Hey there! on my former audi radio the volume went up went the car went faster. That was great actually. Now I find myself turning the volume up and down when going on the highway and off. Is there a mod for that? is the speed of the car sent via can bus?
My stock radio had this feature as well and I've missed it. There are a couple of apps I am going to try that promise to adjust volume based on gps speed.

mtcservice has this option I believe. I'm sure i've seen it in Xposed.
Almost correct, it is MTC-volume
Looks like it's available in both.

Yes, you are totally right, I stand corrected sir.
MTC-volume also adjusts brightness automatically based on sunrise and -set, using gps data for if you don' t use the dim based on car lights.
I have car lights always on, so perhaps it could be interesting for others too...
Is it possible to run on MTCD devices?
Yes.

Where is the setting for the brightness thing you wrote?
Can´ t find in the mtc app.
I've created an app that does that: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.festinger.autovolume

I use my Nexus kinda like a glorified pmp for now (I don't have a sim card), so it runs in airplane mode 24/7 with wifi active. Why would the dialer process be so high when looking at the battery stats?

EDIT: I found something that said it could be the "turn to silence" feature causing runaway Dialer usage. I looked and mine was indeed checked. I turned it off and will see if that changes anything tomorrow.

Where is that turn to silence option located at?
I don't have this issue, but sounds like a good tip to share when the question inevitably pops up again...

Sorry for the late reply, forgot i started this thread.
It's in Call Settings. Look for "Turn over silence" under Advanced Settings. For what it's worth, it didn't solve my issue. Dialer is still sitting around 17%
Bump.... Any help?
Any interest in combining threads?

Hello guys!
The Screen On application was a success and we thought it could be a great idea to expand the abilities of this application. We developed a new application called App Auto Settings, that works exactly as the Screen On application but let's you take control not only of the screen, but of WiFi, Bluetooth, Mobile Data, GPS and volume!
We have tested the app in as many devices as we could and it works fine, but please try it and report any bugs, suggestions or ideas, we cannot test it in all those mobile phones...
AppAutoSettings @ Android Market
Thx for share.
Not seeing option for GPS on SGSII.

Edit: 20/11/2011
So is this a beta limitation? or a limitation of GB where programs can not call for GPS on without user request like Tasker?
well, that's my bad...
at first, we wanted to take control of the GPS, but unfortunately for security reasons (good in my opinion), Google decided that only the user will be able to enable and disable the GPS, so we removed it from the application.
The screenshot though is old, and I will replace it!
Thank you for noticing it!
OK, I'm confused. No offense, but it is not very intuitive. I just downloaded it, and I cannot tell the difference between Red and Green on the Screen Timeout in the On Charge profile, and either way I set it, the screen timed out! Also, on WiFi and such, what's the difference between Red, Green and the white box? I also don't see my Navigation app.

Hey that's pretty cool, I was just thinking about that last week! Not like it's that painfully long to wake my computer up by pressing the keyboard since it boots from my SSD, but WoL makes it look even cooler.

Is there a way to disable sleep or standby mode on the sw2? I like how android wear is always on and I want that. I realize battery life will suffer but I just want to look at my watch to see it without having to turn it on.
Thanks

I would also be interested in this. Standby is too dim for my liking.
SW2 is alway ON with transflective mode (monochome) . Standby only when no movement so never when you wear it.
It have a mode with light ON and display color when press power or tap the case.

Yeah I'd like something similar where the watch was lit all the time without press, but I guess it's not possible.
It is always like picture 2.
It light up like picture 1 when press power or tap the watch. It is not possible to stay in mode light without drain the batterie in a few hours, maybe 8 hours.
But some app/watchface (the old and those for SW1) can stay in mode light.
Shouldn't the icons in the new Control Centre look a bit more closer to each other? Particularly the boxes for mobile data, wifi, bluetooth, and flashlight.
Anyone else experiencing this?

MIUI 12.08.
I'm on 12.0.7 Stable.
It sometimes look like your screenshot. After restarting it looks like this.
Your display size is set to XS.
This will mess up the Control Center.
Set it to normal and your control center will be back to normal.

I see. But I like the text on my phone to be this small. Should I just sacrifice the looks of the control center? Or will they patch this up?

I highly doubt this will be "patched" because I personally feel there's nothing TO patch here. They'd have to make designs for all the combinations of Screen + Font sizes.
I personally hate the Control Center because it has more useless information on it and a convoluted process to get basic things done as compared to regular old Quick Actions.
MIUI is basically trying hard to be Apple and implementing this Control Center garbage while completely forgetting that it is efficient on Apple because they have something called Force Touch.
