[CONFIRMED] How To Root Tecno W2 - Android General

Pre-Requisites
1- You need a PC
2- Sp Flash tools
3- Twrp recovery( search Google)
4- 7zip
5- mtk vcom drivers(also search Google)
Let's Begin
: 1st step install the adb,do it right then reboot
2nd step unzip the twrp folder and get to the the end where you will see a scatter file and the recovery image, then minimize
3rd step open the spflash tools folder then double click on flash_tool
: 4th step click on the choose button in the middle of the three choose buttons you see
5th step locate the folder with the scatter file and twrp
6th step, you will see only the scatter file, double click on it

The real rooting begins here

: Click the download button, then put off your phone and remove the battery,
Then connect your phone to the pc
: It will then install twrp
: Once a good sign on the screen of the laptop, unplug the phone
: Then put back the battery of the phone
: Then press and hold the power button and volume up button at the same time till your recovery shows
: Click on the install button on twrp, then locate the SuperSU zip I sent to you, click it and swipe to install, then reboot...
:You should see the SuperSU icon in your app menu upon reboot

How to root A110 using SP flash tools

Today I am sharing how to root MMX A110 using sp flash tools
First you need some things download below
1) CWM recovery

Now after downloading all things
1)Install The drivers in your PC or lappy whatever, window xp or 7 should be used.
2)Now first copy supersu.zip into root(out of every folder)of your phone's SD card
3) Now in developers option tick USB Debugging
4) Switch off the phone remove then replace battery and connect it to PC now your PC will install MTK preloaders.
5) Now remove data cable and don't turn on the phone, if its turned on itself then turn it off
6) Now open sp flash tools folder and open spflashtools.exe , search for the option "Scatter-Loading" and click on it and locate the scatter file you downloaded.
7) A list will appear then untick all except"Recovery"
8) Click on recovery and locate the cwm recovery you downloaded.
9) After selecting recovery insert data cable in PC and not in phone only connect one side i.e. to the PC.
10)Now click on download button and a countdown will start in the lower progress bar then connect your phone (in switched off state) Then a yellow bar and a green bar will appear and after that a green ring will appear saying "Download OK".
Your phone's recovery is now cwm.
11) Now remove phone and press Volume up volume down power key simultaneously and a mode will appear with two option recovery mode and factory mode.
12) Using volume up choose recovery mode and press power key.
13) then choose again recovery mode and press volume down key.
14) Now choose Install a zip from SD card and select"supersu.zip"And after installing it reboot your phone.
After rebooting you will find an app named Supersu
Hurray Your phone is rooted and now it has endless things to do.
Remember- Rooting void your phone's warranty

Qmobile x35 Custom Recovery

IFlash carliv recovery to Qmobile x35 and replace your stock recovery.
I have ported carliv recovery to qmobile x35 after modifications to use only on qmobile 35 using Carliv's porting guide so don't use on any other device.
First of all make backup of your full rom using mtkdroid tools.
Follow the procedure to flash recovery to your Qmobile x35.
1. Download the recovery_carliv.img and mt6572.txt scatter files attached below.
Rename recovery_carliv.img to recovery.img
2. Download SPflash tool. As the fastboot utility does not work in this device so only use SPflash tool. And download Mtk preloader drivers.
3. Open SPflash tool and go to download tab and then click scatter file to choose scatter file that u downloaded from here. It will load the scatter file in download tab.
4. Now only tick the recovery checkbox and then move your mouse in the same line towards last column and click it.
It will open window to select the recovery file u want to flash.
5. Now select the downloaded recovery.img and press open.
6. Now turn your mobile off and put out the battery
7. Now click download in spflash tools download tab to start flashing.
8. Now plug your data cable to your pc and your fone. It will start downloading.
9. When a green circle appers on your pc screen it means it finished flashing.
10. Now disconnect your data cable from pc and put your battery back to your fone.
11. Now press power button + volume up botton together untill qmobile logo appears and then release the power button but dont release volume up botton untill recovery starts on your fone.
Thats all.

