Please let us know how the Bluetooth system works. If it works like stock I'll be upgrading ASAP!
As for the problem with charging the phone... I just recently bought extra batteries, and I have an external battery charger so I'm good to go!

couple of quick questions:
Is FM-Radio working? Or is a working FM-Radio App included?
Is the ROM rooted?
A third party camera app, e.g. open camera, would work?
I'm guessing that because the sources are directly forked from the main lineageos branch, charging doesn't work. Is this the case?

It says so right in the first 10 lines of the OP: Well, we have a really huge kernel bug: system crashes when usb cable is plugged in (you can charge your battery in recovery mode only).

ah, ok my bad (I can't read properly lol). I think rashed uploaded some new commits to his fork, maybe for charging. Im currently making a build to test.

Stock FMRadio is not implemented by LineageOS as it's not working, and I'm not going to implement it too. Sorry for that.

Actual build (11/04) is not rooted: you need to flash Magisk (download link available in the OP), BUT next builds will be pre-rooted.

Yes, you hit the point: stock camera won't work but any other third party camera would work perfectly.

That's a problem that happens every once in a while (and maybe more often on the LOS 15.1 builds for the G5), and has to do with the misc partition corrupting. Here is a thread that should work https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/how-to/guide-fix-wifi-mac-address-changing-t3533841 and here are the instructions I followed: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/how-to/guide-fix-wifi-mac-address-changing-t3533841/post70474540#post70474540. If you do this right (use your real mac address when following the instructions), the fixes should be for the most part permanent.

I mean, everything works fine it's not the best definition for this ROM :silly:
What do you mean when you say "Mac is not valid"?
Would you like to test the first build (11/04, no github commits) and see if it works?
Here it is: [url]https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=962187416754474747[/URL]
Thank you!
I mean 02:00:00:00 as Mac. I'll try the solution form AutinDroid.
Okay i softbricked my Phone witch that so i'll try to flash that previous build
Okay now WIFI works with the Mac i've tiped in the misc files (this was causing the brick) but i flashed the previous one version maybe it would work with the current version aswell.

Hello and good news everybody!
Sailfish OS on Motorola Moto-G 2013 (falcon), this is a community port!
Status, download, installation...
Sailfish OS is a GNU/Linux based mobile operating system, which is gesture-driven for the ease of use. It runs natively as glibc (not Android's bionic), has bash and busybox (not toolbox), uses Qt for UX, and other opensource projects in its middleware -- which basically is just like a Linux on your desktop, but needs Android drivers for some of device's hardware.
And everything else you need to know:

Working: calls, data, wifi, bluetooth, sensors, camera (with bugs), gps
Buggy: Bluetooth Headset/Carkit, Phone does not go to sleep if WiFi is turned on

Installation
Unlock boot loader and install CM 12.1 from the 'Android Base' link above.
FAQ: http://bit.ly/port-user-faq
Install the SailfishOS .zip over the top using TWRP
Keep fingers crossed!
If you just get the bootloader warning screen, hold down the power button to force a reboot, and it will probably work next boot.
Enabling OTA updates
Connect to the phone using SSH, or using the local terminal enter the following (after setting the devel-su password)
devel-su sed -i -e 's#^adaptation=.*$#adaptation=http://repo.merproject.org/obs/nemo:/devel:/hw:/motorola:/falcon/sailfish_latest_armv7hl/#' /usr/share/ssu/repos.ini
version --dup
This will set up the device specific repository to my OBS project, and the version command will perform the update. This will keep you up to date with my developments, but I wont guarantee I wont break anything!
If you do an OTA update now, you should find that vibration will work and the BT MAC address displays correctly in the About screen. These are not in the latest image.XDA:DevDB Information

Sorry for my bad english
Sweet.
Looks good, Gonna test it right now and report my findings..
Do the clean flash or dirty flash? Sorry.. Noob question
I tested it a bit. And it seams to be smooth. Wifi worked perfectly
I couldn't test bluetooth.. While playing around with it i went to the Jolla store and tried to log to it popped up with an error that said "Problems During device IMEI registration. Device IMEI wasn't saved".. After that i went to the Warehouse appstore and i tried to enable a repository and it said
"ERROR occurred

Status:no-distro-upgrade-data
Could not configure Normal more"
Oh and one more thing MTP didn't work

