Has anyone tried removing a dbran skin from the glass area on the back of their Pixel? I've had the carbon fiber version installed for a few months, but now I'm looking to change it up. Just wondering if I will have any issues of the skin leaving residue on the glass or something else?
Thanks in advance.
They will not leave a residue. There might be some dirt accumulating around the edge, but it will wipe right off.

Anyone can make a pattern for nexus one skin? i want to cut and make it from 3M car sticker. the patttern of shild, guard can be scan and public?
Thanks
If someone has the BSE that they haven't installed yet... that would be ideal. I haven't seen anyone with the corner coverage as good as theirs..
What kind of 3M car sticker are you going to use?
I tried the "carbon fiber" 3M vinyl sticker on my laptop and cut it up using exacto knife to match the laptop's shape/corners. It's decent while the sticker still in there, but when I peel it off it left a really nasty residue from the adhesive. I wouldn't want that kind of residue on my old G1, let alone on my soon to come N1. but then again, maybe you got better/newer ones that won't stick as bad.
Just my 2 cents.
P.S.
I also have full body clear shield for N1 from Bestskinsever that I haven't install yet since I'm still waiting for my N1 to come. I could try scanning that for you if you want but I don't know how good my scanner can differentiate the actual clear shield with its white background. PM me for details
Hi, I bought this case for my gold s6
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UCZGXW2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00
I love it but the back of the case has weird rainbow effect smudges on the inside where the clear plastic meets the glass. Any remedies for this? Thank you

That is due to some oil/liquid stuck in between the phone and the case. You can try to clean it off with rubbing alcohol and/or get a back plastic protector.

i will try out the rubbing alcohol, though I don't think it is good for plastics. Also, I am not sure if a back protector would fit, this case is extremely slim and tight fit.
Had similar problem and this will be solved with standard film back protector (better with matt finish) and case still fits.
Hey guys,
Just got my Dbrand skin set, but I'm kinda scared to use it right now because it doesn't have any protection for the screen, I ordered screen protectors which I will cut so that they will fit together with the Dbrand, but don't know how to do it.
Does anyone have experience with Dbrand and screen protectors and could give me some advice?
I've installed 4 dbrand skins on my pixel now but never the screen protectors. I always had a tempered glass protector on. The screen protector seems like it might start peeling up in the corner areas over time after pulling in and out of your pocket. Do you have a case over the skin too? I have the wrap around skin and .35mm Cali case on mine and it fits really snug.

Well I do have a case, but after applying Dbrand I don't want to use it anymore. Did you install your dbrand over your tempered glass protector or are you using it without one?
I have a Black nexus 5 whose back case had a matte finish until it recently started to peel off. I can see that the original casing under that coating is shiny. If I deliberately peel all of it (to make sure my device doesn't look torn as it does now), will it come out all shiny and smooth, or will it have scratches on bad texture?
I know that the peeling problem is with many users but has anyone reached a stage where the coating was completely gone?
I've seen stuff here and there in other threads but it's been a while and I no longer recall what brands people have had success with.
I'm looking for any and all suggestions on screen protectors for the inside screen.
I'm also curious what adhesive people are using to hold the cases to their phones. I'm someone who will periodically remove my case or switch cases and seeing as they use adhesive, I'd like to have some more on hand in case I need to re-do any of them.
Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions!
I've been using the Ringke cases with swapping them out no issues... They have a padding not adhesive and hold in place nicely... I have not changed the inside protector yet... Ordered Ringke one from Amazon to try but will hold off a bit.. I saw on reddit a post about applying Smitty glass wax to screen and its much better for keeping smudges off my phone...