How to [Root] XPlay P9i

First Of All make Sure you have a backup of your stock rom.
[Not Responsible If Your Device Bricks and All, Do it at your own Risk]
Step 1: Download SP-Flash Tool
Step 2: Make sure you have your scatter file for XPlay P9i if u dont have it then get it from here
Step 3: Download the Recovery (not ported by me all rights given to the porter)
Note: After Downloading both the files Put them into a folder and then load the scatter file
Step 4: Make sure to enable USB Debugging From Developer Options and connect your phone by removing the battery and leave it with USB cable attached with the PC.
Step 5: Open SP-Flash tool and Load the Scatter file and hit the download button and when its done it will show the green ring with a tick inside saying download ok
Step 6: Insert the battery and go in recovery mode pressing volume + and power button
Step 7: Flash the SuperSu Zip and voila its done.

Steps:
- Step 1: Download and Install the android USB drivers on your computer. In case you have already installed them, you can skip this step.
Step 2: Switch off you Android Phone .
Step 3: Now download the stock ROM or the custom ROM which you want to install on your phone. After downloading, extract the zip file on you system.
Step 4: Download the SP Flash Tool on your system and extract the downloaded zip file on your system. After that you can see the following files listed.
Step 5: Form the files listed run the Flash_tool.exe file.
Step 6: Once the SP Flash tool is started, click on the Scatter-Loading button located in the right side.
Step 7: Now locate the scatter file in your custom or stock ROM. It is generally located in the bin/directory.
Step 8: Now click the Download button to start the downloading process.
Step 9: After completed all the above steps, connect your smart phone to your system using the USB cable and press any button other than power button so that your system will detect your device. You can use volume buttons.
Step 10: Once the flashing process is completed, a green ring will appear on your system. Now disconnect your device and switch it ON.
Requirements:- Your phone must have atleast 40-50% of battery and USB Drivers

[Resolved] How to root Vodafone Smart Tab 7 (Tablet) VFD 1100 (Solved)

Hello,
After i searched almost 24 hours on the web for a way to root this stupid tablet, i find an unusual one.
I try to make it clear for all of you.
Requirements:
- PC running Windows 7/8/8.1/10 | You can use linux but I cannot guide you as how to setup adb drivers or preloader drivers,
- USB Cable,
- ADB-Setup file (see below),
- TWRP recovery aka recovery.img.zip,
- SP_Flash_Tool (SPFT),
- MT6580_Android_scatter.txt (see below),
- MTK_USB_All preloader usb vcom drivers,
- superuser.zip (don't confuse this file with phh superuser, they are not the same),
- phh superuser (install it at the end, on the tablet).
DO NOT EXTRACT the superuser.zip !!
You can extract all other files.
Flashing TWRP
1. Download the MTK_USB_All preloader drivers from the archive of this post and follow the guide on how to install.
2. Download the new SP_Flash_Tool from the archive of this post and extract it anywhere.
3. Open the SPFT folder and locate flash_tool.exe and RUN it as Administrator.
4. If it says anything like cannot locate scatter, press ok and ignore that message. Go to scatter loading and select your MT6580_Android_scatter file you downloaded.
5. Download TWRP recovery aka recovery.img.zip from the archive of this post.
Extract the archive to get the recovery.img file.
5.1 After you open the flash_tool.exe, look on the list from the scatter file for recovery; Follow step 6.
6. Select the recovery by pressing the little box next to it and then move over to location of the recovery and choose the recovery.img.
7. Power off your tablet, wait 1-2 minutes and then connect your usb cable to your PC.
8. Press Download at the top and then connect your tablet to your PC throught the USB Cable.
If you have the battery in and it doesn't work, wait until the logo of the tablet shows up then try again. If that doesn't work then try again without the battery.
8.1 When the Download is finished (you will see a red bar, then a green bar to confirm), if the tablet doesn't open up, remove the USB Cable from it and wait for few seconds.
Then the TWRP menu should appear. This should do the magic.
Rooting:
1. Download superuser.zip from the attached files and place it on your SD card.
1.1 ADB arhive has in it a ADB Drivers installer that only needs 15 seconds to do the trick. Please follow the instructions from there.
1.2 ADB folder will be located from default on partition C, or if you have another one, on the OS partition.
2. Reboot your phone to recovery using the command "adb reboot recovery" from a CMD runned as administrator from the ADB folder, or do it via external buttons.
2.1 When you execute the command "adb reboot recovery" the TWRP Menu will appear.
3. Navigate using volume buttons and select using power button, or touch if you want. Go to install from the TWRP Menu then choose superuser.zip from SD card.
Flashing should take only few secconds, then reboot your tablet.
4. Install phh superuser app from the arhive of this post and that's it. You will be rooted.:good:
