm a former G3 / G4 and G6 user. I switched to OP6 at day one. For me, the G6 seems a device that is years old and although It has an SD821, it turns out to have a slower and more heavy UI than my Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.
All this without considering the lack of sofware support. So I will never buy an LG smartphone again. Bye bye LG!
I'm coming from a G3 running Fulmics ROM (basically made the phone into a G5 software + root) and the OP6 is miles faster in every way. Spec wise it beats the G6 as well, although it is a HUGE phone imo.
Camera isn't the best, and there are some who do not like the display or OOS, but I can live with all of it. My G3 died (kinda sorta) and I had to get a new device. This is one of the very few out there that you can modify without going through big hoops and it won't break the bank. I'm not writing off LG, but based on how the US unlocked G7 has still not received bootloader unlock, I'm not holding my breath that any LG product in the US will ever get it again. LG really screwed over the dev community past the G4. If they were smart, they'd go the route of HTC and allow people to buy the phone directly and fully unlocked. Oh well.

Yeah, thought the same, I'm with LG since G2 and it's time to change, and never come back

LG is continuously making wrong and stupid decisions based on nothing, well, they'll keep going without me LOL.
I recently heard of the V35S arrival
And OF COURSE IT WONT BE SOLD IN EUROPE
What's the point of it? I don't understand!
The V30 for me was the perfect phone, only reason I discarded it was the front camera.
AND NOW THAT THEY UPGRADED IT OF COURSE ITS NOT COMING TO EUROPE
I won't change my phone till I finish high school (3 more grades to go, so 3 years) so this is something I shouldn't really bother about as my OP6 is brand new and I'm getting more and more satisfied with it, but I'm almost giving away all the trust in LG.
The features they pack (flat display on G6, wide angle, quality DAC and stereo audio on G7) are really all I wish on a phone, but the marketing decisions they make are absolute crap.

You're european? If yes, could you test with a GPS Test app if Galileo is supported from Op6? Thanks
PS: Nothing new for LG, ****ty choices for a ****ty OEM

I downloaded this app, GPS test, probably the very first on the search list in the play store.
Here it seems that Galileo is supported because my device is marked with a pentagon
Roaming around Reddit seems that Galileo support has already started from the OP5T
I'm not into GPS devices, what benefits do I get from having Galileo support?

Well then I wouldn't really mind his lack anyways.
I mean, to reach the post office that had my OP6 package I used my dad's Samsung Galaxy J5 2015 and the GPS worked like a charm. The output lag was noticeable only at very high speeds (over 100 km/h).
Yes! Seriously disappointed in the g6 although I'm probably switching to the 6T as being 15 makes getting money a little more difficult due to only working on weekends but the GYM gave me horrible battery life at about 4 hours SoT on average or worse.
Also noticed some burn in on my G6 which is very disappointing. Hopefully the 6T can last me at least 2 years until Uni as I really can't afford to pay any more money towards a phone.

Waiting for the next OnePlus phone doesn't make much sense as they come out every 6 months and there's still about 4 months more to wait. This one has everything you need (I'm 16 as well and I'm in your same situation), don't expect the camera modules or the design to develop any further for now because the sensors on the OP6 are already a step up from the past two generations. All you can hope for imo is the useless wireless charging, some fancy new colorway and if you're lucky better audio quality (the bottom speaker remained unchanged from the OP5) . Also it will cost more as well, personally I wouldn't pay 600+ € for a OnePlus phone.
---------- Post added at 09:36 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:31 AM ----------
All the OP6 needs is a camera software update (this one doesn't really make the sensors shine as they could) and some audio fixes that you can already get through modding. Nothing else imo.

I was following your same way of thinking from the OP5 (at the time I didn't had to change my phone though) and I insta discarded both the OP5 and the OP5T just for the OIS lack. As far as I saw that the OP6 had it I already knew I was going to get it.

