What are your problems on the ROMX and why aren't you posting about them in the ROMX thread? I've used the ROM aswell and rarely had issues on it.
I suggest you post your issues on the ROMX thread, and im sure you will get some help if someone (maybe myself) can help you with it.
If that won't be the case, ill help you to go back to stock or move to another ROM

I asked there a month ago and tried the solutions but the problems are continuing (WiFi drops and restarts every 5 to 10 mins). So I thought downgrading could maybe solve the problem.

Oh I see, sorry I missed your post there then (or I forgot about it).
Have you tried to clean flash the ROM again? What version of ROMX are you running?
All you have to do to go back to stock Sony ROM:
- Download flashtool and in flashtool go to Xperifirm and download the latest firmware for your device model.
- After downloading the firmware you want, you'll have to click the lightning button and chose flashmode.
- Select every box under wipe..
- Turn off your phone and plug it in your usb port on PC with USB cable while pressing volume DOWN button (green led should light up)
- Click flash to start the flashing process.
You can flash MarshMallow 5.11 firmware, or if you want the latest android version then download 32.3.A.2.33 Nougat firmware.
- Make sure to backup your files first before flashing anything.
If you need more help let us know

I did all of this and downgraded to Lollipop and still same problems. Wiped again and upgraded to Nougat and still the same issues. Although I'm sending this from my phone, the random restarts still occur and the WiFi sometimes doesn't work and says 'Turning on' and the on switch is greyed out. Any help?

Have you tried wiping everything in flashtool even ssd and all, if yes then maybe your battery is damaged and phone has not enough power to work properly.

Soft bricked Tipo

Hi there,
1. I am fed up of my Tipo's lagging touch (responding after half an hour, miscaliberation). I update the firmware using Sony companion and tried to install one of the Jelly Bean roms on the stock ICS using CMW. It some how soft bricked my phone. Can any one tell the reason?
2. With lot of effort I installed the stock ST21a 11.0.A.4.22 Sony Generic kernel (using Flashtool). It is same laggy and miscaliberating. Did I not reformat, similar to PC? shouldn't it be fresh and new ?
3. I am not trying to install JB rom. What is the correct way to install? Should I worry about any seperate parts like Kernel?
4. To install JB rom (Paranoid Android) I tried to root the device, but the flash tool says "no root exploit for this version". If i cant root. I cant install CMW. I cant install frest rom. Is there any other way to install ROM?
I am stuck in the above points after my research, and will appreciate your help.
Thanks in advance

@OP: have you tried this:

It's an .apk that let's you recalibrate your touch(official patch by Sony).

Yeah, but those two have the same effect. Repairing with PC Companion is exactly the same as flashing a .ftf. And if that didn't work, PC Companion won't.

Xperia E3 broken

Hello. I have broken my XPERIA E3. I had cyanogenmod 12 (works in 5.0 android) there and I wanted to get stock ROM. I tried to flash 4.4.4 android, but now I can't do anything. Phone turns off, there is "SONY XPERIA", and after that it turns off. I can't stop it, but I can wait when the phone gets discharged. After that I can use ANDROXYDE FLASHTOOL FOR XPERIA, but I don't know what can I flash. Please help me .
It does not matter if you give me tutorial to get stock ROM, or stay in the cyanogenmod. I need only make the phone work. Please. When I'll fix it, I will never install alternative roms or something like that. thanks.

I don't understand you bro... I can use the POWER button. But I don't know what I have to flash .
I suppose that since you were using cyanogenmod, you had model number D2203.
Explain to me:
-How did you flash 4.4.4 stock?
-Did you have a backup?

Rooting stock MM? [Resolved]

Is there a rooting method for MM? I've looked through the threads and it's all about the MM custom roms which I don't have. I'm using upgraded MM OS. I tried to downgrade to LP using the mobile Q and it stayed on MM and reset my phone to default ((lmao)). I'm not exactly a wiz, but decent enough at this but I love this phone and want to use it to it's full potential.
I'm on the cricket service using idol 5.5 ((model 6045i)) if it matters. If I missed a thread that I should have read, forgive me and just point me in that direction. Thx!
Happy rooting!
You may have to downgrade to stock lp first.

Panasonic Eluga wasn't able to detect the device although I've installed drivers and reset the pc and phone. Nothing worked. The link you provided for me helps but didn't work for me to allow me to downgrade. But thx for taking the time out to help me! Any help is appreciated.

