Cannot reset my galaxy s6 - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

When I try to make a factory reset it asks for my samsung account password and after I type it in nothing happens. When I try to remve the account it saysprcessing failed.
And when I try to deactivate the reactivation lock to flash twrp I again have to put in my password, but nothing happens, I typed it in like a million time but nothing happens and it's still activated
PLS Help me
Thanks in advance

1. Three questions on the same subject is bad. Don't do it.
2. It was a bad idea to disable the original Samsung account. That's the account required to remove the lock. Hope you can get it back.
3. Did you try logging into the My Account section of http://www.samsung.com? That would tell you if you were using the right email and password. Which I suspect you weren't.

1. Yes I know, I thought I changed the title and made a second thread and then I made a new one sorry.
2. How to get the account back? I just made a new account and logged in, but I still can't remove the reactivation lock, reset the device or remove the account.
3. Yes I am using thr right password. I also tried a wrong password and then it said wrong password. And when I put in the right one notthing happend.

But you will have to delete the samsung account too!
And should I do the factory reset in the recovery or in the settings?

Yes. You delete the Samsung account, then re-create it with the EXACT username & password that was used on the phone. Factory reset any way you like. Log into the Samsung account on the phone when asked. Then disable reactivation lock.

No idea. My guess is you're not using the same account that was used when reactivation lock was enabled.

I flashed official 6.0.1 rom via odin again, no difference. But now it istantly asks for the password, last time it first asked me if I want to create a google account, so I could go to the settings with a trick. But now I get this "processing failed" error and I don't know what to do ((

You could try grabbing a logcat when you try entering the password. Likely won't be able to, since USB debugging won't be enabled. I think this is now a job for a phone repair shop.

I mean, can't I just go to a samsung store, because this is a legit problem. If it would be stolen I wouldn't know the password. When I type in the wrong password it will say wrong id or password, bu when it's correct it says "processing failed".

Isn't there another way to fix this? With odin or anything?

It's an anti-theft "feature". Only Samsung - or a repair shop with other tools - is going to be able to get around it.

But I bought it with a reactivation lock and I fixed it, but now the order in the setup has changed and I cannot downgrade (device 4 binary 3 error) which has to do with the bootloader version I think

If you bought it with a reactivation lock, the *original* credentials of whomever you bought it from are the only ones that can unlock it. You could have saved all this grief by saying that at the very beginning. You're on your own.

No! I bought it and chamged the samsung account and after this I flashed a rom. Then I had my own account in it...

No.
It's not even possible to "forget" to set a separate password since it's a must if you setup fingerprint unlocking.
It's NECESSARY.
Otherwise you can't choose unlocking with fingerprint method. (Tried it by myself to be sure)

How is that possible? You need to enter it twice to confirm.
On the other hand, this is a reason for security lock - if it can be bypassed easily, then what's the point of it?
You can still root, play around with the system
What about doing a factory reset?
Boot into download mode, Odin TWRP.
Boot into TWRP, only wipe system.
Reboot, wait 10-15 minutes, redo the setup.

Whoops, forgot about /data. Perhaps he should flash Philz after TWRP, and then wipe /system and /data after making a nandroid.

Locked Moto G 2015, cant remember pattern

Hello guys,
My niece has a Moto G 2015 and has set a screen lock pattern she can't remember. She does not want to lose her Whatsapp messages, so does not want to wipe her phone. Is there any way around the screen lock, even using ADB?
Thanks,
Mark.
You can use the Android Device Manager. https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager
Sign in with the Google account that is being used on that device. From there select the device. You should have the option to Ring, Lock, Erase. Select Lock and it will ask you for a password. This password can now be entered on the device. Unlock, change lockscreen security and you should be back in business.

Ok thanks, she is trying that... but she had entered pattern initially, would the android device manager overwrite the pattern with a password?

Np, the Android device manager can be handy.. I've never needed that feature, but played around with it before and it did reset my pattern lockscreen with the password (on Android 4.4.2, I assume it's still the same).

Retrieve Photos on locked out note 5

I have my fingerprint activated and it couldn't recognize it for some reason. it then asked me to input gmail, which it also stated as being incorrect. I then change my password and the phone still says it wasent correct.
I am planning on doing a factory reset. But my photos from the past week did not automatically back up on google photos. is there anyway i can retrieve those photos on my locked device???
Take those same photos again?

Did you try plugging it into your pc? Then again, it may be stuck in charge mode. Try this. ..
Do you care about rooting?
If you don't care for Knox, flash twrp in Odin and navigate to the dcim folder to get your photos and transfer them to OTG USB.
Please remember if you do this, no more Samsung Pay!!!

There is no way to reset the Knox counter once it's tripped on the Note 5.
It's up to you. I don't know for sure if flashing the official Odin firmware will leave the Knox counter alone. Some else can confirm that.
If you don't care about Knox and Samsung Pay:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3187422
Just follow those steps to at least get to stock.

MotoG3 does not recognize the email (the rigth one) after factory reset

I did a factory reset my MotoG3 (marsmallow) and now the initial setup does not pass the part of the email ...
I am sure I am using the correct email and password used before factory reset. Still that i confirmed the account on google device manager and with the option to recall the account (provided in initial settings).
Any suggestions on how to solve this problem?
Thank you!!

If you do it correctly you won't lose your data but rooting and flashing TWRP will void your warranty, but there is way to fix that too, all you have to do after you get device unlocked is unroot the device then flash stock recovery over TWRP and you'll won't lose your warranty.

When you root, it will require installing the SuperSU app on your device, to unroot, open SuperSU app, then open its app settings, on its settings you'll see an option that says something like "cleanup for unroot and uninstall", this option will remove the su binaries from your system partition and uninstall the SuperSU app, then you'll be unrooted.
Then you just flash a copy of stock recovery to replace TWRP and you'll be back on full stock without root and warranty intact.

1) keep trying everything you can
2) give up trying
3) pay a technician to do it for you, there's no guarantee you'll get any of your data back.
