Having trouble rooting my galaxy s6 - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Ok so here is my dilemma, I have a AT&T samsung galaxy 6, but I have cricket service if that makes a difference. I have tried several methods to try and root my device but nothing seems to work. I'm getting really frustrated and ready to throw in the towel. Can anyone help me out here I'm at my wit's end. All the info you need should be in the picture, if not just ask.

[Q] Missing IMEI number on Galaxy S

Hi all, I am a complete noob and have gotten myself into a big hole.
I was messing around with my galaxy s to root it and install roms, I followed all of the instructions but I think something went wrong in the back up process and had no esf file any where. Now I have a phone that is stuck in flight mode and have been using it as an iPod basically.
I did this about 6 months ago and can't really remember what I did. I don't mind sending it back to Sammy if I need too but would rather not have to pay if I can get away with it. I know messing around with IMEI numbers is highly illegal but any help would be greatly appreciated. If it is of any help to the situation, my gf has a galaxy s as well, don't know if this would be any good to get any files I need but at the same time I am scared to ruin her phone. I know I am an idiot and I promise I will never play around again.
Galaxy S or Galaxy S 4G (SGH-T959V)?

[Q] Galaxy SIII from MetroPCS

I have been finding it very difficult to find any specific info about rooting, updating and any problem solving period on my MetroPCS SGH-T999N. Now I was under the impression that T-Mobile bought out MetroPCS but there is no real info on that either. This phone as cool as it is will not(and this is really dumb) let me moves App to the SD card. No matter which program I install. I read somewhere that enough S4 users complained and Samsung had their people write an update to fix that. So they say, I can't be 100% sure on that one.

HELP PLEASE attempted to root galaxy s6

Hello, tonight I attempted to root my Rogers galaxy s6 and crap hit the fan, I thought it was successful in fact I used odin_3 and it said it did it no problem, but when my phone turned back on from adding the kernel it wont connect to wifi, I've searched high and low for a solution and nothing. I'm getting pretty desperate here all I want now is to bring it back to stock firmware, I probably went way over my tech level trying to do this so any sort of help would be greatly appreciated

I want to root phone but nervous about it, and seeking reassurance or dissuasion.

My phone is a "renewed" Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) AT&T unlocked. I'm scared that if I try to root, it will get bricked because of some kind of anti-root measure put in place by the manufacturer or AT&T. Basically I'd like to know if it should be okay, or if rooting is definitely a bad idea. Thanks
Rooting is always a bad idea when you consider to run banking/payment apps on the phone: those apps refuse to work if root detected.
