update to android 6 for s6 - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
I have galaxy s6 with G920FXXU2COH2 baseband & g920F model number (mentioned in about phone section), there is android 5.1 installed on this phone & I want to upgrade to android 6 so I download G920FXXS4DPG4 Rom from sammobile.
I installed odin on my pc & when I want to setup this rom I faced with this error : "sboot.bin - fail"
- Is this necessary to install G920FXXU2COH2 rom (as same as primary rom)?
-how can I upgrade the rom?

If it a stock rom then use Samsung Smart Switch to upgrade.
If that don't work then use the international stock version for your part of the world with Odin.

unable to flash

hi
I have 5.0.2 firmware now, but the main problem is hot spot not working and even I can't use "shareit" app.
I want to flash 5.1.1 firmware on my phone
my phone is factory unlocked (knox warranty void: 1 (0x0000))
but after 1 sec the process fails.
I cant attach it's photo. I don't know how to attach image in XDA.
It has been rooted easily
but the twrp recovery touch didn't work and I installed sprint version and problem solved.
If I flash the wrong firmware it will not be flashed or flash will complete and the phone won't work?
because I didn't know to flash 920v or 920r4. and finally I choosed the 920v
my phone build info is: ( I used "root checker" for this information)

I flashed 920r4 firmware

I used the download mode and used twrp recovery to restore my last Rom but It isn't work too
please help
can I install custom kernel or Rom?
I only have 40% battery charge

Try to install the firmware for the G920V with different versions of Odin, starting from the latest.

I tried 6 versions of ODIN
no one works
they only flash 920r4 ROMs
it's weired because my hardware version was 920r4 and build number was 920v
how is it possible?
I flashed TWRP recovery and in recovery mode I can access to my memory using PC and battery can charge
is there another way except odin?
can I instal custom kernel or Rom?

Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime SM-J327T Firmware (AQCB)

This is the entire package, flashed and tested by myself :
DRIVE LINK
This is NOT the latest update, however it is Android 7.0.
Is there any advantage of flashing this via Odin aside from having Nougat? As in, is there any bloatware or anything?
All the released firmware files are here ( for both T and T1 ):

what is a combination rom?

Downgrading U5 to U2 or U1 on G930F

I have a galaxy s7 SM-G930F which is currently on U5 Oreo Firmware, i wanted to downgrade it to Nougat U2, tried flashing it with Odin 3.13.1 , the flash failed and i ran into an SW REV error (Device:5, Binary:2), tried several fixed but no solution .
i have 3 questions:
1. is it even possible to downgrade from U5 to U2 (i assume the answer is no but i need confirmation)
2. is it possible to install a custom rom with TWRP that is based on U2 (if yes - how, if not - why)
3.when flashing stock firmware i read that the bootloader version of the firmware must match the current bootloader version, how do i check my current bootloader version and the downloaded firmware bootloader version?

1. No it is not, once a bootloader is updated it cannot be downgraded
2. No not anymore since S6 because boot files reside on the EFS partition which is not altered when new firmware is flashed. The boot program is written to only allow upgrades to it, never downgrades (thats the easiest way to explain it.) The primary reason for firmware and thus bootloader upgrades is due to security vulnerabilities.
3. It only has to match or be higher. Within the firmware itself the bootloader version is represented by either the letter U or S, for example G930FXXU5ESD2. = U5, firmware is on bootloader version 5. It could have read S5, it would mean the same thing.
In the settings of your phone, tap >about phone>software infomation>baseband version G930FXX......

You can't downgrade using a stock nougat firmware due to the fact that you can't flash a firmware that has an older binary than the binary version of the currently installed firmware, for this reason, you will not be able to flash a stock nougat firmware.
But, if your bootloader is unlocked and there is a TWRP recovery for your specific model number and there if there are Nougat custom ROMs for your device, you can flash TWRP and then flash a Nougat ROM for your device. If there is not a TWRP or no custom ROMs for your specific model number, you will not be able to go back to nougat.

SM-N9860 Firmware Flash issue with error code "abl.elf"

Recently bought a Note 20 Ultra from Hongkong(TGY) and happened to upgrade the system from Android 11 to 12.
For some reasons i decided to flash the ROM from the TGY(HK version) to CHC(Chinese version) but failed with a typical error code "abl.elf" when running on Odin.
My baseband version is N9860ZCU3EVA3 and the firmware verion is N9860ZCU3EVA7.
i could not get around the issue. Coudl someone help?
Try first to upgrade to TGY Android 12 ---> then flash CHC Android 12.
