Hi,
I want to install my ASUS K004 ME371MG permanently in my car. Using Takser or Autosleeper app, I am able to power off the table if charger is disconnected. However I am not able to boot the device when charger is connected (Even with wall socket). It is stuck at battery animation screen.
Tried contacting Asus and no proper response. Based on other forum discussion, I cannot find any related file under /system/bin folder (file: playlpm, lpm, battery_charging, etc) .
Any file modifications or custom rooted ROM suggestions?
Please help me.

Hi there,
I have a problem with my asus garmin a10 phone. I was updating my firmware then it closed and didnt open. Few minutes later I unplugged it from my computer and now I can't open it. It is freezing when android logo screen comes. I tried to do hard reset but it showed wipe userdata but did not do anything. I was also enter usb polling mode, it added new device to my computer's devices tab, which is called boot loader interface but i cant do anything. How can i fix my phone? It seems software problem what i must to do? Can i fix it myself or must i sent it to asus support service.
well i bricked it a few days after i got it..
i was installing jb update and it reset to asus screen. and it stayed on that screen. i rebooted it and when it came on it imediatly said it was wiping data from device. after that finished it reset to asus screen..
So i tried to get into fast boot usb but if the device is connected to the computer it locks the device and it never starts fastboot.
so i unplugged from pc and tried going to fastboot usb and it says it loaded, but my computer wont recognize the device when i plug it in..
im sick right now..
anyway to get this thing back operational? it was rooted and had clockwork on it but i can't get to cw with power and volume pressed.
what can i do?
had the same here. you have to update the drivers manually.
Go to the Device Manager. There should be a device called Transformer. Right Click and update the drivers manually.
Well I've had no luck. My computer won't recognize the tablet as a device at all. It seems that the tablet errors if connected and it locks up.
Anyone have any luck with Asus repair? Think they would fix it for me?
install asus pc pad for the drivers. there's a dl link in the asus support site. after that fastboot should be recognized. all you have to so then would be to flash a recovery specifically for jelly bean.
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T
Computer would not recognize the pad as a device, so after it died i put it in the box and prepared to ship it for fix to asus.. then i read a forum about power loss resetting bootloader. and i plugged it up after a quick charge. usb is recognized and i was able to get twrp on it again.
im installing 9.4.3 because i dont want to brick this thing again. wish me luck..
help reinstalling Operating system to tf300t
i have an unlocked asus tf300t i had bricked.
since i have managed to get twrp functioning on the system. now i'm having trouble flashing my os.
the bootloader says it's 10.4 at startup.
does this mean i have to flash jelly bean update through twrp? will it brick if i do that?
any assistance would be greatly appreciated. i'm 5 days into this. owned my tablet 7. so im sad..
Happened to me too. I'm hoping that ASUS will fix it for a reasonable price. Otherwise I'm just going to get a Nexus 7.
if you just bought it a few days ago maybe you can exchange it,
in any case as said before, try installing drivers, changing USB ports, trying on another PC
what bootloader do you have?
After the battery on the unit died I got fastboot working. I fast booted the appropriate ROM for my boot loader and all has been great.
Solved by letting battery die completely

hey guys
i recently tried to flash my asus fonepd 7 but i think i used the wrong firmware vers. i downloaded the firmware from the asus site and renamed the .zip file to 'k012_sdupdate'.zip. i then powered the tablet on and into the droidboot mode, i selected sd update and it went on to flsh the tablet. problem is, now when i try to power on the device it wont switch on but just flash and then switch off. wen i switch it on wth a usb connected it just shows this usb sign with an empty bar at the bottom that goes red after a while. i dont know what to do now please help
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. See if this helps, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2800023 You most likely have to flash the stock firmware to get your device working again.
Hi!
I've begun trying to rebuild my ASUS Transformer tab, and I've done this so far:
Used KingRoot to install root
Used the Asus Unlock Tool app
Now, you're wondering what the problem is. Well...My tab didn't come with the USB cable, rather, a pure AC adapter cable for the asus tab, so I have no way of connecting this to my PC.
I've tried downloading apps like Flashify, TWRP Manager, and Official TWRP App, and they don't work. Whenever I tap on "Device" in any app, the app itself stops working. I have TWRP on a micro sd card, and neither app opens it.
I'm trying to figure out if there's something I'm missing, or if I'm somehow doing all this work for nothing, and there's no way to flash the TF300T without a PC.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry, but I have never heard that an Asus tablet came without USB cable!
I suggest you are on stock rom 4.2 Jelly Bean. First of all go to settings ->Build-Number touch it seven times in order to open the Dev Options. Then go back to Developer Options ->check USB-Debugging.
After that install the Asus PC Suite on your PC (see attached), because of the included USB driver. Then install the Asus USB driver on your PC. That should it be!

Do yourself a favor, buy an original Asus USB cable and get fastboot adb working between the tablet and your PC.
Really.
That is the best way to flash a recovery and your safety net. If something goes wrong and you do not have adb and fastboot you're pretty much out of luck.
That said, Flashify should flash the recovery just fine and I don't understand your description. Haven't used Flashify in a long time, but you choose "Flash Recovery", select the file and flash it. Where does that not work for you? Screenshots please.
Do NOT let Flashify or TWRP Manager download the recovery for you and make sure they flash the file to the correct partition. Download TWRP from Teamwin's website yourself. That is the only acceptable way to use these apps.
The correct partition to flash the recovery image to would be mmcblk0p4
Hi,
I have a rooted OnePlus 6 android device. I need to make it so it will automatically power on when plugged in to a usb charger. As far as I know all I need to do is to replace the battery charging animation file with a reboot script command. My problem is that I don't know the name of the file that is responsible for battery animation. Each OEM has its own version and naming of that file, so googling didn't help in this case. I need the one that is specific for oneplus 6 device. Please help! Thank you!
OxygenOS battery animation file maybe?
Anyone can help? Maybe it's not OnePlus 6 specific, if somebody tried to customize the battery animation for OnePlus device while the phone is off, I would love to hear about your experience. Is it part of the Kernel or is it a dedicated file that I can just update to get my own animation (or script) running instead.