First of all thank you for your time and work.
Do you have any idea why this issue with Jolla store could be? I don't know if it's something common with other ports
Maybe the signal strenght bug is due to the baseband version?
Heys guys,
What build of CM12.1 you guys used ?
I have a XT1032, managed to install SailfishOS with cm-12.1-20151117-SNAPSHOT-YOG7DAO1K9-falcon.zip and i was able to boot into SailfishOS, problem is i cant stay in it ... it auto reboots after like 1min or so..
Anyone with same issue?
Cheers

Disclaimer:
Altough we are working hard to deliver a bug-free rom, things may break and we are not responsible if something goes wrong and your hardware becomes damaged or if you have any problem, you are taking a risk flashing roms.
Hi, so you might wonder why the other thread got closed and what's all of this about. Well, the answer is that now I'll be maintaining this rom while Surdu will take care of Resurrection Remix, the rom is the same and you can flash this builds without wiping if you had the 'older' rom.
Instructions:
If you come from stock EMUI 5.0:
Install TWRP (Available in this subforum)
Format data
Flash vendor.zip
Flash LineageOS's zip
If you already have LineageOS:
Flash LineageOS's zip
Downloads:
Find them in this DevDB project section called 'Downloads' (you might need to use a computer)
Bugs:
Encryption
Changelog:
Code:
01/06/2017 - Fixed random reboot issue
01/06/2017 - Added loop support
29/06/2017 - Fixed tethering
29/06/2017 - Fixed shaky camera
29/06/2017 - Updated Lineage source
Asking for help...
There are still some little bugs to fix and things will break from time to time, so in order to properly help you and keep the thread organized every help petition should include:
Brief description of the issue
A way to replicate it
Screenshots/Logs
Without that information, your post will be futile so please meet those easy conditions and try to keep the thread clean!
Last but not least, thanks to the whole OpenKirin team (@surdu_petru @OldDroid) for their amazing job at keeping updated roms for kirin devices as well as helping with this one.

I'm bit confused. So where is the download section?
Found it
Sorry about that, there must be a problem with XDA servers, it's taking more than an hour to upload! And unfortunately I couldn't upload it without posting the DevDB thread, if it keeps working like that I'll find a more reliable storage solution.
I am really sorry! Check back in 5 minutes or so
Very nice job, and happy you fixed the issue. I'll set it as my daily driver once everything's OK
So what exactly caused the issues ? I'm curious as to whether it could have been solved on our own (i do say without Huawei's kind but forced operations).
And what do we do with that vendor.zip ? Flash it on top of Lineage's original Vendor package ?
(EDIT : Check post on top, the joys of cross-posting )
Still, thank you immensely on behalf of all the community

Hi, the problem was that a driver introduced by Huawei checked the time that it takes to boot (running in a kthread), if it takes more than three minutes it reboots to eRecovery, but it looks like it waits for a signal from userspace to check if it booted (like, write 1 to /sys/.... Whenever it boots).
We were actually aware of this being the issue, and tried to avoid it by editing the function's code (ARM64 instructions because we had no source (By filling the function with NOP or returning 0)) but we didn't succeed at first and thought that the kernel release was near so it made no sense to keep wasting time on it, if you want to see more details just go to github and check what we did, I hope that you understood the explanation.
Thanks for your kind words!
EDIT: The rom is up, you can download it now.
The Lineage zip file has uploaded! Thanks again for all your guys work.
Thx for your job. I'll now have to unlock the bootloader and start flashing. Two questions: can I lock the bootloader again once I installed LOS? Do i need to install twrp or is it enough to just boot it for installation?

Not at all, you need to be on EMUI in order to relock it. (You can if you go back to EMUI but I think that you asked if you could do that while you are on LineageOS).

TWRP is just needed to format data and install the ROM, there's no need to keep it after installing the ROM.

