No. As for now only the latest Samsung flagships has it.

The One Plus 3 and Axon 7 have UFS 2.0 I'm pretty sure. The Honor 8 has some of the fastest App start up times and 4K random read & write speeds though which tend to be more important to the actual user experience (presumably due to larger/more aggressive file caching in RAM and firmware optimizations respectively). http://www.anandtech.com/show/10678/the-huawei-honor-8-review/7

MI5 also do have UFS support.
But Huawei P9 too lacks in UFS
I'm not sure about the P9, but in practice without a USB 3.0 data connection (the Honor 8 has USB 2 transfer speeds from its USB3 Type C connector), the only thing you would probably notice a difference on the H8 versus devices with UFS 2.0 would be copying (not moving) a file from internal storage to internal storage (i.e. making a duplicate). Even with 90-95MB/s rated SD cards sequential transfers shouldn't bottlenecked. The 64GB Samsung Pro+ card I'm using only hits 75MB/reads and 90MB/s writes (why are writes higher?) according to the few tests I've run.
That said, I'd still wish the Honor 8 had UFS anyway just because.

Well, the reason may due to your handset, I used to had a motor atrix with class 4 and I can get 5 mb/s via usb . But for my optimus 3d only maximum to 4mb/s even with class 10. It got to be your hardware or firmware restricting it.

actually using the phone to do the format would be better as it automatically chooses the best cluster size for use with android system. well it all depends on the contains you going to throw in too, to determine the best cluster size.

Never bought a Nexus before because of the lack of a micro SD card port. I was hoping some of the most recent rumors were true about the Nexus 9 having on but no joy. I will be buyingone though because I have got to tryTegra K1 64 bit and lollipop. Anyone ever try to expand storage on the Nexus 7 2 gen? What did you use? What about a WiFi external hard drive? I am open to any and all solutions.
I use a Corsair Flash Voyager Go usb stick with 64GB storage. It burst writes pretty good, so files under 60MB get written on it pretty much in an instant.
Larger files make the drive heat up pretty fast, and after about 30 minutes the write speed is down to 25MB/s.
If you use Win, the next part won't interest you: I formatted the drive into ext4, so I can store files >4GB on it. It performs better than NTFS or exFAT (exFAT is a pain in the foot!) but a little worse than FAT32 for whatever reason.
There are other comparable products out there, like the one from TeamGroup (M132, IIRC). The differences are marginal - I bought the cheapest.
That's what I am going to use otg with my 64gb Samsung class 10 micro SD card
@MRobbo80, which otg are you going to use with your card? I have a 64gb Sandisk 10 uhs-1.
Would something like this work, http://www.amazon.com/Leef-microSD-microUSB-Connector-Android/dp/B00J2D7R20/ref=pd_cp_pc_3
Do I need to be concerned about weather the card reader/write is either a USB 2.0 or 3.0?

No, don't be concerned. It does not matter. USB2 can, with some controllers, reach over 25MB/s, which is more than you'll have with your micro sd card.
But I would not spend more than 2 bucks on it. Aliexpress has some better offers.
They don't live for long. I used this setup for quite a while, but after 4 months tops they died.
I would go for the Corsair Flash Voyager Go. Better r/w speeds, better support, etc.
Cheers!

I just tested my Sandisk Ultra 16gb with the RAW option of camera, well while it takes only 3 seconds to save using internal memory, with the MicroSD Sandisk Ultra it takes 6 to 9 seconds!!!
The writing speed is about 10-15mb/s with the Ultra.
I was going to buy a 64gb card Ultra but when I saw how slow it works with the RAW (and perhaps 4K recording) I think it will be better to buy a 32GB Samsung Pro that would give 75 to 80mb/s .
What do you think?
Anyone using a Sandisk Extreme or Samsung Pro MicroSD on their M9?

I have Samsung pro 64GB, Raw 1sec, 4K no problem at all, real speed in write going till 74, read 82
I have the SanDisk Extreme Pro 64GB just give me Read @ 90.56MB/s @ Write @ 81.18MB/s from the phone and speeds were similar using USB 3.0 to test the card on my PC before using it in the phone. I used A1 SD Bench from the play store to test it from the phone.
I haven't paid attention to the RAW files yet.
Wow nice!
Looks like it's faster than the internal memory.
I will get a 32gb Pro then
Well the speed I got for the internal memory was 215MB/s for read and 111MB/s for write.

The maximum capacity of micro SD is "200" GB.
Although on eBay there're some 256GB of them, all of them are FAKE.
I use 200GB microSD on my NXT-AL10. Nothing to say correctly working.

So the P10 apparently uses different components for memory which results in different speeds during use. Lots of people complaining.
The Mate 9 is advertised as using the faster UFS 2.1 memory. Is this the case of are we being made a fool of too?
Install A1 SD Bench and tap internal SD card for a quick bench.
Post your result to check consistency. One of the attached photos shows a high read result 358mb. That was taken from this video:
My result is significantly lower 179mb (see other photo).

eMMC / ufs lottery seems to be an extremely stupid move by Huawei.. Especially since they are trying to better establish their brand name
But nothing new though, there is:
Sharp/Samsung/JDI Panel lottery on even the most expensive and high performing Samsung TVs
Hynix/ Samsung/ micron memory lottery on Nvidia gpus
Explosive battery lottery on note 7
Sudden death lottery on note 2
Bootloop lottery on LG g4
Just goes to show that being an early adopter really makes no sense in most cases
Still happy with my mate
But appalled that Huawei would risk their name just to keep up supply
Mine is 314,6 read, write 124.2
I don't know how to add picutre here
I am so appalled by this. I hate when companies are making falls promises.
I see most of us get speeds around 350mbps. In the P10 articles, they are using the AndroBench app an there the threshold for UFS 2.1 is around 700mbps.
Reading speeds of my Mate 9 in AndroBench are around 550 mbps. Go figure...

interesting, way higher than most here on reading but half as slow in writing lol
331 and 118 for me

This is really sad news. I love my Mate 9 but I feel really cheated. I will be honest the specs including the inclusion of UFS 2.1 memory was a huge selling point. It's also why I haven't put a micro SD card in my phone and am using the internal storage only as I thought it would be the fastest. Don't know what to think especially with my poor results in the OP.
@tboy2000 i totally agree!
Sent from my MHA-L29 using Tapatalk
Despite being under 700 in read (more like ufs2.0 590), this is the fastest phone i've ever used.
Feeling like you have to question the legitimacy of what you paid for though is no fun..
Wait and don't sell Mate 9 !
Are you really trust to Androbench where sample file is too small to show accurate results?
What is purpose of using it? Does it show real type of hardware? No! It just reads sample and measures speed, but it does mean nothing.
Is anybody know right method to test f2fs with his caching and optimizations? I think "simple read" is not right there.
