TECLAST X98 PLUS II (C2D6) DUAL OS NOT BOOTING.
FINALLY I FOUND THAT WINDOWS WAS ERASED IN MY TABLET, AND THE WINDOWS ICON AND PARTITION WAS NOT FIND IN BOOT MODE AS WELL AS TWRP BUT, AT THE TIME OF BOOTING THE TAB MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN SHOWS " AFU: Test IFNI \IFNI.bin FileSize is 0x00400000" IN TWO LINES. THEREAFTER IT DIRECTLY GOES TO ANDROID. NOW THE ANDROID IS DELETING ALL FILES FROM THE EXTERNAL SD CARD AND ONLY EMPTY FOLDER IS SHOWING. I THINK IT IS BIOS COMPLAINT, IS IT TRUE, IF TRUE PLEASE PROVIDE BIOS IF YOU HAVE, IF THERE IS ANY SOLUTION PLEASE PROVIDE TO ME?
THE TAB IS WORKING IN ANDROID MODE AFTER INSTALLING FIRMWARE SUPPLIED BY THE TECLAST, BUT THERE IS NO WINDOWS ICON TO INSTALL NEW WINDOWS. I HAVE ALREADY TRIED FROM BOOT MENU, BUT IT DID,NT RECOGNISED MY PEN DRIVE.
THOSE ALL PROBLEMS STARTS WHEN I TRYING TO ROOT MY TABLET WITH "KINGO ROOT" IT SHOWS MY TABLET WAS ROOTED THEN THOSE PROBLEMS STARTED. PLEASE HELP?

for GoClever i102 not booting device ( the same with AIRIS KIRA N10020)
I had this problem and managed to solve it. Maybe i can help others.
1.get the firmware from http://airis.livedrive.com/IO/DownloadSharedFile?NodeID=0ed5e3b3a95d42e198fdfad4e1d780a3&AID=336352 or http://www.airissupport.com/SupportHome2.aspx?Codigo=N10020 with tutorial (use google translate because it's in spanish)
2.download winimage for windows http://www.winimage.com/download/wima6490.exe install it for evaluation copy and run as administrator
3.insert a microSD card in a card reader and connect it to your PC, start winimage>DISK MENU>RESTORE VIRTUAL HARD DISK IMAGE... and select the card reader and you will have to select the firmware for your device. It will promt you that all the data from the SDcard will be erased and let it finish the job. It can promt you for an error hit OK and continue.
4.Remove the card from the CardReader after image was copied and insert it into your turned off GoClever device. Conect the charger and start the device. It will boot by itself and install everything. It will promt you to remove the card when finished. Restart and let it boot (1st boot might take up to 5 minutes)
5.Format the microSd card.

it came to my hands a goclever android netbook I102 used from one of my cousins thats stuck on a never ending loop with the android/goclever logo when it starts. I tried to do the option this post gives ( and ty in advance for that ) because i couldnt find anything else out there on the internet. But my problem still persists, i tried to use both an sd card and a usb pen and nothing changed. Does anyone know what else can be done to boot the netbook? or reinstall the android system? It doesnt allow the netbook to even start so theres nothing much i can do, im not an expert on the matter but i wanted to at least see if there was a way to salvage the device. If not is going on a one way trip to the trash.
I've also tried to look for the download of the android system for the goclever netbook but couldnt find any.
Any help would be much apreciated Thanks.

an usb key 6Gbytes(minimum)
an OTG micro usb HUB like this one Inateck ultra-mini 4-port USB Hub micro usb OTG hub , at least you need 3 port USB : one for the keyboard , one for a USB key (FAT32) , one for the USB key (NTFS).
After the upgrade your Android will be in chinese , but it's easy to change the language, go to the parameters screen-->click on the square icon with a "A" inside-->click on the first line-->choose your language.
You can find the adb driver and/or root the tablet on my other post root & drivers

Thank you very much. This is a great help for a backup driver. On the other hand I did found another way to backup my drivers. the software name is "double driver". It works well, backing up and restoring pc drivers. I have just a clean install of Windows 10 and restoring the drivers with this software. Thanks again.
Two questions
Hi and thanks. I have two very important questions:
1-does this tablet have bios setup? In other words, can I setup a legacy boot to install windows 10 from USB?
2- when formatting to install new windows, will Android be removed too? If no, is there any way to completely format the disk and install only a new windows?

