Anyone tried syncing their PS4 DS remote to the Z Force? I can get it to sync and it shows up as a controller but can't actually control anything on the Z Force. I've done this many times with other tablets and devices but something about the Z Force.

I was wondering whether anyone had access to a complete system dump which would allow us to extract the drivers, libraries and applications to make this possible on other android devices?
I asked Clove if there was any news about PS3 controllers on other Sony phones...
"Sony have pushed updates for the Z to use PS3 controllers and the functionality is available on the Z Ultra and Z1. You have to first connect the Dualshock3 via USB with a USB OTG cable and select the pairing option from the settings. The controller will then pair to the phone rather than the Playstation when turned on. You can reset back to the console with USB like normal."
I'm having trouble connecting Ipega's Bluetooth Gamepad on my Xperia E Dual (c1604). The device is paired, but it doesn't connect. Buttons doens't map on any emulator (fpse, snes9x, etc). Plus, the led on the gamepad keeps flashing, as if it was waiting to connect. Any program to help my device connecting to the phone?
Thanks in advance!
ps. I searched the forums and google and couldn't find anything... ;/
So i have an Xperia Z and a friend has an Xperia T. Together we watch a lot of movies on the MHL of my Z.
It would be much more comfortable for me if i didnt have to sit up and manually change/pause/forward the movie/episode.
Is there an app which i can install with which i can control my Xperia Z with my friend's Xperia T?
Bluetooth would be preffered although i do have a wi-fi in my home.
Screen Standby 2.0 B2 and aVia
I have a Notion Ink Adam and a galaxy note.
I use the adam to connect to my TV via its HDMI out and then use my note 3 to stream movies directly via wifi to the adam, which then displays it on the TV via HDMI.
for control of the tablet, i use Screen standby 2.0 beta 2 version. aVia is the video streaming and playing app.
screen standby has a remote controller feature which connects with any other device running screen standby via wifi.
you need to install both apps on both phones. set aVia as DLNA server on the phone from where u have movies stored and as DLNA renderer on the phone which is connected to TV.
i don't know how tech savvy you are, but have a look at these two and let me know if you need any more guidance on how to set them up.
cheers!

Is it possible to use remote play over the internet on the z3? I dont have a z3 yet but should have one soon and a big selling point for me was remote play. Today i have been thinking that it may be possible to use remote play on it out and about (assuming fast enough internet speed, which mine should be). Even if there isnt an official way it should be possible with something like a vpn to convince eveything they are on the same network. What seems like it could be the biggest problem is how the controller connects. If it is direct to the ps4 then I cant see any way to work but if it through the phone it seems possible at the very least.

It's really easy to connect a ds4 controller to your Xperia z3 through Xperia connectivity in settings. No wires involved.
Im almost certain the ds4 connects to Xperia z3 and not the ps4. Otherwise it wouldn't really be remote play.
Now connecting through other nets we'll just have to wait and see. But after seeing a few youtube videos showing it work almost perfectly without any sort of lag or delay I too cannot wait.
Edit: not yet released should be coming November.
I am really looking forward to my Z3 and to remote play (I don't have a vita). But I really hope it will be possible to use it out of the house. It is not something I have thought about before and it isn't a deciding factor on the phone, but now that the thought has crossed my mind I really truly want it to happen ☺