AOSP 8.0.0 - Honor 8
Introduction
Hi, this is our new release of AOSP 8.0 for the Honor 8, as of now, the rom is not completely finished but it's in a state suitable for early adopters and testers in order to receive feedback.
How to install:
Download the rom from the Downloads section
Wipe data from TWRP and remove encryption
Flash the provided zip file
(Optional) Install Gapps if you are going to use them (now's the moment)
Reboot (it may take some time)
Known bugs:
Camera (both of them)
VoLTE
How to seek help or report a bug:
Take this into account, if we can't reproduce the bug, we can't fix it, so try to be as descriptive as possible and include as much information as you can, also make sure you have read all of the instructions and that it isn't a problem just in your end.
Finally, I just want to thank the rest of the OpenKirin team (@surdu_petru, @OldDroid) for their huge contributions and all of you for your support.
I'll also make a special mention to FunkyHuawei since they have helped us to get some files we needed to start working as soon as possible, they are legit and the #1 option to recover your device.
Have fun!

if can support china version phone, what need i provide ?
@XePeleato you right. Added APN manual then mobile data work as it must. I tested with Webview browser cause rom can boot up with gapps (Test with delta base gapps and micro gapps from opengrapps).
I find a more bugs, this is aosp keyboard FC when switched to number key.
I send you a log I get from matlog, hope can help you find out bugs. NFC as I say, still not work, can not switch to ON.

Great, thanks! I think I know what the problem is, I'll try to fix it for the next release, it shouldn't be too hard.

Update: F1f is now official in LineageOS 16.0.
To install*: https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/f1f/install
I'm installing the first build to test, nice!
Hello,
Since @highwaystar_ru pushed reviews that have since been merged to the LineageOS repositories, I built a few releases of LineageOS 16.0.
Credits go to: @highwaystar_ru, @uberlaggydarwin and I must be missing a lot of devs
Here is a rom I'm using since one week as my only phone, that I consider stable (this is debatable). At this time, here are the bugs I noticied (nothing extraordinary for LineageOS or Spectrum users):
camera has the beauty effect engaged (****ty portraits)
GNSS assistance doesn't seem to work (first fix can take more than one minute)
sound output on the jack can saturate
battery readings are off
no VoLTE support (not tested)
This first stable build is coming from the code in the repos on tuesday jan 29th with only one patch: Allow webview_zygote to read /dev/ion
Download link: lineage-16.0-20190129-UNOFFICIAL-f1f.zip on MEGA (556 MB)

Good Work @kdd998 , To fix earphone sound issue (and improve some other sound quality) try flashing attached zip. If it works replace the acdb cal files in device_f1f_audio_acdbdata_ with the ones in this zip. It has worked with all older versions of android.
I also find that camera and LTE (band28 700mhz specifically) is better when using colourOs bootloader and firmware. It is 1 defconfig change and a few changes in BoardConfig.mk to build boot.img for colourOs base. I have only tested this on marshmallow builds but I think it shoud work. Let me know if you want to test it and I'll send you the changes. You only need to build the boot.img then flash clourOs bootloader, firmware, twrp and the boot.img to test it.

Does it okay in this new ROM now?

I think so, after the first full charged, the reading still incorrect and drop fast as previous version, except this, everything is running smoothly!
It's a great ROM!

u can find the zip file which uninstalls audiofx and installs musicfx from here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/viperaudio-viperatmos-3-8-sq-driver-t3289075
from this flash the MusicFX Installer and AudioFX Remover.zip and then install viper4android from magisk

Flashing your unofficial build now.
I take it coming from 18.1 official requires a clean flash?
Thanks so much for keeping these devices alive it really means a lot to me.

Think I'll stick with unofficial for a while since it passes safetynet without root.
Fwiw the at a glance widget doesn't show the weather for me and I had to disable the Android system intelligence as it kept telling me it had stopped not sure if the intelligence controls that widget.

You're a wizard thanks!
Official builds running on Saturday night.
I'm currently on 18.1 official and just got an OTA notice about this build (19). Currently using OpenGapps micro for Android 11, should I wait for that to update before i download the new 19 ROM or is it okay to switch to MindTheGapps? The test builds for OpenGapps don't work for SDK32 according to the OpenGapps thread, so I would need to switch to get Gapps.
Just an FYI I moved over to official builds since they released today seems you can't manually pick the Material You colour from the wallpaper and style menu.
I *think* it was there on the unofficial build.
Front Camera Not Working
Yep this weeke update didn't fix the front camera either
The screen size of the app don't macht my phone screen, please check attached pics.
Only the nova settings screens is ok, the rest are positoned on the upper left side of the screen. But only at graphic level. The interface level (touchs) is recognized at full screen. It makes the phone almost unusable.
It works fine with lineageos 18.1.
I don't know if it is a configuration issue or another problem.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance
Are the above issues (front camera and screen size) are still problematic in the most recent builds?
