HOW TO DISABLE PHONE NUMBER SHOWING @ every text message

Hello there,
First of all, this phone is A M A Z I N G especially comin from a Galaxy S2 LTE. But I have this thing bugging me where when texting a contact that I registered his Home & mobile phone, in front of every text he sends me, it writes his phone number and (Mobile). This is pretty much ugly-annoying & I'ld like to know if someone knows how to disable it without having to use a 3rd party app for sms.
Merci, Thank you.

Haha yeah, it'd be nice to disable it.
I don't think we can though
I'm considering using a third party app or creating separate contacts...

[Request] Remove Lock screen restriction when VPN added

It's a nuisance when you are no longer able to use swipe as your lock screen when a VPN entry has been entered.
Please remove lock check.
I agree, totally unnecessary - how can it be bypassed (without using 3rd party app)?

Hidden menu in stock browser incl. change user agent

Please forgive me if this has already been posted, or if it's regarded as common knowledge. I couldn't find mention of this anywhere in the S4 forums, so I figured that it might not be widely known.
I was reading a post about a hidden debug menu in the stock browser for a different device, so I thought I would try it in the S4, and it works!
Open the browser.
In the url bar, type chrome://debug
It should say "This web page is not available". Ignore that message, but don't close the tab.
Then press menu and tap settings. You will see a new menu item: Debug.
In there, you will see a hidden menu of settings including, most interestingly, an option 'UAString' which lets you change the user agent ID which tells websites what browser you are using. In other words, you can set your browser to tell websites that you're using a desktop, or an iPhone, or a tablet, etc. Other browsers, like Dolphin or Boat Browser, have this option. You can use it to avoid getting mobile versions of websites by default, or to access certain features on websites only available to iPhone users.
Once again, I apologise if this is old news. Let me know if it is
Hope it's helpful.

It worked just fine for me.
Thanks OP for the heads up, I'm not a browser superuser either
Does this just change that one tab for that one session, or does it have to be reset to normal afterwards?

Can I convert text to a searchable app?

My coworkers and I use a quick reference book while at work. The trouble is, it is small print and confusing. I would like to turn it into a search able app for faster use. Is there an easy way to accomplish this?

Touch Tap or Click?

Just recovered old pin mice from loft. Happy for pin less USB mouse now.
The input mechanism changed completely. Tap to talk!!!
Do we realize we still keep using the word "CLICK" in this touchscreen world?
Shall we discuss what is appropriate word Touch or Tap or Click or any new word?
