A project by Offensive Security
The Kali NetHunter is an Android penetration testing platform targeted towards Nexus and OnePlus devices built on top of Kali Linux, which includes some special and unique features. Of course, you have all the usual Kali tools in NetHunter as well as the ability to get a full VNC session from your phone to a graphical Kali chroot, however the strength of NetHunter does not end there. We've incorporated some amazing features into the NetHunter OS which are both powerful and unique. From pre-programmed HID Keyboard (Teensy) attacks, to BadUSB Man In The Middle attacks, to one-click MANA Evil Access Point setups, access to the Offensive Security Exploit Database... And yes, NetHunter natively supports wireless 802.11 frame injection with a variety of supported USB NICs.
Documentation and Attack Descriptions
Attack descriptions as well as some documentation to get you started with the installation and setup of Kali NetHunter can be found at https://github.com/offensive-securit...nethunter/wiki.
Is Kali NetHunter an Android ROM?
Kali Linux NetHunter is not a ROM but is meant to be installed over an existing stock/factory image of Android. It can also be installed over some Cyanogenmod based ROMs depending on device support. It is heavily based on using custom kernels and only supports a select number of devices. We're relying on you, the community, to port your devices for the full Kali NetHunter experience.
-To get Kali working you need an AOSP based ROMinstalled, I recommend you CyanogenMod 13, but if you have alternative sensor (which is my case) you can use CyanogenMod 12.1
-Yes, it supports external adapters
Install instructions:
1. Install CyanogenMod following their instructions, reboot and configure it as normal
2. Reboot your phone, enter on TWRP (USE THIS) and flash the Kali Nethunter pack
3. Enjoy
Download
Removed, old kernel, unstable.

LOL sure? I will try later... and see

I can't check all the features but it works pretty good with minimal chroot Full Chroot takes a lot of internal memory and I didnt manage to get that on my device, I'll full wipe etc and then try again. But its a really good work, I wouldn't think that Im going to see Nethunter on my Xperia M2 I'm going to check the full chroot when I get a lilttle time to spare

Thanks for your port sir,
I have a question...
I've installed this Kali NetHunter on my Xperia M2 Dual D2302.
Can I put my device on monitor mode??

It's impossible to turn monitor mode on the internal wi-fi chipset. You need a external adapter with an usb-otg

NEW: Kali Nethunter will be updated for Omni 7.0 by @galaxyfreak shortly. I'm a bit bussy now

I mean this device support with an external usb adapter right?
I've tried with recommended usb adapter TL-W722N but my device is not detected this adapter, and the LED not blinking. Also I've tried with another usb adapter like TL-W723, TL-W725 and when I try with TL-W727N the LED is on but not as bright as I insert it on my PC, and still undetected.
Any idea why I can't use the recommended usb adapter TL-W722N?

It upgrades just the interface to kitkat? Or it does actually upgrades the Android version? And what about the kernel?

According to the op, it is still 4.2.2, so just the interface and some apps as mentioned.
Maybe the title should be changed to reflect the fact that this is just "kitkat look & feel" It is certainly misleading.
One doubt though, what about the storage? Specifically the method to increase the device memory by reducing the internal storage.

Can't an actual ROM update be done? I would surely donate and suport it in any way I could

Unfortunately you are right because we don't have the source code to make an real update and also we don't have a supporting firmware.
If someone wants to make an actual KitKat update then he/she has to start from making the firmware then making the ROM.... that would be a very time consuming and also would need experts.

[ROM][Android M/MPZ44O][UnnamedM - SDK port of Android M][for Multirom][29/05/2015]

