Is just my phone or does sRGB setting under Developer Options won't set or stick as a setting?
Can anyone else try?

It is broke, but its supposed to come back as a setting in /Display in the 1.16 update when it rolls out to a wider audience.

I had the same problem. There's an app that is installed in Malaysk's rom that is doing this. I forgot what it's called. I think it's MTC-something. Disable auto brightness control from within that app from starting and you wont have that problem anymore.
Only one I have I think is mtc sound I'll check thanks

It is the MTC sound one, it's weird down in the settings past sound options. There's something about dimming the screen, it makes the screen way way to dark and is default on.
Thanks I'll check it

Thanks again that seems too have cured it it is brightness controlled by GPS That needs too be adjusted or turned off

Hello everyone, does anyone know how to increase the sound on the pixel xl? It is still soft even with the volume on max. Is there possibly a app out there that would do this automatically?
Also in regards to screen rotation, i can't get the screen to rotate 180, where the charge plug is at the top, this would make it beneficial to using when plugged in. It rotates in either landscape position but not, the other way in portrait position. I am not rooted or anything like that, i usually do root my phone's but would like to keep this just the way it is. This phone is awesome, only 2 caveats i have about this phone. Thanks in advance.

Is ambient display supposed to pulse on and off every few seconds/minutes when there is a notification? It seems like on other/older phones it behaved this way.

What determines when it will pulse?

I'm not sure. Maybe the way the phone is lying on the table. I find it entertaining. But it is weird.

Does anyone have any issues with the color being darker on the middle of the screen horizontally, when night mode is turned on and with low brightness? I had issues with 9.5.3 and now on 9.5.7. 9.5.4 did not have the same issue.

I don't ever use night mode myself, but perhaps this is worth a shot... Check out the "OnePlus Laboratory" settings menu and turn on the experimental DC dimming (or perhaps it's on already and you need to turn it off?). This is totally a shot in the dark though.

I left my phone on the pad for charging and accidentally, looking for something else in Settings, found a rather strange set of settings...
Namely its was set for "adaptive refresh rate 120 Hz" + screen resolution on "WQHD+ 3088 x 1440" also Power mode was on "Optimized" ...
The option to change to adaptive refresh rate 120Hz was marked as "On" but at the same time was not highlighted as changeable...
It looks like 120 Hz active and working on WQHD+... Or it was just some glitch in the system...
Did anyone encounter maybe the same...
Do you have adaptive power saving on in power mode setting?

Yes, that was set "On"...
I think I know what your phone did. If you had it set to wqhd and 120 hz prior to the phone going into power saver mode it got "locked in". That's why I think your unable to change it back.

When is set to "Off" it didn't work that way...
So it's kinda tricky... I used quick shortcut maker and had motion smoothness as a shortcut. Change the refresh rate to 60 then have the shortcut maker selection on 120 but don't click apply it yet... Change the display to qhd and back to the shortcut and click apply. Settings are set but it's not 120hz

There is no such thing as WQHD AND 120 hz, it's either one or another...so he couldn't set it prior to anything

While the both don't happen at the same time... It's possible to get those settings to show at the same time.

Yes, I know that. Why I quoted that post was due to the allegation that probably the user got the issue because he set both resolution and refresh rate that way before... I just stated that this is not possible
