[Q] Missing IMEI number on Galaxy S - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

Hi all, I am a complete noob and have gotten myself into a big hole.
I was messing around with my galaxy s to root it and install roms, I followed all of the instructions but I think something went wrong in the back up process and had no esf file any where. Now I have a phone that is stuck in flight mode and have been using it as an iPod basically.
I did this about 6 months ago and can't really remember what I did. I don't mind sending it back to Sammy if I need too but would rather not have to pay if I can get away with it. I know messing around with IMEI numbers is highly illegal but any help would be greatly appreciated. If it is of any help to the situation, my gf has a galaxy s as well, don't know if this would be any good to get any files I need but at the same time I am scared to ruin her phone. I know I am an idiot and I promise I will never play around again.

Galaxy S or Galaxy S 4G (SGH-T959V)?

[Q] Trying to find my phone and how to root it etc

Hi there guys im completely new to this, as only the other day my father told me about rooting my phone and upgrading the software as only now the software on my phone has started to fail me and I think its time for a change.
On the phone its model number is the Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9003 so I'm not entirely sure which phone to choose on the Samsung Android devices on the forums, also I was told there was a noob guide on here on how to root the phone and then being able to upgrade it.
I apologize if I have posted in the wrong area, but any help would be extremely grateful, as my phone keeps switching itself off everything keeps crashing and basically its just acting like a piece of crap.
Thanks again

[Q] Anyone know how toUnlock a Samsung Galaxy S that is phone locked?

Hi all, proper random but i went out about a month ago now, got in a proper mess and randomly woke up with someones phone in my pocket, its a samsung galaxy s i9000, wasnt sure whether it was a mates or not so announced it on my facebook seeing if they would come forward, but no one has, so i must have found it, im not the type to steel, promise! i have an iphone 4 so ive taken it me being a complete w*nker and taking it from someone as an option. i was thinking may as well try and put it to use rather than just chucking it, its on a 3 network, but its not got sim lock, its phone locked, just asking for a password to get into it, ive spent an hour or so trying to find out if theres a way but havent yet come across a way, if there is one. Help would be appreciated
I have the same phone dude its simple, search threw here (in the i9000 section ,first you'll need to root it with Odin, after you have root go to market and download Samsung galaxy unlock and follow the steps and your done.
*very important once your rooted make a copy of your efs folder(contains your imei number)it can/will change depending on if you flash roms.*
Good luck

I Want To Know

Hello,
My name is Alejandro Espino but I go by Sam. I want to know more about android. I want to know as much as my own brain is capable of knowing/understanding. If anyone is willing to collaborate with me, I would be very grateful. I'm a senior in high school and I love fixing stuff. I have bricked only one device, and cannot figure out how to fix it. I own a samsung sm-t217a (samsung galaxy tab 3 att lte) but i messed with the build prop file and basically destroyed it (the tablet still boots up and powers on, i messed with the build name, model numbers, etc. and when i rebooted, the root was said to be installed wrong). As of now, I am using my younger brothers Samsung Vibrant which I rooted and installed a custom lollipop rom with the aid of my friend that taught me a few things about how do mess with android. I got way off topic, sorry. But if anyone is willing to collab, please message me via email([email protected]) or kik(sammyes1998) thank you.
You are at the right place, learn and help others,

hello, newbies here. we have a s7 and it is frp locked and would like some help?

ive been reading for a couple weeks on my spare time and we surely would like to get this phone useable. i think i understand the files ill need, the number to the phone is a 930vluds8dsa1. so the combination file ill need has a binary of "8"? ive also sorta figure out that its a straight talk phone and i will have to flassh it back to a verizon since there isnt a straight talk stock firmware? if someone could point me in the right directions i would greatly appreciate it.
i also have a note 4 i would like to root, so im still doing homework on that also
thanks in advance to anyone who give this post some of there personal time