1. Hello, to enter in bios setup, you need a USB keyboard and a 2 or 3 ports USB hub with micro USB to be connected at the tablet. You turn on the tablet and while the display turns on with its chuwi logo, you must in time press the exit key on the keyboard. With that, it will enter on its bios mode.
2. In my case, my chuwi v10hd version, I only have the windows 8.1 installed and updated it to Windows 10. After that I decided to have a clean install to Windows 10. I made a bootable USB by using Rufus, converting iso image of Windows 10 to uefi bootable usb image. That's my case. In your question, if you're going to update windows to version 10, I think windows will overwrite the boot loader and booting to Android will not be possible. I think the android partition will remain intact if you will not format it. If you want to install only windows 10, it will be much easier. You can delete all partitions that is, windows and android and install Windows 10. Windows will take care the rest of the formatting and installation. This is done by custom install on Windows 10 installation. A suggestion, if you want a clean install, you have to backup your drivers and restore them after clean install. I used double driver for backup and restore. Another is have a copy of your serial number of Windows 10. Hope this can be a help.
desperately in search of a Bios
Hi,
may somebody has a Bios and the right tool for me to flash my Chuwi V10HD 3G.
I locked my self out of the bios configuration with disabling the USB keyboard support in the bios,
may somebody has another way to reset the bios without opening the Tablet.
I tried a lot of things already, but nothing helps.
But the Windows is still working, but indeed no USB support in Windows after I accidentally disabled it in Bios.
Thanks a lot for any help.
Regards
freez3
Has anyone been able to update the android to a newer version? The links are broken.
Thank.

[Completed] Tablet shows no commands, the usb depuration wasn't activated, pc won't recognize it

Well here I have a wonderful problem, I have two devices, according to the working one and cpu z:
4x ARM cortex A9 @1.42 ghz
revision r3p0
Rockchip RK3066
Model rk3188
Manufacturer Zowee
Android version 4.4.2
bootloader unknown
java vm Dalvik 1.6.0
kernel 3.0.36+ (eng.candy.20150403.110733)
The device that has the problem is the exact same model and all, however, after plugging it to the AC current, it tries to boot up but enters into recovery mode, none of the options work at all, looking into youtube I found out that I can extract the firmware, so far so good, but, I can't use that method because RKROMDUMPER and RKAndroid_v1.29 need the tablet to be plugged and there is the problem, the faulty tablet does not load in that mode while plugged to the computer.
So I was left with the option of getting into recovery mode and attempt to update from external storage, so far the only "Firmware" or "ROM" I've got is the one I extracted from the working tablet, I have, backup.img, boot.img, kernel.img and so on, the biggest one is the system.img which is near 6GB size.
I really don't know how to proceed from this point, do I have anything usable with those .img files? I have tried downloading a 4.4 Android rom, the recovery tried to load the files contained in the zip folder yet the loader showed messages such as, bad footer, or invalid image or always a denial message of whatever sort you may imagine.
So, I am stuck, reading further more I discovered that there are other methods or even other roms that can be loaded, but the Zowee guys have near to nothing to work with.
Could you please help me with this? Are the .img parts usable or in some way "joinable" like merge them into a single file or directory?
The device was not rooted, so I am left with only the chance of fresh installing from sd card and nothing else.
Thanks in advance.

Windows is probably the main/primary OS. If getting Android to boot is somewhat linked to the existence of Windows, then you might not be able to remove it. That's probably why no one did that yet.
Edit: I found this http://forum.chuwi.com/thread-1848-1-1.html
Maybe you can give it a try. Remember that you do it at your own risks.
Hi and thanks for your replies, no i dont want to take risks, as i am no expert.
the next question is
Can i show more space on android? the 46Gbs taken by windows? do i only get 9Gb of it on android ??

What you're trying to do is getting more space under Android.
That won't go without repartitioning. It's another task for the expert. Although you should be able to access (read) windows partition in Android if you use an app that can mount NTFS drivers in Android system.
Bigger issue. I just tried to reset from window to the if Android disappears. The tablet is stuck at some boot situation. Anyway to solve this plz?

Hi @METAL66 are you still stuck?
I don't have a guaranteed solution (I have original not "Pro") for you but the following helped me get Android working again when it got stuck at the Intel Inside logo.
This tablet is a x86-64 PC, and boots into a UEFI BIOS first.
1. If you don't have the Chuwi keyboard for this tablet, you can use an OTG (on the go) cable to connect a regular PC keyboard to it. I used a USB hub to allow me to connect a USB drive at the same time:
Code:
[Tablet] -- (OTG) -- [USB hub] -- [keyboard]
[USB storage]--------------------/
With the keyboard attached, you can press Del or Esc (a few times) during bootup to enter the BIOS config.
In there you can change things like whether to show a "quiet" boot or not. I turned it off so I see the AMI BIOS info when it first boots.
2. The official Chuwi Web site has self-contained recovery image installers (WinPE based).
This is the tutorial I used to recover Android while preserving Windows 10.
http -- forum.chuwi.com / thread-1283-1-1.html
Among the available recovery images is one that installs Android and causes Windows to be "lost"
http -- forum.chuwi.com / thread-1210-1-1.html
I'm not sure if the WinPE instance they distribute has full control over the partitions (presumably it at least has software on it to allow access to the Android partitions to repair the boot files write the image), but if so, maybe you can use it to delete the Windows Partitions and reclaim the space for use by Android.