I mean honestly that's all I need, currently don't have enough money to buy the op6 but I will for the op6t and I just want the newest rendition.

photo processing speed vs pixel 3

The photo taking capability of the Pixels is one of the biggest features. 3a has a slower cpu and (unconfirmed?) lack of Pixel Visual Core.
Did anyone compared a reallife photo processing speed between 3 and 3a? How long the 3a takes to save a photo, in the night mode especially?
Is it just a matter of process speed or will the 3 and 3xl produce superior photos compared to the 3a series?
When I was playing with a 3a XL at Best Buy, it seemed to take 3-4 seconds to process a picture - including night mode. If I took a picture and immediately opened it in the gallery, I would see the progress circle moving to completion. I don't have access to a 3 or 3xl to compare it to, but I suspect it is near immediate processing with the pixel visual core. I should also note that the camera is available to take more pictures immediately - you don't need to wait for the image to be processed before taking another picture.
So while there is a small delay processing pictures with the 3a or 3a XL, it is neither annoyingly long, nor does it prevent normal usage of the phone/camera. Honestly it will hardly be noticeable in normal operation IMHO.

It's my understanding that it is simply a difference in processing speed. The pictures with the rear camera are identical to the 3 series.
Of course the front facing selfie camera is different from the original 3 series, so the images from the 3a front camera are slightly different (or at least harder to compare) from the original, but the photo quality is nearly identical with the front camera too.

I did have the 3a for a few hours last week but ended up sending it back. The phone felt very cheap in my hands, camera was marginally better than my s9. All in all i felt the phone was from 2014 with a 2019 camera

Really? You thought it felt cheap? I don't get that impression at all. Feels nice to me. I don't like my phone's to be made of metal and glass. Plastic feels nice.

Let's not forget the fact that because the back isn't glass, you don't need a super bulky case to protect it.
When people say it feels cheap I respect their opinion but I personally think that it doesn't feel cheap at all, not even close. It actually feels really nice. Out of all the items that are made of plastic that I've used before, this is really good plastic. It's not low-quality plastic, this kind of plastic is beautifully smooth and you can tell it's very good quality.
I mean let's be fair here, not all plastics are created equal.
Some people put the 3a down because it doesn't have the best glass body/metal, a slower Snapdragon, no water resistance, etc.
However, If you want all those features on a brand NEW phone for $400 dollars then you live in a dreamland and need a reality check.
If you want all those features then go ahead and shell out the cash for a Pixel 3, or whatever else is in the market. It's not the 3a's fault.
The 3a is not the best phone out there, it's not trying to be. The amazing camera, screen, performance, quality, and the vanilla Google experience is great value for its price.
This phone is a very good phone for what it is. I'm personally very happy with my purchase, and I haven't been this excited about a phone in a long time.

It wasnt so much that though, the phone looked really nice and felt light and felt nostalgic holding a phone without glass and metal. But i was buying it to replace my s9+ so I was comparing it on that in which case obviously the s9+ will win. But it seemed to me they made too many cut backs. Audio quality sounded average. I checked in call speaker and too much sound leaked out. I also had some glitches whenever i clicked battery settings the settings app would force close. Also the snapdragin 660. I get it mid range and all that. But the fact is the 660 came out mid 2018 since then weve had the 670 and the newer 2019 710. So my 2 cents were if google want to make a mid range phone in 2019, then use mid range 2019 hardware and not give people a year out of date phone already. Its £400 in the UK and $400 dollars in the US. Makes no sense. If that phone was £250-300 I would have nothing to moan about. However for 400 you can get many top ranged phones 2nd hand.

You do know this phone comes with a snapdragon 670, correct?
Also, people keep complaining that they want a cheaper Google phone. Them one comes out they complain that it costs too much. This would have been the case if it cost $250. It would have been, "yeah it's nice but for $250??? I would have loved to see it cost $75 with all the corners they cut."
I'm enjoying this device immensely so far. Checks a ton of boxes for me. I use it to check email, make calls and limited social media. I am not a heavy gamer. Apps load quickly, battery lasts me through almost 2 days, screen looks beautiful, I thought sound was ok out of the box but it is worlds better after installing viper.
Good luck with your s9. I'm going to sit here and enjoy my 3a.

My bad 670. Oh well still a newer 710. Enjoy your phone. I may change my mind. Have to see how the development scene turns out. But with no lineage for pixel 3 or 2 series im not that optimistic.

99% of smartphones are released with outdated chipsets. There's ALWAYS a newer one. It takes time to develop and sell a phone based on the most up-to-date chipsets, which means by release time, the next one is coming out.

I prefer glass and metal but come on... 3a isn't cheap at all. It's a very beautiful phone.
