It is freezing when android logo screen comes. I tried to do hard reset but it showed wipe userdata but did not do anything. I was also enter usb polling mode, it added new device to my computer's devices tab, which is called boot loader interface but i cant do anything. How can i fix my phone? It seems software problem what i must to do? Can i fix it myself or must i sent it to asus support service.

Okay.. Help!
I just recently bought a LG GW620 from a friend.
Usually it runs on Android 1.5
I wanted it to run on Android 2.2
So, i searched the internet and found out that LG gives us this by default, all you have to do is download their update manager and let that run.
So i did.. Until it started telling me that i needed to reconnect the phone.
I did that.. about 5 maybe 6 times. After that, the update program stopped.
I now have, a big fat "!
EMERGENCY MODE" on my screen.
So, i searched, and came across a way that told me to disable the modem.
I did, but still the update program shizzle from LG doesn't seem able to find the phone.
I'm really inches away from going crazy, haven't had any food since 8 o'clock this morning(okay.. just noticed now that that is 12 hours ago.. should get some food)
But.. please.. help me!
Don't make me go back to my Xperia X1 with friggin' Windows Mobile 6.1!
Edit:
I tried this:

OK, got it.
In the settings menu, you can run a factory reset, and after a reboot, it's back to virgin state.
so, to recap:
1) You can recover from bricked state (IE, won't boot) by holding 1+Power on start to get in to Emergency Mode
- You will need LG-Utils
- You will need V10C_00.kdz
- You will need B2CAppSetup.exe (set language to English for ease of use)
- You will need USB modem drivers (I used USB SP modem drivers from LG Modem Driver 4.9.4
-- From LG-Utils directory, run KP500-Utils-EN.exe
-- Phone Model: GW620
-- File: \path\to\V10C_00.kdz
-- Version: V10C_00
-- Takes about 5 minutes and will reboot your unit to charging mode.
2) At this point, you must turn on your device. You won't have much luck doing anything because the GUI is gone, but ADB will continue to work.
- You will need Android SDK
- You will need to have previously set up USB Debugging
- You will need to have previously enabled root for adb
-- Launch adb shell
-- execute: am start -a android.intent.action.MAIN
-- this will prompt you with a GUI to select the app to launch. go in to the settings to issue a factory reset.
3) Voila. On reboot, you are on initial setup screen. You have lost all of your data, but have recovered your device.

Bump.. anyone?
Hi all,
i tried several stuff on my asus nuvifone a10 without breaking anything (at least not visibile).
to remove all my stuff from it, i flash it with stock rom 1.6 and then stock rom 2.1
now i am facing the god damn issue that only display logo.
so far i tried the following:
- trying to go into recovery: no luck, i tried several key combinaison but can't get there
- i can go onto the usb polling blue screen
-> if i plug my phone in then i can see the android garmin asus bootloader on my pc device (win7 64 bits)
but i can't reach it with the adb as he doesn't list it
- it tried fastboot but no luck also.
i suppose asus has some tool that allow to "push" update to the phone through the polling but i don't know how as i can't even put the usb on dev and don't have recovery.
any help is warmly welcome

I have the same problem with my garmin-asus a10,,,,have u done anything with it?
If anybody solved the problem,,,plz tell us how?
well i bricked it a few days after i got it..
i was installing jb update and it reset to asus screen. and it stayed on that screen. i rebooted it and when it came on it imediatly said it was wiping data from device. after that finished it reset to asus screen..
So i tried to get into fast boot usb but if the device is connected to the computer it locks the device and it never starts fastboot.
so i unplugged from pc and tried going to fastboot usb and it says it loaded, but my computer wont recognize the device when i plug it in..
im sick right now..
anyway to get this thing back operational? it was rooted and had clockwork on it but i can't get to cw with power and volume pressed.
what can i do?
had the same here. you have to update the drivers manually.
Go to the Device Manager. There should be a device called Transformer. Right Click and update the drivers manually.
Well I've had no luck. My computer won't recognize the tablet as a device at all. It seems that the tablet errors if connected and it locks up.
Anyone have any luck with Asus repair? Think they would fix it for me?
install asus pc pad for the drivers. there's a dl link in the asus support site. after that fastboot should be recognized. all you have to so then would be to flash a recovery specifically for jelly bean.

Computer would not recognize the pad as a device, so after it died i put it in the box and prepared to ship it for fix to asus.. then i read a forum about power loss resetting bootloader. and i plugged it up after a quick charge. usb is recognized and i was able to get twrp on it again.
im installing 9.4.3 because i dont want to brick this thing again. wish me luck..
help reinstalling Operating system to tf300t
i have an unlocked asus tf300t i had bricked.
since i have managed to get twrp functioning on the system. now i'm having trouble flashing my os.
the bootloader says it's 10.4 at startup.
does this mean i have to flash jelly bean update through twrp? will it brick if i do that?
any assistance would be greatly appreciated. i'm 5 days into this. owned my tablet 7. so im sad..
Happened to me too. I'm hoping that ASUS will fix it for a reasonable price. Otherwise I'm just going to get a Nexus 7.
if you just bought it a few days ago maybe you can exchange it,
in any case as said before, try installing drivers, changing USB ports, trying on another PC
what bootloader do you have?
After the battery on the unit died I got fastboot working. I fast booted the appropriate ROM for my boot loader and all has been great.
Solved by letting battery die completely

Hi, I'm kinda of a noob at this stuff, but I've learned quite a bit recently from just reading around, so bear with me if I don't understand or need more specific instructions. I have the trio stealth pro 7 and it is always stuck on the boot screen with the android logo when I boot. I was attempting to flash cm9 on the tablet but after I wiped the tablet initially, i couldnt find the cm9 rom on my internal memory while in recovery mode, so I ended up turning off my tablet, which now doesn't boot up anymore (stuck with android logo).
I found a fix where you can use livesuite and adb to fix this issue; however, after installing adb, my tablet is not being detected, (my phone does). My tablet is not being recognized by windows in general, and it doesn't show up under device manager. There was one part of the step where I need to install usb drivers for the tablet; however, I cant find any online. I have used the tablet before with my computer before the attempt to flash cm9, so I am guessing drivers should already be installed. I feel I can get this issue fixed if I can just get adb to recognize my tablet.
Perhaps this fix is not the one I need and maybe there's a simpler fix. I'm just too dumb to have realized it. Another note to add is, pressing the combination of power and volume buttons does nothing. Please help!!! thank you!!
Hi,
After a complete factory reset my kids tf300t starts automatically installing applications like 'adult browser', 'hot videos', ... even before I was able to select my language and connect to my wifi during the installation wizard. The device is also extremely slow and many windows are popping up all the time.
It is still the original stock ROM, the boot loader was not unlocked.
Now I'm trying to overwrite the (infected?) stock rom. I'm able to put the device in fast boot mode (I see a status line that fast boot is enabled after pressing vol-up + per) but when I connect it to my PC 'fastboot devices' doesn't list the device. I tried with another device to check my fast boot installation and that works fine.
After a long time I was able to enable debugging mode (i saw a popup 'usb debugging mode enabled') adb was neither able to connect.
I even tried another cable.
Anyone any suggestion how to recover my device?
