how to contact Verizon XOOMS! for services ..I am from Hong Kong - Xoom Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi there
My Verizon XOOMS! Is out of order and unable to power up or charging.
I am living in Hong Kong and local Motorola is refused to service and claimed it is CDMA version. In fact it is only wifi version and this is only their excuse not wanted to serve me here.
Is there anyone can tell me how to ship my zoom back to US for repair?

Hong Kong HTC Devices - Buyer Beware

We all know that the Sensation has suffered from its fair share of bugs and glitches (every new device does) but what I didn't know prior to buying this phone is that models sold in HK (Unbranded or Branded) are not supported in the same manner as the rest of the world. I hope this post can prevent someone else form making the same mistake as me.
After reading forums and talking to people, it became clear that devices in HK were either missing software updates entirely, or getting them months later than the rest of Asia (or the world for that matter).
I contacted HTC about this and spoke with Mike at the HK Customer Service center. He confirmed that HTC Hong Kong has a different policy regarding updates and has no plans to EVER release small incremental updates. He even referred to previous handsets (HTC Desire HD models in HK didn't receive the updates that the rest of the world did) saying that the only time exceptions have been made to this policy is when a major OS update 2.1->2.2 has been issued. Apparently unlike other regions, it is standard policy not to release small updates in Hong Kong. He also doubted that the bootloader update (expected in August) would be available for Hong Kong branded phones stating the models sold in HK are treated separately from other global models. Although I tried to get him to give me an explanation for this bizarre policy, the only answer I could get is that most HK customers are happy with the current release.
As it stands now, HK Sensations are stuck on software version number 1.28.708.2 and HTC HK is categorically stating that they will remain here indefinitely.
Lesson learned for me is to never buy an HTC device in HK ever again.
Does anyone know if there is a way to flash a standard Asia rom (region 707) to a HK phone (region 708)?
i have 1.28.720.2...i thought mine was sourced from HK...have any idea what the 720 region is?
I bought mine in HK, it came with the Asian rom on it
I would expect come the unlock you can then put what ever you like on it but not until then.
and no idea where 720 is, hopefully someone else can tell you.
I spoke with HTC UK about my Sensation (bought on EBay) and it seems that 720 is India!

[Q] Is there any difference between the Chinese one of OPO and the international one?

I want to buy the OPO but my throwback is the country I live in, Bangladesh. As you know, 16 countries are officially available to the supply of OPO and Bangladesh is not listed on it. Surprisingly one of the dealers in Bangladesh is selling OPO at a rate of $488.75 (US Dollar) for the Chinese Version.
So my query is that is there any difference between the Chinese version and the international version or are they both identical. And why is the Chinese version so widely available where as the International version is as bad as extinct?
Anyone Help? Thanks in advance xD

Thanks. Could you tell me if I'm going to be able to use LTE and 3g in USA or in countries in Europe? I'm a student and I'm going to change countries for better education in a year. So I need to know if LTE and 3G will work properly on major carriers in USA or in countries in Europe. Thanks for your help earlier though, really appreciate the time you taken to do the researches for my help. Thanks.

HK is only selling S6 SM-G9200 32GB(Dual sim) and S6 Edge 32/64GB SM-9250.

Are you go to HK personally or say physically? If not, you can buy it off this site online and ship to your country. If you don't need dual sim, I will suggest you buy elsewhere because G9200/G9250 got very few custom roms.

Z5 Dual Sony warranty

Hi,
does somebody know how Sony handles his warranty condition with the Z5 dual?
I have now an E6683 which is originally from Hongkong. It is sold by a german dealer which is responsible for faults.
But I like to have a backup via the producers warranty. For this product I think I will get no free support within Europe.
Now there is another model on the market E6633 which is sold on the european market by default (I saw Poland, France, Portugal in Xperifirm). So if I buy this kind of model it should be no problem to get it repaired "legally" within Europe.
Now the question: is this assumption correct? Somebody has some experience with this kind of question?
Before I purchase Z5 Dual on ebay from Taiwan seller, I contact local Sony repair depot in Calgary,Alberta Canada and was told they honor the warrenty. Purchase it the next day ship from singapore. Try to find out where the local repair depot in your country.

S21 Ultra 5G (SM-G998B/DS) - UK Purchased - Moved to Hong Kong - No 5G.

Hi Folks,
I've benefited from awesome information here over the last few days as I embarked upon a trip down a huge rabbit hole.
However, my issue isn't resolved and I'm at my wits end - so would really appreciate a pointer.
My situation:
1) I have the S21 Ultra 5G (SM-G998B/DS).
2) I purchased the phone in the UK, then subsequently moved to Hong Kong.
3) 5G was working fine in the UK on "3" network. I acquired a 5G "3 HK" contract here.
I am not getting 5G signal at all anywhere in Hong Kong, only 4G+. I have tried all of the normal fault finding - APN settings, clearing cache partition, general settings - nada.
Signal checkers seem to indicate that the SM-G998B/DS should work in Hong Kong with 3.
My main problem - I think I need to remove the NR whitelist from the service mode, but:
1) The standard dialer service mode *#0011# does not have any options for UE menus.
2) The Google Phone dialer service mode *#*#276633683782#*#* is completely empty.
I can't get to any place to remove the NR whitelist.
Does anyone have any suggestions on getting this to work? I've been sitting with Samsung and 3 customer support, but their shop-level support isn't really cutting the mustard, and they don't really know if SM-G998B will work in Hong Kong.
Thanks so much in advance.
Scotty.

Just to update.
In my desperation, I strutted over to the store to consider buying a Hong Kong S21 Ultra (assuming it would be SM-G998O). Buying a new one would break my tight-fisted Scottish heart, by the way.
Imagine my surprise when the display model - booming along on 5G - was the SM-G998B/DS. My exact model.
The very knowledgeable girl in the store played around with mine but couldn't get it to work on 5G.
She thinks my work profile with the Tunnel VPN might be blocking 5G. Does anyone think that is possible?
I've already started in mode - which did not yield a fix, so I had discounted this option.
The other thing that is on my mind is the CSC.
My current CSC is BTU (UK, I believe). Would switching the to Hong Kong CSC accommodate the 5G connection in Hong Kong?
