I need a rom for GT-I9300T - General Questions and Answers

Hey Guys i downloaded a I9300 CM13 ROM for my I9300T, i tried to flash it via TWRP, but i got status error 7, which is i think because the ROM isn't compatible with my phone.. maybe it is? I dunno, if it isn't then what ROM do i download, i would highly appreciate some help here, i have a I9300 as well and that was flashed in such a easy stress free manner, but this I9300T just wont do it, can anyone point me in the correct direction? Thanks!

Sorry the error was " Updater process ended with ERROR: 7 " it wouldnt let me flash CM13, so all i done was just done a factory reset from TWRP Recovery and attempted to flash again, it worked, so problem solved.
Seems the I9300 CM13 Rom worked with the GT-I9300T, no problems so far.

Cannot Flash Any Rom Besides CM11 (set_perm: some changes failed)

Hey guys, just looking for some help with this. For the record, I was using TWRP 2.8. Last night I tried to install NuSenseSIX from the development forum, only to have this error: set_perm: some changes failed. Thinking it was just a problem with the download, I downloaded a second copy, checked the MD5 (which was the same), flashed it, same error. I then tried flashing DigitalHigh's GPE Rom, but the same error had came up. I RUU'd the phone back to stock (credit for the RUU goes to dottat), installed TWRP, flashed:failed. Flashed CWM, Rom flash:failed (every Rom I mentioned before failed to flash). Everything had the same error, although CWM reported it as Error 7. The only Rom that installs successfully and boots is CM11, I have no clue as to why. I'm stuck, I don't know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: Only the CM11 M10 Snapshot will flash, I just tried to flash the latest nightly (10/5/14) and it gave me "assert failed: run program("/system/bin/makelinks.sh") == 0"

Try doing another ruu. Then boot to hboot and chose factory reset. Make sure you do not flash twrp before doing the factory reset.

Hey dottat! Sorry I forgot to give you credit for the ruu. I'll give that a shot after work tomorrow. Thanks for the reply. By the way, what does flashing TWRP before doing the factory reset do? I flashed mine without even doing that.

Factory reset using stock recovery can fix things twrp sometimes can't.

Alright, thanks. As I said, I'll try it tomorrow. I'll report back with new info.
By the way, what's the difference between the old ruu you made and the new one? I flashed the old one and I want to know if that might be why it didn't fix my issue.
Well... same issue after doing what you said. I'm honestly really sad right now.

[Q] Trouble flashing ROM's

My G3 is ruuning the latest software from att. I am running TWRP 2.8.2.0 Bump recovery. I have tried flahsing CM11, CM12, Fusion and others. I cleaned flashed all these and all failed. They all said something like "Cant flash over incompatible data." Also something about updating binaries. If you dont know what the problem is let me know anyways. It helps. Please help me out. I really want CM12. Thanks in advanced.
Update: Used philz touch recovery 6.58.9.1 and worked!
Where did u get philz touch cwm for the att lg g3. I looked and couldn't find it. Googled it and searched threads. No luck finding it anywhere. Thought we only had twrp. Post a link if u can.

Need recovery help! LG-E980

Ok so thanks ahead of time for any help given, here is my story. I have a E980 with the latest AT&T 4.4.2 on it and should have done a little more reading before I installed a custom recovery. I used a one click rooting app for pc which worked great and root was achieved with no problems. Then not knowing about needing a lokified recovery for this I used FREEGEE and CM Rom Manager to attempt to install a custom recovery which both said they were successful and according to CM Rom manager i am running CM recovery 6.0.3.8. My phone still works fine but I can't factory restore or boot into recovery without getting the secure booting error Cause: boot certification verify. I have looked for the last two days on this form and others trying to find a way to get back into recovery. Everything I have read on this error ends up leading back to me using the recovery to flash another rom or another recovery which I can't do. From what I have read the people with this error normally can't do anything on there phones. I do have Android studio installed (although don't really know how to use it) on my PC in hopes that there is some way I can fix this. Please if anyone can lead me in the right direction so I can get back into a recovery and load the lokified one it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again for any help given!

[Q] Stuck at OMNI logo

Hello guys! Sorry i'm just new at flashing ROMs. So far I only flashed my Note II and it was successful and I tried flashing my TF300T 'coz it's very slow.
I follow a guide from transformer forums and all seems fine but when I reboot it, I was stuck at the omni logo.
When I turn off my device, I can still access recovery. Can anyone help me please?
UPDATE I fix it by wiping data but i don't have play store, not sure if the device is still rooted and still have TWRP.

Help with installing MOAR 6.2 ROM

First, I have to apologize for being more or less a noob. I have been away from Android for a few years and just returned with a Galaxy S5. I used to flash ROMs all the time but it has been awhile and I have not had a Samsung before.
I was running stock Lollipop, then I rooted and installed phillZ CWM recovery. I then downloaded MOAR 6.2 and attempted to flash it from recovery, but keep getting errors, it says something about the signature and then it fails and reboots. I tried downloading it several times from both the main source and the mirror, and I did check the MD5. It is on the root of my SD card. So what am I doing wrong? Hopefully someone can help me get back into my Android ROM flashing!
Thank you in advance for your help.
I figured it out - I had flashed the CWM recovery but for some reason I still had the stock android recovery. It's all good now!
