Good evening, I have a Xperia M2 to which I have changed the screen and I had to change the antenna cable. Now it catches me 4G, I can send and recive SMS, but when I try to call or that they call me it goes without coverage. I have only been able to call twice and not with very good quality.
This problem may be due to the cable section??
thanks!!

Hi there, I've been having problems with my brand new Desire S.
Whenever I place or receive a call over the cellular network I can hear the other party fine, but they can only hear me for the first 5 seconds of the call. It doesn't happen all the time, but I'd say 9 out of 10 calls are affected.
I've also configured internet calling and the calls over VoIP are not affected by this.
Any ideas on what might be causing this behavior?
Turns out it was an out-of-the-factory problem. Mainboard had to be replaced by HTC service center. I'm still waiting for the phone to be shipped back to me.
It's disappointing to buy a new phone, be able to use it for a week and then have it 3 weeks in the service.
HTC should improve their manufacturing quality assurance if they want to be considered a real phonemaker.
Hello! I had a problem this weekend with my sensation. I am from Europe, Romania, on Vodafone. I went to a cabin near the mountains with my girlfriend and she has a SGS. My htc sensation is full stock with the latest firmware 1.45.410.2. The network was set on WCDMA/GSM, and I usually tick Mobile Network when I check my e-mails, keeping it off the rest of the time.
The problems started when I received my first call. I could speak with the person for 10 seconds, after which the sound was cut off on both sides, but the phone kept counting the seconds as if nothing had happened. Awkwardly, when I placed the call there were no problems. So only if I received the calls.
The signal was kind of oscillating, there were times when it was full, and then it fell to 2 bars. Meanwhile my girlfriend with her Galaxy S that had the exact same settings (WCDMA/GSM and Mobile network on only when she needs it) and had absolutely no problems.
After I gave it a thought I turned the radio to GSM only, and had no problems at all. The inbound calls went through very smooth and there were no more problems.
Has anybody else experienced this? Is there a fix?
Thanks!
I had this also two or three times, but it seems the Sensation has weak signal generally... also WLAN is not as good as my previous phones...
maybe any update can provide a solution for the incoming call issue

Take care of the death grip.
Search to know more about it. But to sum up, it's a problem that makes you signal drop because of your hand covering the location where the antenna is.

Hi,
Does anyone else suffer from the following problem:
My WiFi connection always briefly disconnects if I am holding the phone. This only appears to mainly occur (or becomes more noticeable) whilst doing something such as a video call.
Example: I start a video call with the phone on a surface. After a while I go to hold the phone in my hand, give or take a few seconds, the call will then be disconnected due to Network Connectivity Issues.
My WiFi signal bar will have no bars and the letter "E" along with a red "stop" type sign comes up in red for a few seconds, and then I get full WiFi signal again. The call then reconnects, and the process will keep repeating itself unless I stop holding my phone!
As I say, if I don't hold my phone, voice or video calls over WiFi work perfectly fine. EDIT: Actually, still occasionally occurs if on a surface too.
I also have similar issues with normal phone signal. Just holding the phone I can go from full signal down to "emergency calls only". But this isn't too much of a issue as it is with WiFi.
I'm hoping this is just a fault, but it would seem strange if so because everything works great IF I don't hold my phone - not too good really!
Any suggestions or help would be great.
Thanks!
I have the same issue. I can be standing in the same room as my router, and if I put my phone in my pocket and pull it out it will have disconnected from my network. Same issue with the cell network. I have T-Mobile and where I live, I can barely get 1 bar of 3G. I'm on edge most of the time. But the signal will drop off to where the phone will state I can only make emergency calls.

Well it's good (and not good) that someone else is suffering from the same issues as me I guess.
Would appear the best option for me is to return for a full refund. I will get onto Motorola though to see what they say about it. It's a brilliant phone besides this, but obviously it's a massive problem for me to live with.
I'm not sure whether to chance trying to get a replacement and seeing how that behaves. Anyone else having similar problems?
Well, i just saw this a few minutes ago, the wi-fi just drops from full to low, the wireless card is cheap i guess, my razr i didn' sufer with this, this happens when i hold in landscape mode only, this is sad.
I bought this phone 2 months ago and facing a big problem of call issue. When a call is made (both incoming and outgoing), the call goes blank within few seconds....and it comes back after few seconds or the call gets dropped. It happens with all the calls. Really frustrated with this situation, as I have to use my phone for work to call my clients. Can someone have any solution for this issue? Please help.
It's a long shot but check in network settings in case you have enabled GSM only by accident I did that once and the same thing happened with calls.
Preferred network type should be set to LTE/gsm/auto and not GSM only.
Claim warranty...

If I were you, the moment constant call drops within 7 days ownership, should have return the unit for replacement or refund.
Now, your only choice is to claim for warranty which is PITA because the repair period is around 1 to 2 months ...

Thank you.
The sim card works fine with other phones perfectly. May be I have to give this phone to the service center for repair.
Hi all, I recently sent my S7 (bought from ebay) to have the LCD replaced. It was working fine before I dropped it but the repair told me they were having issues with the mic that wasn't working so when they checked the IMEI, it came back as blacklisted. They couldn't get any signal and the way they explained it to me was that it was useless as a call making/receiving phone and could only use it on wifi.
I received the phone yesterday and I put my SIM card; not only did I have reception, I had a working 4G signal, could access the internet and was able to receive calls from my colleagues. Only problem was they couldn't hear me and I could only hear them on speakerphone, not through the external speaker at the top.
At home, I tried the Skype bot that lets you set up the mic and all and that was working, again only when I had it on speakerphone. Same on Google, when I say Ok Google the assistant comes up and I can 'voice search' just fine. I can also make calls fine.
So I'm confused. I thought blacklisted means you get no signal, you can't make any calls etc but can a blacklist status disable the speaker/mic when on calls? The repair was about replacing the cracked LCD, could the new screen affect/disable the mic since the phone is not a European model (I got it from a now banned from ebay seller from Hong Kong)? And finally, should I be trying to un-blacklist the phone or fix the mic and the speaker?
UPDATE: I just checked the model number and it's the SM-G930T. The LCD I just replaced is G930F. Could that have anything to do with the speaker not working?
Any ideas/recommendations are more than welcome. Many thanks in advance.