Yes, I know this is in the wrong section - I didn't have 10 posts when I created this thread. Please move this to the developer section if possible.
This is a port of the Android M developer preview from the emulator SDK image to the Nexus 7 (2012).
This ROM is pretty useless. Wi-Fi doesn't work, it's insecure, and there's no point in running it unless you really want to play with some of the new features of Android M. You have been warned.
Currently, this is only tested with the Nexus 7 Wi-Fi (grouper) as a secondary ROM in MultiROM with the main partition formatted as ext4: other configurations probably won't work.
Since this is based on the emulator image from the SDK, no Gapps are included.
What doesn't work:
Wi-Fi - Unfortunately, the SDK image did not include wpa_supplicant, which is required for Wi-Fi. I tried copying it from 5.1.1, but the 5.1.1 version is compiled against OpenSSL, while Android M uses BoringSSL instead. If anyone has a solution for this, I'll really appreciate it!
Bluetooth
NFC
GPS (again, /system/bin/glgps uses OpenSSL, not BoringSSL)
Screenshot function over adb
SELinux - this port runs in permissive mode; it will not run in enforcing mode as I have not adjusted the SELinux policies
Security - this is a port from an emulator image, which is signed with test-keys; thus, a malicious application can impersonate system apps. In addition, the image is rooted, but does not have a superuser management app - all superuser requests are allowed. Please don't use this ROM if you're going to store important data on it.
adb on Ubuntu - if you're getting a "Permission denied" error while trying to use ADB with this ROM on Ubuntu, make sure to tap "USB for charging" in the notification tray and select "Transfer files". ADB will start working.
(Probably more.)
Kernel
The bundled kernel is "Kernel w/ kexec-hardboot patch (Stock 5.1 and 5.1.1)" from MultiROM, which can be found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2011403
Installation
The recommended way to install this ROM is through the MultiROM custom recovery.
First, install MultiROM from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2011403
Then, boot into recovery, and select Advanced -> MultiROM -> Add ROM
Choose the ROM, and then swipe to install.

Possible to do the same with Nexus 4?
If there's no WPA_supplicant in the Emulator image, why arent you using the ones from N5/etc. Images?

I believe if anyone is running Linux at the minute, they could compile this into the zip (\rom\system.tar.gz\etc\) and change the boot image for WiFi to work (likelihood is it wont, this is a cheap fix at its best). Please notify me of any progress.
EDIT: If anyone would care to elaborate how I could participate in making WiFi work, I would gladly be able to help, but please, give a thorough explanation

Hi first I was glad to install this Android M preview. But Wifi and bluetooth not working is a big annoyance, since I can't use Internet on the phone, even by bluetooth tethering.
Btw, I tried to install .APK files and the "App permission" feature doesn't seem to work. It installed the apps with all permissions, and never asked to approve any permission on app use.
Are you sure this is Android M? Only thing which tells this is Android M is the About screen and the Android M logo.

Did you watch Google I/O? This preview has multi-windows support.
Also, the settings reference Android M.
And last, if Bluetooth and WiFi not working is and issue, then I must assume you are using this as the main ROM, not Dual/Multi booted, completely ignoring the broken features list: we know it isn't working, and saying it isn't doesn't help development.
Apk permissions might not work as this has to be AOSP due to liscencing issues, and I'm sure that relies on Google Play Services (correct me otherwise).
Just a heads-up to any future posters: Don't install this of you are going yo use it add your Internal ROM - bugs are present and features are missing.

What exactly do you need it for? Aside, can't you grab it from the official developer previews? I'm just curious, that's all, as I don't see why you don't just extract it from the actual ROM? I'd post it, but I'm not in office right now.

I need some pngs for another project, and I'd extract it myself but in Lollipop, ROMs have that stupid system.new.whatever it is so I can't take a file from the ROM file, I'd have to flash it, extract the file I need and then delete it, so it's kind of a waste of time.
EDIT: I just saw that the system is a tar.gz so I managed to extract what I needed from the ROM zip, ignore my previous request
Have you updated the ramdisk?
Can you do this for the Nexus 7 2013?

I managed to compile TWRP for our white Chinese phones. You can grab it from the link below. Flashing a custom recovery is always risky. Make a backup of your current recovery first!
DOWNLOADS
v3.0.0-0 - RAW IMAGE
v3.0.1-0 - RAW IMAGE / FLASHABLE ZIP
v3.0.2-0 - RAW IMAGE / FLASHABLE ZIP
To flash it use Flashify, raw image flash in TWRP or enter the fastboot mode and execute the following command:
Code:
fastboot -i 0x2b4c flash recovery TWRP-3.0.2-ham.img
or simply install a ZIP in your current TWRP version.
If you want to play with it by yourself, fork the source from my GitHub and try to fix something if it's broken
https://github.com/eagleeyetom/android_device_zuk_ham
Here's the recent source:
https://github.com/omnirom/android_bootable_recovery/tree/android-6.0
I will keep this thread updated once the new releases arrive. If it's stable enough, it's worth to speak with Dees_Troy to include it as official.
Working:
- Installation
- Wiping
- Sideloading
- MTP
- Archive encryption
Not properly tested:
-USB-OTG

