[Completed] Help with a bricked Asus ME302C - XDA Assist

My Asus ME302C is bricked and the factory reset did'nt help.
I see the following info in droidboot menu
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IFWI VERSION: 51.33
SERIAL_NUM: 11111111111111111111111
DROIDBOOT VERSION: Local Build or ENG version
PRODUCT: US_EPAD
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
From what I have red on that forum for similar cases, I have two options. 1- Put the correct .raw firmware on a sd card or 2- Use fastboot commands
The problem is that I can't find the .raw firmwares that would fit with my tablet. I suppose my tablet is a US version and not a WW, but I dont know what version exactly is already installed. Can I find .raw firmwares for this model in US version somewhere?
The second option, using fastboot would be complicated as I can't find or install the windows driver to make my computer recognize the tablet when it is plugged with USB.
Anyone have suggestion for this problem? I would appreciate if I could have a link to download .raw firmware for US version of the Asus ME302C tablet.
Thanks!

First, you should need to know which actual model of your MID.
MaPan & a few variants model mostly came from Eken W70 by different modules, mostly they change using different Touch Panel Chip Controller, you should have know it.
Even Eken W70 is came from different PCB version that they modified the board quite frequently.
Try to browse the "FirmwareInstall\config" folder, you should see the Brand name & Model no. .fwc file.
To select the right one to flash your device is just put the "+" in front the .fwc file.
If you haven't found one suitable, just try to search the different source of W70 WM8850 firmware, you might see a collection of different .fwc config file there.
Give a few tries, then you should able to find out what Touch Panel Controller is using.

[Q] Samsung Nexus S : boot, recovery mode, download mode, root install... problems

Dear all,
I'm sorry if it is not the good place to ask help but i search a solution on forum, blog, google... and i'm blocked.
I have a samsung nexus s which coulnd't boot. It stay with "Google" on screen.
I try to find the recevory mod, in order to make a factory reboot, but the recovery mod is broken also. The little android robot is open with a red exclamation mark.
I have this information on the boot menu :
Fastboot mode
Product Name : HERRING
HW Version : REV 52
Bootloader version : I9020XXLC2
Baseband version : I9020XXKI1
Carrier Info : EUR
SERIAL number : xxxxxxx
Lock State : Locked
I try a method with ODIN, i try to root the phone, but the system is shut. ODIN failed, the root also failed even if the phone is half reconized with the kies samsung driver.
So i don't know what to do now... lose the information isn't a problem, i just want a working phone.
Someone could help me?
Thanks a lot,
pS: i'm french, sorry for my english
And i did a mistake first time, in posting in the wrong section http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2078419
Download this: http://goo.gl/0K6eh then install it.
Instructions:
1. Select the CORRECT device and build (what you are currently running) <-- Select the EXACT device model. For example: i9023, i9020A, etc.
2. Configure your drivers if you haven’t already using the driver guide (If you aren’t sure use Step 3 of the driver guide to test your drivers).
3. If you need to backup your important data.
4. Unlock your device
5. Root your device
*Try out the other toolkit features by pressing the buttons, each button explains what it does first. So the best way to get familiar with the toolkit is simply to press the buttons and read what it says.

You'll have to wait until you receive and install the motherboard before any decisions can be made.
The motherboard you receive could be unlocked or locked and will not have the same serial number as the one you now have. It may have the latest JB 4.2.1 firmware or ICS 4.0.
This is not a bad thing as it gives you time to verify the SKU issue and such (sorry, I don't know the answer to that issue).
Once installed collect your new motherboard info and post the firmware version, locked or unlocked, etc.

Searching I found several threads going from us to ww and ww to us. This is the only one I found with directions. The op went to and from ww and us. You will need to use the proper firmware version. You didn't state what version you have so go to settings about tablet and look there.
You'll need to unzip the firmware once and use the resulting zip. Here is a link with all firmware and many other things you may find of use.

Hello
Thanks for the help ...
Yes I've seen and my firmware version and the U.S. version ...
Ie I can not change to another correct firmware, I'll have to update this?
The tablet works but, in relation to the keyboard do not work will be for not recognizing the firmware?
Should he work right, even with a new board of the U.S., and European and tablet?
thank you

Not knowing your current firmware version I'm not comfortable suggesting specifics.
Assume you look in Settings/About tablet/Build number you should see your sku and version number. If you download the same firmware version number but sku ww you can unzip once and copy to root of your internal sdcard (/sdcard). Wait a few minutes for update notification. If you don't receive the notification a reboot will probably activate it.
My dock did not work properly on the latest update firmware version. I used the method listed above and kept the same firmware version as what was already installed. After a reboot my dock began to work properly.
I don't believe there is an electronic difference between the us motherboards and the ww motherboards. The serial numbers do vary and the specifics escape me at the moment.
I'm hoping someone who has had this had this situation will post a comment.

Yes that is what I was suggesting.
Now with your firmware version I can give you a specific link. You will find the firmware here.
Don't forget to give philos64 a thanks while there. Asus has long since stopped making this version number available for download.
The exact firmware version number is available in ww sku as what is now on your tablet.
Good Luck!

Unzip firmware (WW_ epaduser9_4_3_30UpdateLauncher.zip) once and use the resulting zip (WW_epad-user-9.4.3.30.zip) for your update. The file is placed in root of Internal Storage not your plugin sdcard. I said internal sdcard because the path is /sdcard or /mnt/sdcard if using a file manager or pushing with adb.
When connected to your pc this would be the root of Internal Storage not in a folder.
Sorry for the delay. I downloaded the file so I could give you the proper name once unzipped.

That method does sometimes fail. Here is another. Rename WW_epad-user-9.4.3.30.zip to EP201_768_SDUPDATE.zip, boot to recovery (RCK) Power & Volume - and select. Stock recovery should take over and do your update, allow plenty of time for completion and booting.

I believe you said unlocked, is that correct?
If so you should be able to flash the blob located inside your zip. Unzip your file again and place the blob in the folder with fastboot.
Then:
fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash system blob
fastboot -i 0x0B05 reboot

If you are on 9.4.3.30 through 10.4.2.20 you would use version 7 unlock app. If you are on the 10.6.1.8 or higher you would need the version 8 app.
I don't know that unlock is required to do what you wish but I don't know of any other methods to update without unlocking.

I think I did something I should not be good ...
The only thing I could do was get the latest version available for the TF300T USA version .. 4.2.20 Jelly Bean ...
Now I can go to fastboot, but it will not let me make root with asus application of unlok ... I think this version does not allow ...
Even for me to change the kernel, it is necessary to unlock the tablet right?
thank you

Firmware for Allwinner A13 CA0498A 1AN1

Hello XDA-dev community!
I need a stock firmware (or anyone which will work) for the 7-inch A13 android tablet below (I don't know the model)
I've opened it up and on the main chip, it's written:
Allwinner A13
CA0498A 1AN1
There's also a sticker with the following info:
M1190FA v1.01
and a serial number beginning with "HD1211..."
The tablet is current locked, with USB debugging disabled, so my only option is to flash it with LiveSuit.
I've searched all over the internet but I could not get the image.
Would be grateful if anyone could please give me a link (any firmware which would work)
Thanks!
