Hi.
I have a PIPO P9 4G.
I've installed CM13 with TWRP 3.0.0 and rooted it (reference http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/rockchip-rk3288/request-new-pipo-p9-4g/).
Only thing is not working is the SIM (no 3G, no 4G, nothing... SIM is not detected).
In the Settings --> Info page, Baseband reports as unknown.
In the link above you can find dmesg and logcat. If you need any other info, just let me know.
Does anyone know how to make it work?

You screwed up the tablets EFS partition, which stores the IMEI and is needed to accept simcards
I tried to find some free tool, that allows you to manually restore the IMEI, but haven't found anything so far.

It seems that Oma found a solution for that.
SIM is detected now. PIN is requested. Baseband and IMEI are back.
Now there is not connectivity. Only 3G and 2G are shown (no 4G). No interface is shown by ifconfig.

i ahve samasung galaxy tab 2 10 wifi work fine excpet if i tried to insert the 3g sim in it the wifi not working and not shown any networks and not going back except i do do a hard reset wihtout sim card.
i installed the last rom from sammobile but nothing changed.
so any suggest to reslove this problem?

Check if your portable Wi-Fi hotspot is on. If it is, turn it off. That you'll possible to check under the Wireless and Network.

On my P5100 it works perfectly. Did you insert the SIM card when the device was turned off?

No. I put the card when the device was switched off after switching everything worked normally.

On the SIM number 1 is no problem. Number on the SIM 2 3G does not work.
I bought L03 from CHINA, is there a way to install L02 or other international ROM.
Also it doesn't work with my cellular provider.
The provider works with: HSDPA 850 2100 UMTS.
What can I do?

Thanks to "VirusPlus fastboot" tutorial!!! Link below.
Now I have european ROM ...
But the reception problem still persists, I have to switch provider.

No, the problem is not solved, can't use the phone.
The hardware doesn't fit to the 4G in Israel.

I cannot remember.
But it doesn't change a thing, as I said it's a hardware problem not software.
Only 2G works, changing to L04 will not solve the reception.

Does anyone have the stock recovery image for the Huawei GR5 2017 (BLL-L22 on the EMUI 5.0 update?I need it in order to restore my phone to EMUI 5.0, as not having HWC on the custom ROMs makes the UI laggy, and I'd rather use that till the OpenKirin project fixes that issue.
Not really answering your question. I have a question myself. Is your phone rooted? Coz i would really love to know how to root bll-l22.
Download the firmware (that is compatible with your device) and then extract it.

I can help you to do it, but if I do, can you please send me a TWRP backup of stock EMUI 5.0? Please I'm desperate.
Here's how to root it anyways:
Pre requisite:
Minimal ADB and Fastboot installed, find it here: https://redirect.viglink.com/?forma...t and Hacking&txt=Download Version 1.4.2 Here .
1. Unlock the bootloader using this site: https://hwid5.vmall.com/CAS/mobile/...ndex&loginChannel=22000000&reqClientType=2023 . You'll need to create a free account with Huawei.
2. Reboot into fastboot after verifying successful bootloader unlock.
3. Download TWRP from here: https://github.com/OpenKirin/androi...ases/download/3.1.1-0/twrp-3.1.1-0-berlin.img and then rename the image to TWRP. Put it in the minimal ADB and Fastboot folder.
4. Install it by opening a command prompt in the folder (you can do this by shift right clicking and selecting "open windows PowerShell window here" and then typing cmd in the PowerShell prompt) and then typing " fastboot flash recovery twrp.img ".
5. Unplug the phone from the PC, and then boot into TWRP by holding power and volume up.
6. Flash a root solution such as magisk from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445 .
7. Reboot and you should be rooted on EMUI 5.0 with your Huawei GR5 2017 BLL-L22.

I flashed update.zip and data (1st n 2nd in ff). But only BLL-L22 .......370 is supported.

But still my 4g isn't working. I did debranding from BLN-24 to BLN-L22 and BLN-L22 to BLL-L22.... But still I am facing same problem.

Still 4g isn't working. Is honor 6x actually 4g phone ?

It is a 4G phone. But it was not working on USA version also right?
Put sim in sim slot 1 only.
I have mine in sim 2 slot but working fine even after debranding.

Are you sure you are using 4G. please check your speed and let me know.
Because when my phone was in USA version (L24 ) firmware. All time it showed 4G sign on signal but when i checked my speed it was around 2-3 Mbps. It only shows 4G sign on signal but it actually run in 3G. When i activated 4G on my sim. My cellular provider gave me 2GB date as a bonus for 4G network only. But that bonus i could not use it because i was never in 4G. I called my cellular provider they told me your phone is using only 3G network.
After debranding it doesnot show 4G sign in signal. That's the only difference.

Results are attached. This is the speed we have here on 4G network (various operators have same speed) and i dont see issue. BTW I am sitting in not best network area but cafeteria where network fluctuates much.

Are you sure you are in 4g network. Because this is my current 3g network Speed.

That's very sad. My new Airtel 4g Hotspot is bricked now, stuck at Diagnostic 3G UI. Is there anyway to find a usbloader or how are these things made or where do people get these from?
