Z5 Dual Sony warranty - Xperia Z5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
does somebody know how Sony handles his warranty condition with the Z5 dual?
I have now an E6683 which is originally from Hongkong. It is sold by a german dealer which is responsible for faults.
But I like to have a backup via the producers warranty. For this product I think I will get no free support within Europe.
Now there is another model on the market E6633 which is sold on the european market by default (I saw Poland, France, Portugal in Xperifirm). So if I buy this kind of model it should be no problem to get it repaired "legally" within Europe.
Now the question: is this assumption correct? Somebody has some experience with this kind of question?

Before I purchase Z5 Dual on ebay from Taiwan seller, I contact local Sony repair depot in Calgary,Alberta Canada and was told they honor the warrenty. Purchase it the next day ship from singapore. Try to find out where the local repair depot in your country.

Any known retailer will offer the Z5 DUAL Online ?

I'm sure, after using as provisional phone an asus zenphone 2, with dual-sim dual-active a dual-sim phone is now on my check list.
I never read about Sony plans to export to usa the Dual-Sim version (I consider they fail not selling it on amazon) for Unlocked Market.
So anyone known here where to purchase it online?
I live in the UK, and bought the dual sim verison of the Z3 from http://www.mobicity.co.uk/ They might sell the Z5, too - check with them.
The company is registered in England and I paid with paypal - I felt this gave me an added layer of protection. They claim phones have manufacturer's warranty but I am not sure Sony would honour it as I am not sure this model is meant to be sold in the US or the UK. In other words, I took a calculated risk knowing that, in case of problems, it would have been complicated to claim the warranty - which I am never too worried about as I tend to root my phones anyway, which voids the warranty.
Be very very sure to check network frequencies and compatibility. When I bought my Z3 dual, it wasn't compatible with my EE British sim (EE is a network). I had to upgrade the software. Searching on forums it turned out that other networks have the same problem, too. Anyway, I have had my Z3 for almost 10 months and I'm very happy with it
Thank you, I've checked the frequencies for the dual sim version and has no issues or restrictions with T-Mobile or AT&T. (LTE 2,4,12,17 is on both dual sim versions).
At the moment there is only one retailer selling it thru Amazon, but a bit expensive (900$) I hope soon more retailers sell it.

I got mine from this eBay retailer: www.ebay.com/usr/qd_us He has the dual-SIM variant too, and prices are pretty good
Mine was shipped from Taiwan to Canada in 3 days.

Sometimes just checking the frequencies is not enough.
Look at this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/help/z3-dual-d6633-sim-compatibility-issues-t2932027
The D6633 (Z3 dual sim) had a firmware that was incompatible with some carriers, and only once a new firmware came out did the phone become compatible with those carriers (EE in the UK and some others).
Why? I have no clue...
Of course I wish you won't have any issues, but bear in mind that, should you do, you may have very little recourse if you bought from a foreign vendor that, well, never guaranteed compatibility with your specific network.
Expansys offering Dual $669, however you only get 6 month warranty.

Sony International warranty?

I bought my xz (f8332) on ebay and it not happy. Full reset a d pic companion repair isn't doing it. So I'm looking into Sony in United Arab emirates where the phone is from (per Sony us) if they can help me get it fixed.
The phone looks pristine so no physical damage.
Had anyone had this and how did it go?

Send them in English they will understand, if you need help in Arabic language I can help you.
I gave up and sold the phone. Sony UAE were useless and sent me to a local company there that said the phone is under warranty but not covered by them. Then I got hold of Sony again and they sent me back to that third party again.
Lessons learned, never buy international version again

Xperia Z5 E6653 region location

Hello.
I am trying to find, for which region is the E6653 supposedly for. From what i have seen, it SHOULD be for Worldwide/EU.
But then, it turns out, that the specific unit i have is 501SO, which is for the Japanese market. As such, the official Sony service in Bulgaria, refuses to repair it, even with paid service.
Flash a Nordic or EU firmware.
Change buildprop with text editor if needed.

I am first trying to find if this is even proper one, since its still in Seller Warranty. If its not EU one, i will return it, since flashing would void the warranty.
So, i would need to know for which markets the E6653 is targeted at - EU, Worldwide, Americans or Asian markets?
Bump.
According to the Sony Whitepaper, 6603 and 6653 have both the same band support.
I saw some info, on how 6603 is supposedly for the NA market/region.
If that is so, does that makes the 6653 EU/Global?