Apologizes in advance if "alternative" sensors end up broken I hope they won't!
Need more screenshots, anyone
only issue for me is wifi doesn't see my hide network,i registered it but it stays on saved networks page. but it connects perfectly to normal networks
EDIT:File managers do not work properly or not open at all (ex. Xplore)
EDIT 2: How to grant root for adb? There is no option for that in Dev settings
Finally, thank you! I'm really curious about the background app limits in Oreo

When I said 'now' I wanted to say 'later'. During my holidays, I don't know how, I lost my 16 GB SD . I bought a new one on eBay and it may took a month. I will find another sd card tomorrow and see if I cand test it
Now it's time for feedback. (I'll write what's work and what's not, if it's written on first post, I will still write it)
- Buggy camera (can't save video recording and no 1080p recording, I use PMSCameraNextMod and stock camera)
- Bluetooth is buggy but work, especially Settings>Bluetooth (if opened, Bluetooth keep turning on and off) you need a Bluetooth device that request to pair.
I test it with my bluetooth headphone and it's connected and working.
- a bit sluggish on transition and animation
- Files doesn't show internal SD, any downloaded file like apk needs to be "copy to" to external SD with Files in order to open it from Files My mistake, sorry. Thanks @JuniorCaesar
- longer boot time compared to los 14.1. (I counted the boot animation circle, in 14.1 it's around 7-8 round. In 15 it took more than 10 round before lineage os logo show up)
- everything else is working or not used by me.
I was going to test nfc, but it seems that there is no other people's phone being unused.
That's all for now I think :good:

Bad news - they are broken... All of them :'(
But it's bootable and most of the thing works (apart from BT etc.).
I can even login to Snapchat and take picture but only with front camera - cannot switch to back one.
Also - is there something added regarding "low ram" or something like that? Because Chrome browser switched itself to that simple tabs switch (without "3D tabs") and without animations...
But overall, it's super-fast for a ROM in alpha stage

Please let us know how the Bluetooth system works. If it works like stock I'll be upgrading ASAP!
As for the problem with charging the phone... I just recently bought extra batteries, and I have an external battery charger so I'm good to go!

Thanks for your hard workskippy
couple of quick questions:
Is FM-Radio working? Or is a working FM-Radio App included?
Is the ROM rooted?
A third party camera app, e.g. open camera, would work?
I'm guessing that because the sources are directly forked from the main lineageos branch, charging doesn't work. Is this the case?

It says so right in the first 10 lines of the OP: Well, we have a really huge kernel bug: system crashes when usb cable is plugged in (you can charge your battery in recovery mode only).

ah, ok my bad (I can't read properly lol). I think rashed uploaded some new commits to his fork, maybe for charging. Im currently making a build to test.

Stock FMRadio is not implemented by LineageOS as it's not working, and I'm not going to implement it too. Sorry for that.

Actual build (11/04) is not rooted: you need to flash Magisk (download link available in the OP), BUT next builds will be pre-rooted.

Yes, you hit the point: stock camera won't work but any other third party camera would work perfectly.

That's a problem that happens every once in a while (and maybe more often on the LOS 15.1 builds for the G5), and has to do with the misc partition corrupting. Here is a thread that should work https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/how-to/guide-fix-wifi-mac-address-changing-t3533841 and here are the instructions I followed: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/how-to/guide-fix-wifi-mac-address-changing-t3533841/post70474540#post70474540. If you do this right (use your real mac address when following the instructions), the fixes should be for the most part permanent.

I mean, everything works fine it's not the best definition for this ROM :silly:
What do you mean when you say "Mac is not valid"?
Would you like to test the first build (11/04, no github commits) and see if it works?
Here it is: [url]https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=962187416754474747[/URL]
Thank you!
I mean 02:00:00:00 as Mac. I'll try the solution form AutinDroid.
Okay i softbricked my Phone witch that so i'll try to flash that previous build
Okay now WIFI works with the Mac i've tiped in the misc files (this was causing the brick) but i flashed the previous one version maybe it would work with the current version aswell.

I had your problem in past, but not this time: I'm running the 14/04 build with no MAC problems.
Hope you managed to solve, feel free to PM me whenever you need help
