Need help - AT&T LG G3

So after flashing my D850 from 4.4.2 to 7.0, I cannot access TWRP recovery. Ever since I flashed the rom, I keep getting these 3 errors:
"boot certification verify
secure booting error
cause:boot certification verify".
I can still boot into 7.0, but it's not fully functional. It's missing apps, functions, keeps crashing, etc.
Any suggestions to fixing this?

Only solution is to flash back to stock. CM normally seems to loose access to twrp. Not sure if there's a simple way of getting it back but normally all I know is flashing back to stock

Thank for replying. Is there a good tutorial out there you can post on how to flash back to stock rom please? My current 7.0 rom won't even let be root my device.

You would follow the tot method, and be sure to choose board_dl when you choose the tot and dll file in the software

After clicking on my device under portable devices in device manager, the only options I get are general, driver, details, events, power management. I'm using Windows 10 to do this.

I'm honestly about to throw my phone against a wall right now. I cannot boot into download mode anymore, my computer won't allow me change the port settings, the only thing I can do is enter the rom. USB debugging still works and I can transfer files, but everything else is broken.

So your using a USB 2.0 only port right when trying to put the device into download mode?
I still dont understand why your saying it wont allow you to change the port settings? I've never ever seen this. If the port is there you can change it. Remmeber your phone HAS to be in download mode for the com port to show up to change it to com41. Why not try LGUP?

LG G2 D80020c AT&T ONLY Kit-Kat Firmaware

Here is the D80020c 4.4 .tot and .dll for AT&T D800 ONLY. This will not retain root and will wipe all your data and internal sdcard. Make a back-up of your important items before preceeding.
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING YOU WITH YOUR OWN DEVICE
Don't forget to hit the thanks button
***Quick Questioned Answered***
1.Can be flashed over D80010d and D80010o firmware
2.You will lose Root
3.NO WAY TO ROOT YET
4.You can use Lg Flash Tools to go back to 10d,10o.
Download:
1. LGFlashTools v1.5 - Download
2. Drivers - Download
3. Download the LGD800AT-01-V20c.zip (Mirrior)
Extract to a folder on desktop. There will be 2 files(.tot, .dll)
Credit to @madmack for making most of this Guide for the G Pro Which also works on our G2.
Credit to @hyelton for the original write up in the General section here.
Install:
1. Install the LG drivers downloaded above.
2. Install LGFlashTools v1.6 (but don't run it)
3. Extract the TOT and .DLL file from the ZIP
Drivers initialization:
1. Put the phone into download mode. (Turn off device PRESS VOL UP while plugging in the micro usb cable. If this doesn't work, try holding both volume keys instead)
2. Let the phone initialize and install the drivers. Once done, in Device manager, you should see the LG phone listed under COM ports (something along these lines).
3. Find that LG entry in Device Manager, click on Properties, Advanced and then change the COM port to COM41 and close/save.
4. Unplug your phone! Important step.
LGFlashTools:
To get this tool to work, you'll need to do a few tricks.
1. Set the computer's date to some time in July 2012 or before.
2. Disconnect the internet
3. Find a serial number or register key from somewhere on the web (a google search for lgflashtools serial will yield some results). Can't help you here and please don't share any keys in this thread or get us in trouble.
4. Execute the LGFlashTools. It should ask you for a key, put it in. Now you should see a dialog where you can load the DLL file and the TOT files that you extracted earlier. Put them both in here. Click ok
Flashing:
5. There is a yellow arrow on the top left. Click on it to initialize the process. Once done, it should say "ready/finished" or whatever.
6. Put the phone in download mode again, and plug it into the USB port. LG FLash Tools should start flashing it automatically. When it's done, it'll automatically reboot into your stock AT&T rom and all of your data and internal sdcard files will be gone.

I believe you can flash this from D80010o. I think I did it once to verify, but it was a long night. There is no root or recovery unless you count the stock one.Yes and yes.

Before you start any actions to modify the phone, you should get it repaired by the vendor. Its not even a year since the model was released, so you should have still guarantee on it.

Bump! unlock your bootloader, then you will be able flashing roms via recovery. BUT its really risky if your phone has no working USB port as you cant flash the stock firware if something goes wrong.

Just follow my LG G3 back to stock guide if you wasn't already.
That error usually means your using a USB 3.0 port. Make sure your using a USB 2.0 port only!
The tot method is the ONLY back to stock method for AT&T LG phones.

Was hopi that wouldn't be the case. The reason I did that was becasue TWRP was not seeing my 64gb card so I could do a Nandroid(not enough space on internal).
Guess I have to wait until I can get home to find my old 32gb card so I can then download the ROM again and then flash.
Ended up having to reintsall rom and do a complete wipe because even after dirty flashing, I kept getting an error saying Home had stopped.

[HELP!] GPS not working after updating to Marshmallow!!! - D850

Right after I updated my D850 to MM, my GPS doesn't get a fix on location properly. Sometimes it just does not work and sometimes when it does work it points me the wrong way. I've never had this issue before, the GPS also does not seem to be live too, meaning that it doesn't update constantly. Instead it jumps every 10-15 seconds. Am I the only one with the issue? :crying: :crying:

I can definitely see this being a software problem with marshmallow. Ever since downloading it on my LG G3 D850 it can barley read sim cards anymore, and since D850 (as far as I know) can't downgrade I'm screwed.

If it can barely read SIM cards that's a hardware issue. Software wouldn't cause that. What do you mean you cannot downgrade? Yes you can.. You just follow my guide and use LGUP and flash kitkat.

Lg G3 d850 Marshmallow boot loop.

So I recently updated to Android 6.0 and it worked perfectly. So about 1 month later (today) I get prompted with a message stating there is an update going to install in30 sec. I let it do its thing setting the phone to comeback right when it's booting up(or so I thought) instead it's the boot loop going on over and over. So I remeber the flash tool so I decided to go with that but it didnt work. Is there any fix for the Android 6.0 boot loop on LG g3 d850?

I let it do its thing setting the phone to comeback right when it's booting up(or so I thought) instead it's the boot loop going on over and over. So I remeber the flash tool so I decided to go with that but it didnt work. Is there any fix for the Android 6.0 boot loop on LG g3 d850?

Is there any known fix cause I kinda need my phone? It just sucks how carriers treat people who don't buy the newest version of a phone.

Your running stock rom right? If your currently running a custom rom you need to first flash a stock based rom based on D850.

There is no kdz for AT&T models and never will be. What do you mean by download failed? Need to explain more. Were you running MM? If so that's why as you must use LGUP...
Also make sure your placing the phone in download mode and using a USB 2.0 port. USB 3.0 will not work

When i start the flash in the 2015 method it says DOWNLOAD FAILED in red at the top. So you said if I'm running MM LGUP should work but my phone appears in the unknown and it is in download mode.

Do you think a command sent to the device while it's in download mode could enable usb debugging.

USB debugging is for software that's not required in download mode and doesn't have anything to do with download mode. What was you running before? As custom roms will make it show up unknown. And not sure on a fix for that