If not, I believe it's Power + Up/Down volume at the same time.
I went ahead with the Panasonic Eluga software, took some work for it to detect my phone. But got it to downgrade to 5.0 and flashed the AlekOS ROM with no problems!

I also have a cricket 6045O and installed panasonic eluga. After I get alekOS/FlyOS installed do i need to install any cricket ( usa) modem to get 4g LTE? (i imagine the panasonic modem is not compatible or is the modem built into the new ROM)?

no I got LTE perfectly fine after I used the Panasonic method to downgrade to 5.0. It's usually the ROM that causes u to lose LTE . CM12.1 ROM by The Marionette is the best to use and guarantee to keep ur LTE speeds if nothing goes wrong during the flashing process ^.^ Plus its amazingly stabled and fast.
To get into download mode, press and hold volume up+volume down+power.
hi, I'm desperately looking for a method to root stock MM for the 6039 model... any idea?
Thank you so much
bouldou, I suggest to you try using the Panasonic Eluga Software to downgrade from MM to LP. As far as im concern, there's no way to root MM yet. Just make sure ur PC download ur alcatel's drivers before doing so.

I had trouble getting mobile q to detect my phone the first time, took about 10 tries putting it into different boot modes before it was finally properly detected.
Once you get it to work the first time, it'll work without even entering that download mode. Eluga is the same.

Note: GPS fix is optional - if your GPS works fine just ignore it.
Please follow the !_ReadMeFirst.txt:
Code:
Installing Samsung USB Driver
-----------------------------
1. Disconnect from internet (to prevent Windows Update overriding the drivers).
2. Run the Setup.exe (when finished, you'll see info that installation was unsuccessfully - that's fine).
3. When done, turn off you phone and power it up by holding: Vol.Down + Home + Power.
4. Push Vol.Up as requested and connect phone to your PC with USB cable.
5. Wait for drivers to install/recognize the phone.
6. Hold Power button until phone shouts down.
Before flashing anything with Odin
----------------------------------
Always TURN OFF your phone and enter
Download mode by pressing and holding
Vol.Down + Home + Power. Next press Vol.Up.
Then:
1. Run Odin on your PC.
2. Connect phone to USB.
3. Press BL button and select: BL_N9005DXSGBQA1.tar
4. Press CP button and select: CP_N9005XXUGBPI1.tar
5. Press Start button.
6. When phone restarts you can disconnect it from USB.
If you experience problems with GPS
-----------------------------------
Override your gps.conf(/system/etc/) file with the
one in "\GPS fix\gps.conf"
Back up your original file - just rename.
Restart phone.

The bootscreen logo has nothing to do with boot-loader AFAIK. The N9005DXUGBOK3 is quite old (2015) and it is from Singapore ROM not EU.

Europe networks and phone models .
I was having the same problem like you.But last month i found the cure. Not the bootloader is the problem. The modem.I updated to last bootloader and modem and when i try gps i saw a lot of sattelits but no lock. Also i remember last year i have an older bootloader and an older modem ( PI1 ).I tryied 3 different new modems and bootloader but the same. Then i remain with new bootloader and try that modem. And all was good.A lot of sattelits and lock in seconds. So modem is the big problem. ?

Cannot help much if there is no details on what your phone bootloader/firmware versions were before flash, and what versions you were trying to flash.
If you were flashing a lower version of BL to your phone, you can flash your original firmware back to your phone.
If you were flashing a higher version of BL, you will need to find a new version of BL/firmware , such as the latest U firmware, to Odin into the phone..

If you were flashing a higher version of BL, you will need to find a new version of BL/firmware , such as the latest U firmware, to Odin into the phone..

Since you mentioned a Google account, just make sure you know the user and password of the last working Google account on the phone. Sounds like you tried to flash a firmware with an older bootloader.
And if you don't know that info and were trying to carrier unlock it via some back door method, don't follow the thread that I just linked.

Do you receive an error message when flashing? Also, have you tried another USB cable and make sure you use an usb 2.0 port too.

no error message it flashes successfully with odin but when the phone itself starts to update the firmware after 33% it just reboots then fails. then i get a error screen and well no recovery. no one locally seemed to be able to fix the issue either so update: i sent it away to try to fix. https://imgur.com/a/knxKIKM
